I am starting this a little late in the month...I would like to join now and make my goal 10 hours on my spin bike; it doesn't have a meter. I have 3 hours and twenty mins. as of today on my bike and 6 hours walking.3

Had intended to go walking on Saturday after cleaning, but my friend worked out before visiting, so we didn't go. Oh well. Hopefully the weather cooperates this week so I can get some paddling in, though it looks like it might be a bit rainy...sigh.

(I have eaten so much this holiday month that there is little doubt I have put on weight. A fair chunk no doubt. But, and it is a big but, I have done a lot more excercise - and I will go back to self control next month. Honest! Quite a few of my 350 plus calorie burn days have been full on, and I have another weekend of cycling coming up. So I have been celebrating feeling less ill I guess! )

My motivation was in the toilet again today...but figured I could up my time/distance on my glider. Should make the second walking/glider goal, but not sure I'll make the SUP goal at this point. We'll see if I am up to paddling tomorrow or over the weekend.

We've been training for this for the past two months and chose this particular one because it fit in our schedules and was relatively flat. We started strongly, but at the 200 km point, I broke a tooth (the tooth was in questionable condition to begin with) which made the remaining 200 km a little more challenging than I had hoped. Breathing through my mouth was painful, so I was reduced to breathing through my nose. And eating was painful, so I ran rather low on energy. I was hoping to finish within 24 hours, but I guess an extra 45 minutes wasn't too bad.
We rolled into the start location at 7:45 am on Sunday.

We've been training for this for the past two months and chose this particular one because it fit in our schedules and was relatively flat. We started strongly, but at the 200 km point, I broke a tooth (the tooth was in questionable condition to begin with) which made the remaining 200 km a little more challenging than I had hoped. Breathing through my mouth was painful, so I was reduced to breathing through my nose. And eating was painful, so I ran rather low on energy. I was hoping to finish within 24 hours, but I guess an extra 45 minutes wasn't too bad.
We rolled into the start location at 7:45 am on Sunday.

Aug 16 - 3 km walking (35 min) ... to the beach and back to stretch things out.
