That is so neat that you have chosen to not literally count anymore. I am hoping one day to intuitively know what a serving looks like. I am not there yet, though.0 -
I've lost about 50lbs since starting to track calories on this site. I did lose about 40lbs before that by eating smaller portions (sadly, to pay back student loans while working as a post doc; I wasn't even trying to lose weight).0

I've lost 65 pounds counting calories in all sorts of delicious food and eating within my calorie limits.0

It's working like a charm.
I like you

You counted all of them??
I think you might have OCD0 -
I started out counting, lost 20 pounds, hung out a maintenance for a while, then lost fifteen more. Now been at maintenance for two years. Counted the entire time. I will always weigh, count, and log. It takes very little time and I'll always be sure of maintaining without worrying.0

I only count "clean" calories.0

Ohhh and sugar calories are of the devil.0

Nah, I decided to go to a calorie counting website because I didn't want to count calories.0

I'm an evil person because I don't count the calories in wine. I've still lost over 70lbs. Does that make me a special snowflake?0

I do, but I can only count to 50. Consequently, I seem to be on a Very Very Very Very Very Very Low Calorie Diet.0

I was told as long as I used 42, my answer would be right. That's why I eat everything as either 42 calories, grams, or ounces, and try to eat 42 total servings a day of things. I figure the means I'll reach the correct weight. Is that not how it works?
Of course it is. 42 is the correct answer to everything. You are on the right track.
