He was mean to my dog when he thought I was not looking

Good riddance, that's a red flag for an abuser or a future domestic disturbance.

I think it's less about treating people like they are disposable things, and more about personal preferences that you can live with for a lifetime. A minor thing that bugs you in the beginning could turn into a major deal breaker 10 years down the road (IE not liking dogs). Or it's just a sign of incompatibility with personalities. That being said, when you quit dating someone because of (X, Y, Z) small thing you just can't get past I feel they should be let down easy and with dignity. As far as looks go, I'm all for overlooking flaws over a great personality, but being able to be sexually attracted to who you're with is very important in my book. There's a somebody for everybody.

If he has a name for his penis.
If he refers to his balls as "the boys".
    and
If he refers to his car as "she".

What if I, I mean this guy called his breast "the twins?"

To me this isn’t petty but it can be viewed as petty I’m assuming. Poor hygiene, such as long toe nails that look blackish.

    Not petty...truly revolting

ladies- what if your man treats you good, keeps his place clean, cooks for you, goes for walks, goes dancing, likes to make you laugh...but one day you come out of the bathroom and catch him taking $20 out of your purse. what would you do? asking for a friend

Beat his *kitten*. Unless of course he put it there.

It's not petty, it's one of THE main dealbreakers in dating these days. I'm only 172cm (just shy of 5ft 8) and I've spent years being rejected by women even under 5'0"

This one may have already been addressed but . . . horrible body odor.

ETA: I once dated a guy who showered quite frequently but he still had the rankest BO. I couldn't stand it.
