Sara, I got a 2019 new Subaru Crosstrek. She is blue and has all of those new safety/idiot-helping features to help keep me out of trouble. I am very grateful to have this car now.

Lana - does your car have the button where you can talk to someone?

Sara - It has that capability in the car, and I signed up for three years of the service. Two different buttons: one for car emergencies (ran out of gas) and one for personal emergencies (having a heart attack).

The pricing was really strange: one year was $50 (fine), 2 years was $100 (fine), and 3 years was $150 (fine), but 4 years was $300, and the prices went more and more expensive as the number of years increased. It's as if they were corralling the buyer to choose only 1, 2, or 3 years. I wonder how common that is.

I will catch up on posts... had to Uninstall and re install MFP ..grrr...

We lost our girl, yesterday. She was just done. It was too much of a struggle for her to do anything. I am so numb. My heart hurts so bad. Life will never be the same. Hug your babies... Thank you all for your kind words. You all mean so much to me.

Dawn you are a good parent to you dogs, you knew it was best to let go. Some people cant at the expense of the animal (I bet you see it at work). You have 2 dogs? Hug the other one if so. Be kind to yourself and its one day at a time kind of thing.

Warm here window open and fan on. Will look to see what I can binge watch this weekend.

Miss T has stinky face at the moment, if I could wash her face I would..... but I will make sure she gets her hugs.

    Wishing all a good night.

    SATURDAY

    Good morning,

Trying to make meal plans and then realized a good part of last week's cooking never got eaten.

Pulled out my "Are you being served?" series. Half hour BBC from the 1970's fun.

Before I started this job I had to pass Federal Inspection and if I can find the paperwork it lists company, address, phone#, supervisor and dates worked. Makes filling out State application a lot easier. Hope to start that this weekend as well.

Wave to all who follow. If you dont come back until Monday = Happy Easter.

Did 2 big things today, started my state application and called lady I know at place I can work to see if I can get help applying (what job etc) and she called me back almost immediately. I told her who I was gave her my phone # and apologized for taking so long to contact her. I am to call her in 2 weeks to meet for coffee so I can get some more inside info.

Things turn/change when they need to for a reason.

Hot shower, wash dishes and call it a night.

    Wishing all a good night.

    SUNDAY

    Good morning, Happy Easter.

Leftover pizza from last night (frozen pizza) and making orange chicken (not breaded) with rice - this should tie me over through mid week.

Dog up early, I have to call vet to see when I can bring her in, she is due for her monthly visit. She gets a little lethargic and wakes me up in the middle of the night.

Wave to all who follow. BBL hoping for some more zzzz.

    Happy Easter, all!

Not much to report on my end. Still waiting on that last pound to leave for my 60 lb benchmark. After thay, on to dumping the next 60.

Enjoy your day today! @suzu_2 looks like we are to have a perfect spring day in our neck of the woods. I might get out of bed long enough to see some of it..

Thank you Sara. We actually have 2 more dogs. They've been getting lots and lots of love. It's still so hard to accept.

Good luck with the job hunt. Hope the state thing works out for you.

Thank you. Knowing she's not suffering, is only thing that makes it "ok" just can't get used to her not being around. Keep wanting to look or call for her. She was something special for sure. Hugs

Happy Easter! Beautiful day here. Not quite motivated to do anything. Went back to Mennonite stores, yesterday. They have some really great deals on tons of great stuff! Decided to grab one of their deli subs... WOW! That was delicious! Fresh fixins..as opposed to franchises that use pre pkg meats and unripe veggies... was a nice day to be out and about..

Oh for those 50% off easter chocolates. Not for me today.

They are having a farmer's market tomorrow in my company's parking lot - with any luck to promote better eating. Bought strawberries at asian store but they are too acidic day after day so I might gift them.

I have 3 state exams I would like to take but there are none "open" to take, will keep looking.

Phone call to pcp tomorrow, hope it is something not terribly complicated. We shall see.

Curling up with dog and dvd Mrs Slocumbe's kitten time.

    Wishing all a good night.

Late signing in today. Big Easter. Lots of family and long day cooking. WAY too much food. Will be wiring my jaws shut for the next week.
Yep Twiley, you are right. This was just perfect weather.

I bit the bullet yesterday and signed a lease on a stall at an antique mall close to the house. Moving in next weekend. This is exciting, but :o:o:o .... Lord, I may need a nerve pill - Lol

    MONDAY

    Good morning,

0 weight gain/loss for me those weeks are victories as well.

Usually Easter week is full of chocolate bunnies, and eggs made of variations of chocolate, that I have left them alone is a large victory.

Why I cant sleep well on a Sunday night? Will hope for more before dog walk.

Lurking as I wander through today. Wave to all who follow.

    Good morning, all!

I felt icky yesterday so I did not food prep for the week. Headed to Walmart for tuna, avocados, lettuce, and broccoli for this week's lunches (at least through Wednesday). Why is this significant? I never even thought about the 50% candy. Never crossed my mind until you mentioned it. MAJOR victory! I rarely even think about candy any more.

It does help that I had the best cheesecake with strawberries over the weekend. And it was within my way of eating because I made it myself. lowcarbyum.com has the best recipe for keto cheesecake.

Hoping everyone has a wonderful Monday!

Good Morning! Caught up this AM on posts.
Dawn - I am late, but so very sorry. One day at a time. Take care of yourself!
Lana - 2019?!?! wowee! Awesome car. Glad you are happy with it.
Sara - Good luck with the work situation. If you are productive with one screen - why do they even care?
Suzu - congrats! very exciting. LOVE antiques. We bought an old place a couple years ago and renovated the home. There is an old shed that had mostly junk in it. 2nd floor really was not stable to go up there. Well something caught my eye and I ventured. found an old wooden ironing board. With the slots to fold up. I am going to try and redo it somehow. The top part is worn, but leg wood is perfect!
Twiley- congrats on no 50% easter candy! (:
Hello Missy - love the bitten off ear on your pic.
Waves to all who pass through.
