Hello everyone, thank you for all your kind welcomes. I am working on trying to limit myself to one desert or soda a day. Did it for a week then dropped the ball. Starting over today.

Good Day, All!
Lana, I have an online blog (anonymous) where I keep my life experiences.....including panic attacks. I have been doing this for nearly 30 years, since my divorce …hard to believe. It's not a daily thing....maybe once a month. It's interesting though....rereading my earliest entries shows how I am not the same person now as I was then.
@Empress62 , Did I miss your original post or did I just forget I saw it? Don't mind me....I have that Sumtimers. 😆
I try to do the same with desserts but am not always successful. We are only human after all. Good luck with your efforts! And keep posting!
This cold weather has got to GO! Some areas actually got snow! I know April is a transition month but COME ON!!! Transition already!
Had some if my shrimp and pasta for lunch. Not sure about dinner yet. But I remembered to take my pills...usually I forget and don't take them till dinner.
Still making my free giveaways...this is my latest....
I found some new patterns I will try…one is a little baseball cap keychain. And in between I am still working on afghans. This cold weather makes crocheting easy.
Keep smiling!
Sandy

Good Morning!
🎼🎶 The sun is shining, c'mon get happy...🎶
I have some errands to run after lunch so I will get some steps in. Might get a salad out as a treat on the way home.
My son called me yesterday...his mother-in-law is dying. That was a shock. Seems her kidneys are shutting down and there is nothing they can do for her. Diabetes related.....she wasn't taking care of herself. Its a shame. I don't understand how you can take Diabetes so casually. I don't want to die before my time.
Till tomorrow....

Good Morning!
Hey....hope you are all doing ok. ❤️
Finally got my CGM's yesterday so now I know what my blood sugar is, although I have gotten pretty good at estimating at how much insulin I need for each meal.
I also started leaving some of my "gifts" around. Whether or not I will know if they were found is anyone's guess since no one is obligated to say. I'll have to wait and see.
I skipped the salad yesterday but may go for it today. I was a little snacky last night but not too much.
TTFN...

Hello
Went to dr apt-now I have a colonoscopy referral. Part of me is regretting going…
Have tomorrow off-facial and lunch with 95 or old church buddy. Also tackling the rest of bedroom mess.
Sandy- glad you keep a diary- panic attacks are no fun.
Lana good for you getting NYC place in motion- juggling so many balls is exhausting.
Nap time here
Wishing all a good evening. Stay safe and safe out there.

Good Late Morning!
Thanks, Lana! I am looking forward to hitting the 160's again....its been awhile.
Sara, thanks! And yeah...the test is important, although I don't envy you. I did Cologuard the last time because of my panic attacks...I just couldn't face the other. Silly, but that's me. At least my Dr. was understanding about it.
Saw the SO for the first time in about month (he's still recovering from cancer surgery) and he noticed my weight loss....that felt good. When other people can see it, it affirming. My clothes are starting to fit looser, too. Time to purge my closet again soon.
I broke down and got new test strips and new control solution for my blood glucose meter. I needed to see the difference between my CGM and and an actual blood reading. Results were very close (CGM'S run behind a blood glucose meter by about 15 minutes or so) so I am pleased about that. But $40 out of pocket for me is a lot. Still, it was necessary. The control solution only lasts 6 months and I may not need it again before it expires.
Had cottage cheese and an English muffin for breakfast. Lunch/dinner will be leftover shrimp/pasta again.
Till next time,
Sandy

Good morning All~~
Sandy - you are reminding me that I should pick up some cottage cheese today. Ricotta is good to have around too— either is a good way to add protein to whatever we're eating.
Today is travel day, and I cannot wait to be back home.
Wishing everyone a good day today 🌸

Guten Morgan!
Lana, oh yeah! Ricotta....yum! Safe travels!
Food will be the same today except last night I had a package of Reese's cups....haven't had them in years! But they are smaller and much more manageable calorie and carbwise, so I could fit it in.
It's tough facing these rainy, cloudy days that seem endless. I really need more of a break than one day out of 7...especially when the temps are like winter.
Gotta take my pills now. Till tomorrow. ..
Sandy
