Did Denise Austin's quick Burn Cardio DVD. The plan for tomorrow is to do Micah Hudson's Quick Fit DVD.
It's snowing here so all of Hickory is shut down. This always happens.
SuebDew - most hsopitals will take magazines. I give mine to a lady who takes them to the local hospital to put in their waiting rooms
M - I'm the same way as far as sleep. Put me in front of the TV, and I'm out. Same with reading in bed. Sometimes even when I'm in the chair...lol. Oh, I make lists for almost everything. Unless, that is, there's only one or two things on the list. Even then, if it's more than one thing, I'm better off writing it down
Joyce - my heart is breaking for you.
janetr - I'm so sorry about your sister. I remember seeing pictures of her
Those grandkids are absolutely precious
Lisa - you have such a great way with words. It IS about love
Cheri - happy 29th birthday!
drkatiebug - condolences on your mother's brother
Kim - Vince refuses to let a gym take the membership out of our bank account. He absolutely refuses to do it and I can't say that I blame him one bit. Hope you find a yoga class that meets your requirements
pip - I always said that Bryan and Denise (when they were younger) had two things in common --- their parents and their last name.
It's snowing here. Vince and I went out to shovel (in NC!!!!) and we must have had about 4 inches and it's still snowing. Not heavily, and we'll probably get another inch or two. Our driveway is shoveled, but nothing's been done to the street. I'm supposed to volunteer at the Green Room tomorrow. Somehow I doubt I'll be going. It's supposed to get cold tonight then warm up tomorrow then cold tomorrow night which means anything that melts will freeze overnight. Vince got an alert that as of 12 noon, the NC State Troopers had responded to 500 calls. And they only patrol the interstate, I can't imagine what it's like in the cities. We are scheduled for Newcomer bowling, but I have a feeling we'll wind up cancelling.
When I came in from shoveling, my fingers were tingling. To be honest, it scared me. I've never had a feeling like this. I did tell Vince about it and he just said "well, you're getting used to the warmer weather here in the South". Guess that's it because now I don't feel it in my fingers.

Janetr so sorry to hear that your sister has passed.
Heather the girls are so cute!
Kelly Joaquin is equally cute!
WI was today. I am up 1.2 lbs. I know I didn't eat in the neighborhood of 4000 extra calories in the past week, even with the pizza, so I'm guessing there must be some water retention happening. I did an extra long session on the elliptical yesterday and muscles are protesting so that may have something to do with it also. Just need to be extra vigilant this next week and hopefully that pound will go away and take 1 or 2 of its little friends with it!! lol
Still need to catch up, close but not quite there yet!
Have a good one!

Yesterday's follow up appt w/Dr. was a mixed bag.
+ BP 125/80, 2 lbs down, TriGlycerides, HCL ok, blood clots GONE, possible to get off Xarelto in another 3 months.
- LDL and total cholesterol too high.
To bring the LDL and weight down Dr. wants me to eat a cup of celery/day, try to avoid simple sugars, processed foods, and... wait for it... limit alcohol to 3 drinks a week. My kneejerk reaction "I don't want to!" :noway: He explained that my current 1 beer or 2x 3.5 oz glasses of wine/day might have been in the ok range when I was younger, but my aging body is less able to process alcohol. He also wants me to throw away any ice cream from the freezer. The theory being that if I have to go out for it, it will be less frequent and more of a treat.
Well. :noway: Don't know of any specialty yummy ice cream parlors in town, only DQ. NOT throwing anything away... Instead will only allow ice cream when I've walked for at least an hour.
As for the booze, the best I can imagine at this point is to make the 2 line dance class days alcohol free, bringing it down from 7 to 5 days/week. Heather, I may be ordering that AF beer from Amazon real soon!
Dr. talked to Joe about sleep apnea which Joe strongly resisted. Dr. said if he could lose more weight (he's lost 12 pounds recently) then the apnea might go away (doubtful, believe it's structural in his case). He also talked to Joe about the brandy... so Joe bought some sake today to substitute/lighten up. When I told him what the Dr. wanted me to try, he surprised me by hinting he might be interested in some AF days too. Amazing!
Janet "...like a second mom" so a double loss. ((hugs))
Rye Ankle push outs, do you try to keep your heel on floor as well as big toe? Can't see how to do this.
Michele I didn't even notice the first recipe had no chocolate! The second is a definite possibility to offer Joe when he wants DoNettes. Thanks! My fingers tingle too in the cold, and then they burn. Handwarmers help.
Pam Brava for the decluttering!
Carol I cannot believe 15* in GA, this winter is nuts!
Heather precious pink ballerinas!
Cheri hope your birthday was full of joy and fun.
KJ and the Suspicious Breast does sound like a mystery I'd love to read Love the Blueberry Monster pic!
Kim "I really work harder in a scheduled class than I do on my own. . ." likewise. The social aspect is important too. Hope you find something convenient, affordable and F U N!
Sharon are the sleep issues very recent? Ditto those that urge you to the MD.
Allie will keep good thoughts for your Dad. Your brother, not so much
Cinnamonhuskies Brava for Zumba and snow walking, glad your husky is feeling better.
Mindful and WARM Hugs to all,
Barbara, the Southern Oregon Coastie AHMOD.

