Too impatient to wait 6 months to get my body to where I want it. Got a prescription to testosterone oil (injections). Cant wait to see my body transform.

I miss driving a roadster in cold weather. Windows up, top down, heat blasting on feet and being pulled past your face. Having to drive fast enough in snow storms to make sure the pressure bubble in the cabin keeps the snow out. Laughing at yourself when you get stuck at a light and the snow dumps on you. I think I need to do some shopping.

Ive not had the motivation to log into MFP community anymore. Found Jym Army on facebook groups while supplement shopping and its been keeping me distracted. Not sure if Ill come back here.

Just cut my hair and trimmed my beard today. I look like Im in my 20s again. I should do this more often. I shoukd also wear compression clothing more often. It gives me good lines.

Report back on how the testosterone goes I guess it’s a form it TRT?

Yep TRT. Starting with injections out of pocket at $42/week. I should be able to use my FSA for reimbursement.

Plan to try bio-identical pellets at the new year. Works the opposite of injections. Injections give a spike at time of application and then the body uses it over the week and the test levels lower making you need a new application weekly. The pellets are measured to give you a controlled release and inserted into the fatty tissue around your hip, so you keep your levels as they dissolve over a 6 month period. $750 for the procedure every 6 months, so a bit cheaper than injections. Should also be covered by my fsa and Ill save even more from not having to drive to my providers office weekly.

Goal is to have test level sitting between 900-1100

Good luck to you, and happy trails! Congrats on your success, and happy car shopping :-)

Thank you. I think I found a convertible already while stopping by someones house to check out another car for a friend. Turns out the dudes dad just happened to have something I liked. lol

So figure I'd stop by and give up update on TRT for those that might be interested. I didn't realize how cheap it can be out of pocket. I was under the impression it was $40 something a week for the prescription and I was required to have my provider inject it which would be another weekly copay since she's a specialist.

Welp, I found a month supply of testosterone oil for only $26. I found a GoodRX discount to make it $10 total. And turns out I don't need to have the provider inject it - I can do it myself. It's super simple and $10 a month out of pocket for the prescription + cost of the needles/syringes. If you have an FSA, you can also put this on your FSA to save another 22-30% from taxes/benefits.

Let us know - if you are happy with the results - what kind of workout split are you doing - are you also tracking protein intake and what not ?

Since this is my first time ever doing it, I'm being weened onto it with 50mg a week to make sure I don't have any adverse reactions. I think after the first month, I'll be upping the dose to 150mg a week depending on blood pressure and such, and then look at increasing again if I want. Will do another blood test after 3-4 months to check levels of everything and decide where I should be at.

I already have somewhat of a routine worked out for my diet that has been working very well. I'll just continue it until I drop another 10 pounds which is my end goal, and then I'll switch up to gains only.

    Current Diet Cycle:
2 weeks eating at maintenance - 2800 to 2200 calories depending on if its a lifting day. Make sure to meet all macro goals.
2 weeks in a heavy calorie deficit - 1500 to 1300 calories and just focusing on making protein goals
    Exercise:
While on maintenance - 5x5 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and combining it with cardio and abs.
While on deficit - Athlean X program to work with lighter weights and focusing where 5x5 doesn't.

    Future Diet Cycle:
2 weeks maintenance - focus on recomposition of any remaining fat
3-4 weeks lean gains - can't give any estimate on calories because I'll be stacking my MMA sessions on top of lifting since TRT will give me more endurance. May have to double my calories by then.

I wish Walmart would actually return some items I want to return.

I mean, I still get the refund but they don't want the items back so now I have a too small wallet, a tank top (it was a experiement...not something I'd usually wear but I wanted something for summer I could wear inside so my hair didn't keep tickling my back as it fell out :)), and a couple pairs of sweats which actually fit really well EXCEPT around the waist where there's a this huge gap in the front.

You know how when you have a box of assorted chocolates, how fun it is to decide which one you’re going to eat this time!

I wanna do that with a box of donuts.
I am jonesin’ for sugar. Ugh! πŸ€€πŸ˜‘

i need a hug and some sweet words and legal way to get more energy

{hug} you’re one of the smartest, most creative, interesting, and sweetest people I know. I enjoy having you around. Have you ever tried a steady stream of caffeinated beverages together with checking a small task off your to do list and large gulping breaths out of doors?

My coffee shop barista, a nice lady who has poured me the same Americano for 2 years, actually had my coffee ready and waiting for me when I arrived this morning. I love it when good people surprise me. :)

I frequented the same sushi place for many years. The owner and staff always gave me the employee discount of 30% and never charged for alcohol. Regardless, I would usually order about $100+ each time I visited and tip the staff the 30% that I was discounted. Owner sold the restaurant a few months ago and all the staff rotated out as well. Good bye favorite sushi place. -_-
