The Sack Fumble... 🤔
Is it a sack, or a fumble... Because by definition, it can not be both...
If it's a sack, there is no fumble because you are already down...
If it's a fumble, then it can't be a sack because you were never down1 -

A sack is a tackle of the QB behind the line of scrimmage, a sack fumble is a tackle of the QB behind the line of scrimmage in which the QB loses possession of the ball. The term sack is used to indicate its involving a QB, and its behind the line of scrimmage. So it can be used alone or as a preface to another action. Now you dont have to think of that anymore......lol3 -

But here's where I'm perplexed...
Is a sack awarded to the defender in the case of a sack fumble...
I guess not because it's a "sack fumble" and not a "sack"1 -

You are correct. With a sack fumble, the
word sack is just an adjective describing what type of fumble......behind the line of scrimmage by a QB3 -