This is what 24 cubic feet of wonderful grass fed organic beef looks like. Loaded and ready to drive across the country. The joy of having family in the beef business. It was worth the long drive on snowy roads (from Wisconsin to Texas). Plus I got to enjoy seeing my sister, helping on the farm, getting manure on my boots and finding out I haven't forgotten how to milk a cow. lol
Our drive from Wisconsin we did over two days and got all the worst of the snow. The worst being the farther south we went as they just don't have the equipment to clear the snow and ice as you farther south. We saw some terrible accidents on the road but our load seemed to keep us steady and gave us traction. Unfortunately we didn't just bring home meat, we brought back winter. It got down to 17 degrees here in Houston last night, which I know is nothing compared to the -12 degrees we left in Wisconsin but 17 degrees in Houston is treacherous. Most of the city highways were shut down this morning as a result of the ice. And so many accidents. People just don't know when to stay off the roads.
To put our cold in perspective my son-in-law saw that the high where he was raised was -44 degrees today. The low was -51. Now that is cold.

Machka, than, myou for the link but I know what Reynauds disease is. This is severe nerve pain as my sensation is coming back after the stroke. I was supposed to call my doctors office Monday to give him an update of my blood pressure readings. I forgot. So I called today and told him about the pain. Charlie has tried to get me to increase the dose. As an nurse, that is just something I can't do. So I don't know what my Dr will have me do. When he put me on it he said that some people don't get relief until they reach 3400 mg a day and I am on 100 mg four times a day. So I have a feeling that. Will get my dose increased a bit. We are a bit warmer today. It's a. Warm balmy 21 degrees and feels like 11 degrees. But that is a lot better than it has been.
I didn't go to choir practice because of the cold and what singing does to me. Thank you for all of your concern. It means so much to me. It is amazing the family of sisters we have here,
JanetR, so sorry about your sister, I am the middle child, I had 2 sisters older than me and 2 brothers younger than me. My oldest sister had cancer and died when I was 16, she was 20. But my other sister and I Re so close. She has had so many health scares, I don't know what my life is going to be like when she dies. She is only 18 months older than I am, has had cancer twice, really bad blood pressure problems, lots of falls, so,e of them due to very low blood pressure. One time she called me from her car, had no idea where she was or how she got there. She finally was convinced to wear a medic alert button.

Joyce, hugs sweetie. Hope this all gets better for you soon and you can begin feeling better. The remaining four of my family are now 73, 70, 69 and me 68.

Lenora: It sounds like you're actively dealing with health issues. I hope you're able to find a good balance soon.
Heather: Love the photo of your granddaughters in their dance clothes.
NYKaren: Thanks for the lentil soup recipe.
Had an unpleasant phone call with my housecleaner. She wanted to clean tomorrow and I don't want her here this week because I'm not feeling great and it is inconvenient. We eventually worked it out. I finally told her I'm not feeling well before she agreed to come next week, and I didn't appreciate having to argue about it over the phone. I find that her work leaves me irritated. The floors are clean, but every picture on my walls is hanging at a weird angle when she leaves. It seems to me that she rushes through things and doesn't do them well. This may not be a successful "match." We'll give it a bit more time. Advice welcome.

Katla, sounds like she doesn't care enough to do things the way you want them done. You need to cut her loose. I cleaned house for a living for 3 years and always listened when people had specific requests and tried my best to make sure they were carried out. And I always made sure pictures were on the wall straight, to the point that one time we were just starting a new customer and chatting with them. I noticed a crooked photo and had to excuse myself to straighten it. The customers were delighted. Your woman doesn't care enough to do little things like making sure pictures are atraight. What else is she not bothering with?
Sorry, my rant is over now. Good luck with whatever you choose to do!

