Late to start trying to lose weight. I've never had a weight problem, then menopause set in... pretty early. Poof, I was up 30 pounds and completely miserable. So, now I'm doing this.

    Morning,
I’m 42 mum of 2 boys (9 and 12)and I’m one of those who feels like they are “forever trying to lose weight” tbh I would only like to lose about 9/10lb and keep it off AND lose the belly fat but I’m rubbish at staying motivated 😡😡😡

Hi all. 41, decided to change my life after a severe bout of depression. Have lost 25lbs so far and hoping to keep going!

Hi folks. So I am generally meeting my calorie goal each day but always go way over on sodium. Should I be worried?

Have you checked the foods you're eating and ticked "Sodium" as one of your tracked nutrients? I usually toggle sugar off/on when I need to check on sodium and others, as sugar is more of a concern for me after the big ones I track.

Also, since this is the introduction board. Howdy all! Day 32 of constant login and tracking here. 25Lbs down, so feelin' pretty good. Quite a bit to go, but hopefully I'll get there. Hope everyone is having a good day.

    Another nice loss 👍
Consistent logging will help you keep the eye on the prize.

Well at least you're now aware of it and you can maybe start looking at what things are high in sodium and find an alternative.

    Good afternoon middle agers ☺

Would like to have some friends on here to help keep motivation going. Struggle at times to kick my own butt into the gym. Feel free to add and make training more enjoyable for us all.

Hello Friday Eve - time to have a great day, as we should be having everyday.

Thought of the Day: Persist - we've all heard that it always gets worse before it gets better, our job is to KEEP GOING!!! With that being said..... let's get moving and keep going.

Hello everyone! Just got back into the gym after a break of several years. I turn 40 next February, and I intend to be healthy and in shape when I get there, lol!

    It's almost Friday!
Hope all the middle agers are achieving goals and happy with their progress.
I'm off to an appointment for my mom at the hospital. Will there be parking? Will I get trapped behind a streetcar on the way there? It's like playing the lottery.

    Have a fantastic day all.

I’m 36 y/o and owe my 12.8kg (28lb) weight loss (so far…) to a combination of calisthenics, intermittent fasting, and a considerable amount of discipline! Since January this year I’ve gone from 93.7kg to 80.9kg, and feel mentally and physically stronger than ever before, but my fitness journey is only beginning! Let’s support each other on our journeys to becoming the best version of ourselves. If you’re serious about your journey, feel free to add me.

Happy Thursday. Eating well, weight down, stopped tracking and using intuition on portion size, good workouts yesterday. Trying not to blow it. Carpe Diem.
