I've been out of town & have not kept up with y'all nor been even trying at all. However; I've finally come to my senses, again, and will get back on track. I have so much trouble when I visit family & come to Memphis, TN. They have the best BBQ!!! My family and my in-laws always have tons of food & sweets out, around & offered to me. It is so hard to turn down but I'm back on it, as of today. Even if I cannot resist... I can get back into the habit of logging and be more conscientious.. Maybe even hit my goals. So, today... I may not exercise due to bad headache that I awoke with & lack of time. But, I will be making conscious decisions about what I put in my mouth. If I overeat or eat high calorie foods, I want to be aware that I am CHOOSING to do just that.

Sun. - Hiked a couple of strenuous hours! I just noticed that when I entered my food tracking tonight that it said if every day was like today I would be at 185 lbs (my summer goal) in 5 weeks. I'm 5 weeks away from the end of summer..............I don't think I can do what I did today every day but being the competitive person that I am it certainly gives me incentive! lol

Finally back on track after vacation. I have an appt with a Nutritionist on Thursday
at my home. I will be paying for these sessions so I hope I see some results.
I found her through my Pilates instructor. I will continue on here as with other
sites that I am on so I hope to see my scale start to go down.

Hello all! Recently I have been struggling. I've had some family problems and its made my life very difficult. (Aren't teenagers FUN? :huh: ) While I have been logging what I eat and stayed within my limits, I have been spending many of my days in bed battling with depression. There have been days that I couldn't eat. I don't want anyone looking back at my food journal and thinking that I was starving myself for the sake of weight loss. A few days ago I started working out again, and I am feeling better. I am BACK, and ready to continue this fight.

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I ate well and I exercised... sounds good to me :blushing:
What would I have done differently? Nothing
What is today's personal goals? Today is my birthday. I turn 37. So my goal is to enjoy the day. While I will make good food choices, my day is not going to be all about my calories! My hubby, daughter, and niece made mini cupcakes with a recipe I got from here that aren't disastrous for my weight loss efforts. My hubby is making me breakfast in bed, but he made sure it was reasonable, and I have already picked out what I am going to eat when I go out for dinner tonight. So I may not be back to log until tomorrow morning. If I go over.... OOPPPS good thing I am going to the gym Friday! Have a great day everyone

Back in town. Even though I wanted to start tracking a few days ago, it didn't really happen. I did have some restraint for the rest of the trip, but not enough. So, a little gain, but not updating my tracker yet. (3 pounds).
Today, will be a rough one & I doubt that I will be under calories and may not get exercise in... but hopefully tomorrow, I can get back on track.