You might be surprised how good you feel without the alcohol and ice cream.
I know that on the odd occasions I drink, I feel really "off" the next day, and it seems to take more effort for me to be active.
And back in about 2013, my husband and I got in the habit of having ice cream each night ... big bowls ... that was in my gaining weight phase and was probably a significant contributor. In late 2014, we finished the last box of ice cream and now it is rare that we'll actually have it in the house. We still do eat ice cream, but it's usually an ice cream bar or cone after a bicycle ride.
However, we do get Skinny Cow ice cream from time to time. There are a couple of those in the fridge right now.

Non scale victory: I did buti yoga intro video today... I have tried it a few times but it was too hard but today it was not too hard. I’ve been doing regular yoga very regularly. I’ve also been walking and pushing myself in a few other ways... anyways, I couldn’t find my favorite easy yoga so decided to do buti and I felt good doing it. My daughter is a buti instructor so would really like to be able to take her class next time I see her (and be thinner)
Apparently it’s recommended to do 3 days of buti and one day off. So I think I’ll do that.5 -
Hi Sisters, well it is evening here and I have managed to make it through a fast day. Yesterday I also ate only about 500cals by my guesstemit. So I have managed to shed a few pesky pounds. A few more to go to get to my Happy Place. I read an awesome book today to take my mind off food. It is called "Skeletons on the Zahara" by Dean King and is a true adventure story of sailors who were shipwrecked on the coast of Africa and forced to be slaves to the nomads in the Sahara Desert. They were starving and dehydrated for months, burnt to a crisp during the day and too cold to sleep at night...Made me forget my small deprivation of food for a day or two! This true story was the inspiration that drove Abraham Lincoln to take his mighty stand against slavery. The captain of the ship had a dream (that came true) in which he was returned to his wife and five children. He believed that God had ordained that he should suffer and be spared for a reason. He normally weighed 210 pounds and was below 80 pounds when rescued. Others of his crew only weighed an incredible 30 pounds but still lived. They drank camel urine and their own urine to survive, as well as snails and entrails. Fascinating story. I got it from my library. After I pulled my nose out of that book, I took Major and Lace down to the beach for a couple of hours of barefoot walking in the waves. There was a balmy breeze and people were playing in the water and surfing. Life is good! Wendy6

Allie - It's difficult to deal with others and their emotions. Please make sure you are keeping firm boundaries and that you are looking after yourself.
Margaret - I have started taking the tart cherry juice. Refreshingly tart. Larry tried it and spit it out.
Not for everybody.
Terry - No change in my meds. Maybe it's the time of year? Our busy season is over, so maybe just my body rebooting.
I am glad you can be there to support your daughter. It sounds like she is having one tough week.
Rye - You're a good daughter - in- law. Did you enjoy the movie?
Katla - Your description is how I feel. Bit of a headache and the exhaustion. Hope it doesn't last too long.
Janetr - So sorry for your loss. Hard to lose such an important part of your life. Keeping you in my prayers.
Heather - Your little ballerinas are adorable.
Cheri - Hope you had a wonderful birthday. May this be your best year yet.
drkatiebug - I am sorry for your loss as well.
Lenora - I have participated in 3 sleep studies through the years. It keeps coming back that I do not have Sleep Apnea.
Joyce - I hope you start feeling better soon.
Major disappointment when I tore open the envelope from the government. Disability denied. I will be challenging that. My disability doesn't meet the prolonged designation? 17 years and getting worse and that is not prolonged? Apparently it doesn't qualify as severe? That is based on the fact that the cortisone eases some of the pain. I'm so mad that I could spit. I wondered if the fact that I have fought to continue working was going to hurt my chances and it did. I now have to find how many days I did not work this year alone and note that it was due to pain. I may have to do last year also. I have to make doctor's appointments. Get new X-rays, probably get the doctor to write a letter. I have 90 days to dispute. I will be disputing long before that. They then take 90 days to decide.
I called my brother to vent. I discovered that when he was denied that he didn't have the energy to dispute. He definitely fits the prolonged as Dr. Wong filled in the prognosis as death - end stage renal failure. Maybe they count on people not disputing. I thought he sounded weird and asked what was wrong. He went into emergency a week ago Sunday. He has a periteneal infection. He is taking antibiotics intravenously and another orally because they can not identify what type of infection it is. He is getting blood work done 4x week. They only kept him in the hospital 2 nights and one day. He got to emergency at 2 p.m. in the afternoon and they got him into a room at 2 a.m. I asked why he never called or texted me. He says "Didn't anyone tell you? I thought it was odd that you hadn't called?" His girl friend wants to be treated like family but didn't bother to tell me about my brother. He is a trouper though he will do his antibiotic, go to his Senior's pot luck and joke around then home to do his dialysis. He says he is glad there is no snow to take care of right now.
My sister got out of the house to deliver my Avon. She made me notes from my government letter as to what I need to do. Thanks but I do know what to do. She tried to make Les leave when he was in the middle of his coffee and a conversation with Larry. I asked what her hurry was and it was because she had scheduled 45 min. at my house in her head. They stayed another 20 minutes.
My darling girl did some terrific tulips on tile with her alcohol inks. She just keeps amazing me.
I have to take Harmony to the doctor tomorrow so that she can get a referral back to the Ear specialist. Some people have told me that Harmony doesn't look well. I know that she eats properly when my son is home but when he's not I think that Kim lets her eat when and what she wants. The woman needs some serious nutrition lessons. I try to get through but......she thinks that Bear Paws are good for kids. I better not get into this one.
I was going to try to go for coffee with Holly's Mom. Guess we will see how long Dr. appointment goes and what else comes up.

