Just hit my 30lbs loss so I treated myself to some tickets to see my favourite comedian.
Next goal is 40lb loss when I get to buy a new pair of trainers for the gym. My old ones have been worn as much in the last 3 months as the previous 6 years, and they just remind me of how little effort I used to put in when I wasn't committed.10 -

Thanks to everyone who shares on this thread. You're all so inspiring!

Getting my cycling cadence up from only in the upper 60's to be 85.Then my husband will put on a better components for my bicycle. So I can cycle faster. Cadence is the number of times you pedal per minute.
Did a 21km cyclist nightmare yesterday with really lot of wind. My cadence on this route was only between 66 and 68. Did it yesterday at 76.

Mine's really silly (I think) - this is my second round of major weight loss, the first was in 2009. I then gained all and some back over the last 6 years, so I'm about to reach my "first starting weight" and that for me shines light into the end of the tunnel!
I posted the above on January 29th this year. Since then I have (successfully) reached my "first starting weight" on February 21st.
Today my Mini Goal is to reach my "first lowest weight" ever, which is the lowest I got after the first bout of weight loss. That number is higher than my goal weight this time, but back in 2009 I was a student in Britain so there was a LOT of booze and going out, so I never made it to my goal then. This time is different!11 -
Mine is to loose the weight in my boobs !!5

To be under 200 by the end of the year. I'm at 219 so between the sprained ankle and the holidays, it's ambitious but I'm going for it anyway.7

My mini-goal is to get into the "normal" BMI range before we leave for the trip. It's within sight!
Based on the date of your post I'm thinking you're in Maui now (or leaving today)? Did you make it?0 -
My current mini-goal is to get my waist measurement (FYI I measure at the narrowest point, just below my ribs, rather than where my trousers actually go) at or below 30 inches by the end of the year. I wouldn't have dreamed it possible when I started in May (I was a full metre/40 inches around at my narrowest point!!!)—not least because I'm an apple shape with a short, compact torso, but since I'm down to 33.5 as of this week I'm hopeful. Whether it's by the end of this calendar year or not, whenever I do make it there it'll be the smallest around I've been in at least 15 years.5

I've just achieved one, so I'm booking a massage.
The next one (working on an Xmas deadline) is to lose another half a stone. When I'm there I'm booking a facial.
I am really bad at pampering myself, usually treating others instead. I like these little goals - but my husband says I MUST make sure I book the treats and actually do them. He knows me too well I think...8 -
My weight and centimeters have stayed constant for the last 2-3 months. But now my pants is starting to fall down.3

I'm aiming for Onderland by December 1st! Currently sitting at 204, and generally I aim to lose about a pound a week. So I should be right on target!10
-
I have set A LOT of mini goals. I would like to reach 201.9. That will be the lowest I've been in the last year. Then I'll tackle the next 2 lbs to enter onderland!

So, my dressmaker requested a photo in tight (but not too tight) clothing to use as a reference with my measurements, since she is so far away. I haven't looked at any photos of me since I gained my 100 lbs. It is a personal preference, because I don't want to feel so discouraged. However, I do have my fiancé taking photos of during my weight loss, he just stores them for me and I don't look at them.
Well, I picked out a black dress and knee tights, which is something I regularly wear. When I saw the photos, I just wanted to cry because, to me, I looked so horrible. However, my hubby-to-be looked at me and said, You ought to see the photos from the very beginning, before you lost 30 pounds you have now. You are making progress.
I have 3 months to lose and a month to maintain left before the wedding. I want to drop jaws.10 -
My minigoal was to workout again. Aaaaand ✔️ did that tonight. It felt sooo good, should've done it a long time ago but glad I finally did it today9

mini goals every 5 lbs - bigger is healthy bmi (146) - then goal (135)!
This is the same mini goal I have been using this past year. When I focus on 5 pounds it seems so much more obtainable. I have now achieved 10 of these goals in the last year and have 2 more to go. Good luck to you.6 -
I haven't really set mini goals yet, but once I reach my finish line, I'm going to reward myself. I guess the reward is kind of a goal in itself. Once I hit the desired weight, I'm getting myself a Versace suit.
I guess it would be a good idea to set mini goals as motivation boosters5 -
I lost 40lbs in the first 8mo, then I slowed down so it took 7months to lose 5, I'm over taking a break & lowered my calories to lose these last 10, I'm ready for it to be over7

I am trying to get below 200 by Christmas. Merry Christmas to me!10

Mini goal: Getting below 160. Stick to the plan. One day at a time.6

Mini goal -- I have 4 lbs. to lose before I hire a personal trainer to help me tone. Long-term goal: I want to be able to wear a bathing suit that doesn't have to camouflage my stomach during summer 2018. We take a beach trip every year with a bunch of friends who don't otherwise see me often, and I want them all to really notice a new Michele! Life-time goal: Healthy lifestyle without gimmicks or "diets" -- just keeping track of calories and making physical activity a daily part of living.9

I have a whole bunch of goals i hope to gradually meet as I move through my journey. I'm hoping to lose enough to have my knee surgery. I'd like to get down to 200 by xmas. I'd like to be lighter than my partner. I'd like to go on a plane and not feel like i'm stuck in the seat. I'd like to be able to wear bathers again, they don't make them in my size where i live. I'd like to be able to run again and i think a bigger goal for me would be to be able to lift 100lbs.4

I just started over again, and made nearly 40 mini goals, and 128 NSV to hit! Today I hit my goal for "No longer Morbidly Obese!" Which is super great! Next up is to hit my weight from the start of the summer before going on a long work trip where I gained a lot of weight, and then a more important 5% lost goal. Feeling pretty good about it actually
Congrats on hitting this goal.2 -
Would like to be at the bottom of my happy weight range (125-129) on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Trip to Costa Rica at the end of January and trip to Palm Springs in mid-February. I went to Vegas a week ago and was at 126 when I went and when I got back. It is pretty easy to be at that weight with focus.

Was very successful for the months of August and September. And am below my lowest in probably 18 years, spitting distance from a healthy BMI as well.
New mini-goals: 1) sticking to the plan for the whole month of October; 2) losing another 5 lbs and getting under 160.
Oct went very well, I had a handful of bad days, but with all that I am a healthy BMI and below 160 and less than 5 lbs from my final goal!
Next mini-goal, stick to my goal of no sweets until Thanksgiving.9 -
Going to try and make 10 thousand steps each day this week. Last week and week before was 8800 and 9100 average per day per week.3
-
My other mini-goal is to get back to some exercise other than walking. For some reason I've gotten out of the habit in the last couple of months and I want to get back to some higher intensity aerobic exercise and a bit of strength-related stuff. I don't know what's stopping me so my goal is to work through that mental hurdle and get back on track.
