    6 years of no official dates, and no official boyfriend. Although I had guys ask me out during that time at random places like gas stations ... Lowe's (3-4 times)... once at Chuck E Cheese... stuff like that... and they seriously meant to start up conversations and ask me out but I always got kind of weirded out that someone would just walk up to me and start up an awkward conversation that led to.... you seeing anyone? Once I said 'no' they would keep trying to chat and get my phone number or give me theirs... I never gave mine out and I never called anyone that gave me theirs. I was hurt really badly by the ex husband and just felt I didn't want to waste my time and possibly end up in that situation again. So... yea... 6 purposeful years.

    edit: i realise that sounds really sad, kinda is. its not that i want to be alone but i dont want to be with the wrong person either. better alone than in the wrong company. :)