Barbara - as a fellow drinker I understand your pain. Our government recommended limit is 14 units a week. By my reckoning you are drinking around 16 units. Your doctor is right - us old folks don't process alcohol as well, so our poor liver suffers. Yesterday I drank too much, but with the help of my v low alcohol beers I am staying within the weekly limit. I'm AF 4 or 5 days a week now. Friday we usually share a bottle of wine and I might have something Saturday or Wednesday. Or both. The ice cream and the alcohol won't be doing your weight any good. Are you logging the calories? The AF beers vary greatly in their calorie count, some are very low, others not. I also drink an AF cider, but it is high calorie, so I only have half a bottle at a time.
Luckily I am not an ice cream addict, though I will have a homemade one a few times a year. Sugar is not our friend. I do make one for guests, which is delicious, with only frozen raspberries, Greek yoghurt and stevia.
The LDL may not respond to diet changes, unless you go vegan. :noway: Not all doctors worry about it these days. Opinions vary. It would probably respond to intermittent fasting.
Good luck with your new regime. I had to experiment until I found a couple of beers I liked. Now I order them by the case from the micro brewers.
Katla - Do you employ your cleaner "as and when", or does she come st a regular, weekly time. If it is regular I would pay her for her slot, whether I wanted her or not. The only time I wouldn't pay her was if she couldn't come. I pay my cleaner for my holidays, even though she doesn't have a key. As for the quality of the cleaning - I have found they all have their quirks, blind spots and things they are good at. I have had several who leave things misplaced, probably to show they have "been there". It is annoying, but I have never had a perfect one. I had to ask yesterday for ours to take the cushions off the sofas to hoover under the cushions. If I want a "deep clean" of a room I ask for that and make it clear I don't expect her to get round the whole house. Mine does about half to two thirds, depending on how "deep" I want each room, and I specify the day's tasks when she arrives. Every cleaner has an obsession, for my last one it was the range stove. Spotless!
If your cleaner doesn't respond to your specified wishes, including straightening the pictures, then it's time to change her.
Some of the agency cleaners I have had don't speak much English and it's harder explaining to them. I found one almost flooding our oak floors with water, when I wanted her to use wipes. I think she realised I was horrified!
Love Heather UK xxxxxxx3 -
Had another session with the hypnotist today, part of my package deal. I want to start getting most of my household chores done during the week, so the weekend is free for fun without feeling like, I need to get this or that done, so the plan is to confine social media to times when I don't have other options, like on the train, then to spend early part of evening after work clearing up those chores. I also want to re start doing creative stuff, so later part of evening reserved for sewing, or other creative options
We'll see how it goes

Joyce I hope your Dr. can find the right levels to help you feel some relief from the tingling. I can't even imagine how frustrating that must be.

