    On the struggle bus this morning. Its been an amazingly stressful week. work is insane. I saw my ex for the first time in months yesterday and I am ripped apart and was not expecting that.
    BUT - I am happy to see that other people doing this challenge are having good solid losses this week. Congrats! I am truly happy for everyone! but sometimes, I can't help but compare how I am doing to what others are achieving and get discouraged /disappointed and hard on myself. I was losing 2+ a week for quite a while and now, its been so hard. I can't help but feel like I will never meet a reasonable goal, like getting to "overweight" rather than "severely obese". At this point, I'll take just plain old "obese". I know that I need to keep on keepin' on, that's what it takes, but I am not motivated to do anything. I will try.

    MY STARTING WEIGHT: 239.7lbs (3/15/2016)

    Week four weigh in:
    8/1/16: 210 lbs - I am at the beach- on vacation-not being as strict as I should be-lets see what next week brings
    8/8/16: 213.6 - Dang! pretty bad. today I will get back on it. lets see if I can get the momentum going again.
    8/15/16: 208.8 - :smile: met a teeny tiny goal of breaking 210.
    8/22/16: 208 - this is me happy with a small loss, rather than a small gain :smile:
    8/29/16: 203 - :blush: beyond pleased. just need to keep it going.
    9/5/16: 202.6 - small loss is better than stuck or gaining. I'll take it.
    9/12/16: 201.6 - trying to be happy I didn't have a gain this week.

    I'm sorry to see you had a rough week @poppigirl Trust me the struggle is the same here, seeing many of you are losing multiple pounds in a week while I'm lucky if I'm down 200 grams. I'm truly happy and super excited for the "losers" but at the same time can't help but wonder when I will achieve my goal I'm constantly hungry already lol

    @narak_lol and @poppigirl - don't give up! This is HARD! I struggled with the scale going the wrong direction for YEARS, even though I was eating relatively well (most of the time) and exercising. I lost count of how many times I gave up, gave in, and then started over again. It's so frustrating - but you can do it! A loss is still a loss, no matter how small. And there could be other NSVs that you don't readily see (clothes fitting better, more energy, even something as simple as it becoming a habit to make a healthier choice. Exercise that will power. Shake things up a bit and surprise that pesky scale - give it no choice but to give in to your efforts.

    @poppigirl ... you're almost in Onederland, you're doing awesome!

    It's been a long journey and struggle with being obese, but now I'm closer than ever to my goals! After yo-yo'ing for 4 years (+/- 40-50 lb swings), I decided enough was enough. Switched to keto, dropped from 254 to 184 in 1H'15, then maintained with a goal of under 200 for a year to get the body used to maintaining rather than swinging. I started counting calories and recently started tracking protein intake and doing heavy lifting while training for the Richmond Half in November in July.
