@sweet_ermengarde your current PP and username are great but I look forward to any update you end up with!

I’d have been gone from the boat when they did this but this would have been cool to do.

ROTFLMAO. Not me but I wish I was there. I was the decdiv lpo so probably would have been the first person topside.

That was a minute or two after I got out but that was my last boat.

Dates seem to be off though. Maybe a stock picture?

I just ate some southern style crumbed chicken, it was delicious but I wish you could just buy the coating. I eat that off and leave most of the chicken :D

The woman in the triad says, not always. I work better in multiple partner relationships. We're a family, we three, and we love and support each other.
  • The crickets have started to come in the house. Fortunately, the cats think they are self-propelled toys that also taste great. I wish they'd up their patrols because the stinkers are LOUD.

I found a quilt I was making and am thinking about getting it out again and working on it. It would be nice to finish it.

Has anyone here had a dog that likes chewing his paws? I’ve read lots on the subject now about allergies and the number one thing that comes up is poultry in the food they eat causing issues. The first thing a vet would do ( in this sitch )is recommend a fish based diet. I transitioned Dasher to Acana, a very high quality fish based food. Only three weeks ago. Also, I give him a probiotic treat twice a day to boost immune system. Please don’t respond with, “take him to the vet” because that’s just obnoxious! I’m asking YOU if you’ve had this issue and if you’ve had success figuring out the issue on your own. Maybe someone here has dealt with this issue on their own and had success. I notice SOME improvements with the diet change but his paws look kinda red still and maybe there’s a Salve I can try?? Thank you for your whole-hearted helpful advice and not some judgy Tirade, 😁

@steph6556 Probiotics are one the best things for dogs. It helps them so much. Their lil digestive systems need it. My vet is one of the best equine specialists in the west. I'll float you a line on your newsfeed.

"If your pet is biting, chewing, licking their paws constantly, it's likely they're trying to soothe themselves. When a dog is hurt, its first instinct is often to clean and care for the wound. Cuts are more obvious, however, sometimes the pain can be internal."

I wonder about people who are always talking on the phone. People will have a Bluetooth in and talking to someone the entire shift! Idk I think my record was six hours and the conversation was not riveting. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My oldest son hasn't been home for a visit in 10 months. It's been hard to be away from him during this pandemic. I miss him terribly. He finally has been able to schedule a quick trip him in November. Please don't let covid or anything else screw this up.

Fingers crossed it all goes well 🤞

Have you been able to video chat? I know :( It's not the same at all. My 3 kids live away from home and we've only seen 1 of them in person since Christmas. And now my youngest is thinking about not flying home for this Christmas either. :(

I hope and pray your ds make it home for his visit next month!!!!

Covid bites, for many many reasons. :(

Funny how some people remain in your heart long after you part ways.

Hope your life is what you wanted it to be.

So true... some people are just hard to forget.

This hurts my heart imagining not seeing one of my kids for that long. I hope he makes it home!

Is it too early to put the christmas tree up even if the Halloween decorations are up? I was too sick to celebrate Christmas last year so I'm kind of excited for it this year. If it can bring joy into this *kitten* year, why not?