First day back at work! I didn't actually expect that many emails!! So I spent the day catching up and trying to figure out where I left off.
I mentioned earlier that I'm a list maker ... well, I've got most of my list of "Things To Do" in place all the way to April. I don't really plan much more than about 4 months in advance. And I say "most" because stuff gets added at the last minute and I often do forget something!!
After work, I walked down to the beach and waded in the waves. That's one of my "happy places" ... feet in water, warm sun shining, the rhythmic waves crashing on the beach.
Only problem was that today there were so many shells on the beach, for some reason, in places it was like walking on lego!!

Barbara, giving up a treasured favorite food is hard (probably as hard as it is for smokers to quit smoking) and requires the time to process the change. In the 1990's my doctor in a friendly way wrote me a prescription to leave ice cream out of my diet. In 2009 when I started MFP and Isagenix, I gave up eating desserts of all kinds. Since then, I have added ice cream back a few times a year. Alcohol gave me trouble in the 70's and in 1976 I decided that it was a problem and gave it up entirely---I don't even cook with wine. Be gentle with yourself and process the suggestions made by the doctor and listen to the experiences of others as you decide how to proceed with life changes. I am frequently inspired by several vegan eaters but am not yet able to imagine my life totally dairy free (I stopped eating meat a few years ago for ethical reasons). Best wishes to you on this challenging journey.
Katla, my mother had a house cleaner for many years that she called "the maid of little work" but she kept her on anyway. I hired her to work for me and was so grateful that there was someone who cleaned at all, that I wasn't much of a judge of how well she cleaned. When we moved to a new house 20 miles away, I told her that we'd decided to do our own cleaning in the new house. I'm sure that if you take a bit of time to think about it and don't decide while you're not feeling your best, that you'll know the right thing to do.
I got up early and thought I'd be able to have more time to walk the dogs before my class, but Jake got up early and thought my extra time would be perfect for me to listen to his thoughts on many subjects. So there will be more quality time for us and less time for the dogs.
Today is lunch with the line dance class at my favorite Chinese restaurant where I will have broccoli with garlic sauce and brown rice and bring half of it home for supper.

Sharon - Possible COPD?
Barbie - I had a maid when I worked that I shared with my boss's wife. She came every other week. She did an outstanding job, I even trusted her to wash and dry our clothes ... tell her to make sure she did not throw any of my tops in the dryer. About the only thing she did was stay there until I got home, sometimes 5:30 - 6:00pm. She came early - 8:00 - 8:30. The boys would 'try' to stay gone on the days she came because she would smother them with love and advice. Loved her. But, when we moved, it was way too far for her to come. Since purging my house, housework is not nearly as overwhelming to me and it looks so much nicer. The clutter is just because we have 7 rooms of furniture in basically 5 rooms and the mounted menagerie takes up the wall space.
Went to my MD (GYN) yesterday to talk to him about my labs done on 12/29/17); I felt like I had been hit by a Mack Truck when I got there. Headache that had lasted about 5 days, and sore from my head to my knees. Now he is going to do a sonogram on my liver and pancreas (that is a little disconcerting to me); and has ordered a MRI (without contrast) which will be done next Thursday. Sonogram after that. Have to have more lab work in about 6 weeks. I had sent him my 'medical history' and we talked about it as well. Telling him that I was not the 24-year-old woman he treated 43 years ago. I think that got his attention more than anything. They ask what medications you are on; but, I don't ever remember them asking for other things that affect your body. I already have an appointment for that to be done. Had the Medicare Wellness trip yesterday while I was already at the office. So I spent about 3 1/2 hours (or more) at his office. Louis got finished with his work before I got out, so he had to wait on me. We talked about my seizure meds and the fact that my Neurologist was not at all happy about my seizures meds being cut by half, although they did raise my Dilantin by 100mg. Neurologist wrote the Rx for the lowered amount; but, I talked to my PsycheMD and he wanted it to go back to what I was taking before I entered the hospital. So Neurologist wrote another Rx for the amount to be upped and also the upped amount of Dilantin. Just a 2-month supply so I would have enough to last me through the time I see him in mid-February. That made me a lot happier, because I have not had that 'sinking feeling' until last night and I had a bad one. I took my evening meds with a sip of Coke so it would get into my system a little quicker. Today, I am not as sore. Taking out one of my Rx'd meds and replacing it with Tylenol Arthritis. Also have appointment with GP, just because I have not been to him in the last 6 months. He is very popular and he stays 'full' so when I am sick it is quite often easier to see Bill than to see him.
Last night's sinking feeling was pretty upsetting as it just hit me quickly. I laid down on the bedroom floor and also took medication for dizziness and nausea and my migraine medication. So, today it is gone. At least for now.
I'm still getting much better - mentally.
Hope all of you, especially those with a lot of snow on the ground, will have a good rest of he week.
Lenora4 -
Katie I am sorry for the loss of your uncle.
Lenora I buy my tart cherry juice in the organic section of the grocery store. I also buy it at a local co-op. It is on the pricey side. I drink a small wine glass full about 2-3 before I go to sleep. If I am having trouble sleeping I might have another glass at dinner. It is tart. If you drink wine it reminds me of a merlot.
Sharon it is rare to get disability on the first try. Unfortunately it does appear you may need to apply more than once. There are lawyers that specialize in this. There was a woman named Gayle who has not posted in quite some time (Her mother was taking up most of her time) whose husband's job was to work on such cases. I would try to find a lawyer in your area who specializes in this and put it in their hands.
I did laugh when you told me about Larry. Yes tart cherry juice is not for all. I think of it like medicine. I do feel the same as Larry about elderberry juice. Elderberry juice is good for your immune system. I have had to find alternatives because I spit out elderberry juice.
M in OZ I agree about the alcohol and ice cream. I too find if I listen to my bodies reaction good or bad and act on what it is trying to tell me my life works better.
Lenora you have been through the wringer. You have a team of good doctors helping you. It sounds getting them working as a team to help you is not always easy. What I do hear in your posts is you are working hard and listening to yourself to do right by body and mind. So happy to hear your thoughts are clearing.
I went to choir last night and had a good time. I love the woman I sing next too. She is a surgical nurse and one of the best at what she does. She is just so fun! I did get a complement from someone who tried out the choir last night. She says she hears my voice and I have a beautiful voice. I have learned to accept compliments and said Thank you. Another soprano just lost twenty five pounds by changing her diet. She eliminated process foods and asks herself why she wants to eat. By asking herself this question she found it helped her make better choices.
Because choir goes later than the start of my sleep routine I do have to adjust. I still made it to sleep by 10. I am waking up at 3 to 3:30. I just stay in bed and let myself drift. I then did get up at 6:30. I do feel rested.

