What's on your mind?

^ I stand corrected and will own my eff up too.
But, anyone who makes someone regretful for trying to be better I will stand by my statement.
I’m sorry if I misunderstood.
Which I did. Eff me.
Sorry. I’ll go back to my hole.7 -

Tman... Never hide. You are a kind person who reaches out to protect people in need. You saw a need and you reached out in defence. That's awesome in my book.5 -

People here only make me feel worse about what I look like and how I feel about myself.
I'm having a really hard time wrapping my mind around this comment. Like @iMago used to say
"Just walk away" 😑
Wait, did he disappear while I was turned around??1 -

When I posted that I didn't want a bunch of feel-good platitudes, what I was hoping was for some hard-*kitten* to tell me to stop whining. "Tough love." I also liked you saying I shouldn't post here, though I'm guessing that was some sort of reverse psychology.
I honestly think you're asking a lot from a bunch of internet strangers that know absolutely nothing about you. We are not therapists, we're mostly cheerleaders.
Good luck on your journey. I hope you find what it is you need within yourself. Behind that anger is most likely a very broken person....I've been that person.
I agree. Thanks for being honest. I've been told before that I expect too much from people. I'm just surprised that the cheerleading works for a lot of people. It may work for me a little bit, but if I were to say "I lost 10 lbs" and get 30 thumbs-up for it, it wouldn't make any difference in how I felt about it.
I’m not sure how people here have responded to you but that aside and in general.. I don’t like the cheerleading either, I mean the ones that comes off so super pretentious and over the top. It’s like small talk to me- people just talking for the sake of talking so pointless.

Trends are so funny, one day we’re trying to have the “perfect” shaped eyebrows, the next trend is the complete opposite. One extreme to the other.

In all honesty, my eyes went first to the freckles, then to the eyes, then to the lips. Even on second look, eyebrows weren't a big deal.3

Going on vacation today. Hopefully a break from my drinking will set a foundation for February and beyond.4

Today is Wayne Gretzky's birthday.

Enjoy yourself. As for the drinking, sobriety is the best gift I've ever given myself. You can do it if your plan is to stop drinking. It definitely won't be easy but you deserve to do that for yourself.9 -
It’s the season.
I’m smelling the farmers spreading manure.
No chicken *kitten* so it still smells wonderful.1 -

You can spend them on rewards, like hotel points. I've used mine for golf balls for my daughter and an air fryer and a steam mop. The steam mop was back ordered due to covid, but it finally showed up and it's great!
Sad to see my points balance go down, but worth it.4 -

I dunno but I'd hand over at least that many points for all your amazing PPs.1 -

I don't want people to tell me I look awesome how I am (I don't even have any real pix posted here). I don't want to hear how brave and strong and great I am because if I was that way, I wouldn't be this overweight. I don't want people to give me platitudes about "each journey starts with a single step", even though I acknowledge they mean well and want to encourage me.
I haven't completely given up on myself, but is there a corner in MFP for jaded/cynical people who don't like or respond to "you can do it!" messages from strangers or about how it's wrong to lose weight before you date because The Right Person Will See Your Inner Beauty and Will Not Care What You Look Like Because Only Shallow People Who Are Not Worth Your Time Do That?
I feel this at my core. People will never understand that we don't see ourselves as others do. And, no amount of compliments or good will from others will change our opinions.4 -

It's been 2 months that I haven't eaten any meat and all day today I was craving for bacon 😆
