The ups and downs of weight! I'm still not working out but I was able to start walking and on Sunday I was able to use some stairs slowly. My constipation abated and probably my muscles are giving up some glyocogen after a two week rest. Losing a couple liters of water isn't very much for someone that is over 80kg. (1 liter of water weights 1kg, isn't the metric system nice?) Water tends to make up about 2/3 of our weight.2 -

MY STARTING WEIGHT: 239.7lbs (3/15/2016)
This challenge has been super helpful in keeping me motivated. I love checking back during the week as more people log in their successes and challenges. Everyone is sticking with it and most are making great strides. I am baffled (and happily amazed) by those who consistently log 2-3-4 pound losses week after week. I have no idea how they are doing it. I'm like: what's your secret? I think It's my age and metabolism, but I am steadily seeing results, so, I am good with that. I feel for those people who sometimes gain- just want to tell you all that its just a bad week. keep going. don't give up. its a slow process and I know, everyone wants to see results quicker - but sticking with it that's the key. you can do it.
About my week: Still struggling with a downward mid-set- life has been difficult lately, but the focus on my weight/ health has been helpful. sometimes its good for me to find something to control as life spins out. I yesterday I put ankle weights on as I cleaned the house and I swear I am feeling sore this morning. I think I will keep them out and use them when I go on my walks today.
Week ten weigh in:
8/1/16: 210 lbs - I am at the beach- on vacation-not being as strict as I should be-lets see what next week brings
8/8/16: 213.6 - Dang! pretty bad. today I will get back on it. lets see if I can get the momentum going again.
8/15/16: 208.8 - met a teeny tiny goal of breaking 210.
8/22/16: 208 - this is me happy with a small loss, rather than a small gain
8/29/16: 203 - beyond pleased. just need to keep it going.
9/5/16: 202.6 - small loss is better than stuck or gaining. I'll take it. 9/12/16: 201.6 - trying to be happy I didn't have a gain this week.
9/19/16: 199.6 - rough week at work, at play and on my heart.
9/26/16: 198.2 - its finally sinking in that I have broken the 200 mark
10/3/16: 196.5 - I have safely maintained under 200 pounds for a few weeks, and I am pretty sure it's not a fluke. feeling good about meeting that milestone.

I've been AWOL for a few weeks and it's a long story but basically I'm back and ready to kick the butt of these last few pounds!
Feeling much better after finally being treated for anemia and feel like I have the energy and motivation to get back on the weight loss train. I'm also not doing intermittent fasting at the moment and have kicked most of the caffeine from my diet. Feeling great overall!