Went out after lunch for Day 2 Week 3 of c25k and it started to rain. The sky looked ominously grey, so I went back to the house and carried on my session running/walking around the house and up and down the stairs! DH was cooking pears and making a stir fry marinade for pork, so he was highly amused at me running round the kitchen table. I added a bit of extra time on the end to make up any effort shortfall. I did feel at the end pretty much as I usually do afterwards, so I think it went ok. I didn't get quite the high that I normally get though. Of course, it's sunny out there now, but I didn't know when the rain would stop. DH has just gone out for his walk.
I have pretty much found that if I don't do things at the normal time for them they get shelved, or I make excuses. So I had to do it then.
Barbie - I too would love to go vegan, and I do love vegan food, but, like you, there are things I would miss horribly. As for the ethical side of things I think it is either omnivore or vegan. Dairy is more cruel than meat farming. The milk industry is far from cruelty free. I do insist on organic, free range meat from ethical sources. Today's pigs have happily grunted in a field.
I have lots of fish days (again not cruelty free ) and at least one vegetarian/vegan day a week. It is a real conundrum, but, for me, eating happily reared animals is something I can just about live with. We used to live near a farm with its own abattoir and calming music was played to the animals as they waited for stunning. The owner made sure the animals were happy and not aware of their fate. Unfortunately we don't live there now, but I liked that idea.
The important thing is to be mindful of where your food comes from and to appreciate every bite. Mindless, junk eating is a modern day curse. Only eat things that have been grown and made with love, not factory s×÷+×.
Here ended the lesson.

Hi my friends!
Here I am sitting in the laundromat parking lot. I called my mom as I decided a weekly Thursday call was the thing to calm her down, but again, no answer. So left her voicemail and will wait for a call back. She has a problem with callbacks as she dials the wrong person at times then accuses the other of not calling her. Oh well, I’ll probably be there some day.
Diet going well. Added a 1.5 mike walk to my daily routine working to doctor recommended 2 miles. I have added 1.5 cups of fresh veggies to daily diet and 2 fruits. Working up to 2 cups of fresh to meet requirements. Have to make this work to lower my BP as it is higher than it should be. Sugar down but BP up. Had mamo and bone density done yesterday and get results next Wednesday. DH is at doc for first allergy shots. Curious as to how that will go. Waiting for a text from him to pick him up from there.
Back to check on clothes.
