As long as you add “Instagram” in front of a noun, it automatically reduces the value of the noun. EG “Instagram model”, “Instagram photographer”, “Instagram poems”.

    Instagram story.

    This.

And if, in your Instagram profile you identify as an "influencer" you most likely are not, but are using the paltfrom to hockcrap that won't sell in regular stores.

I wonder if people who live in colder climates complain about their comparatively mildly hot summers as much as a lot of people where I'm from (me included) complain about our comparatively mild winters?

Girls don't compliment guys because they're likely to take it non-platonically, guys take it non-platonically because it happens so infrequently they don't know how to handle it.

I only compliment guys to whom I mean it platonically. You’re wonderful

I just woke from a nap and I dreamed that MFP had its own music channel with music produced only by MFP members. And there were some good tunes and talented people.

For those who have started and actually finished a major home renovation, at what point does it start to look more like an improvement and less like I'm just destroying my house?

That's what I was afraid of (sigh)

HAaahha I get this! Part of my house looks like I went apeshiiit with a chainsaw; I have only completed one room out of five :| Hang in there...

We aren't really going room at a time so much as project at a time. Painting, counters, backsplashes, floors, building new built in furniture, etc. So pretty much everything is a MESS! I got to rip off all my quarter round off the baseboards which was kind of fun but followed that with having to sand and paint baseboards, crown, and all other trim. That wasn't fun...
We are using a jack hammer, well DH says it's actually a demo hammer so now we get to make lots of noise and annoy the neighbors while we destroy the house. Fun stuff but should be worth it if we ever finish.

There needs to be an app where you can invite an anonymous neutral third party when having an argument.

Agreeing to terms and conditions went from: "this is our stuff, don’t copy and sell it" to "this is your stuff, we’ll copy and sell it”.

I had a website called Go Scratch Your *kitten*

We could have combined and had "Go Scratch Your Argle-Bargle".

I just used the word “eschewing” in a sentence- correctly I think- without knowing how to pronounce it. Is it like eschatology? I used to say that one wrong.

    A true Chrono-Synclastic Infundibulum place.

I always thought of it as a sneeze...like "Esschew!"...God bless you.

I’ve never read Vonnegut. Should I?

    The answer is always yes.
