    The 22 Pushup Challenge

It's a good cause but I personally, I wouldn't count the 22 because they are NOT full range of motion pushups. The arms are hardly bent on the decline and the chest never hits the ground. The upper arms should parallel the floor and chest should hit the ground at the bottom.

I know everyone is just doing what they want to do and it's kind of late in the game, but here's what a full pushup should look like and how it should be done:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IODxDxX7oi4

Take it for what it's worth to you but, if you are not doing this, you simply are not doing a full pushup.

I'm 65 and I'm doing the full plank as shown in the video I can do 20 of these at a time; sometimes 25 but that's more of a struggle. Need at least 3-5min rest between sets to continue doing them at that rate. It's not easy and it's not supposed to be.

    Just saying . . .

I wonder how many pushups (push-ups, push ups) the 2016 Olympic weightlifters can do.

It's been a struggle this week with all the other exercises that I've been doing but I did 100 pushups today for 2000 to date. 5 days & 500 to go.

You are correct. They weren't push-ups, with the full range of motion. And they needed to be 22 full correct push-ups.
