@acrylicfox Your quote is so true. Before I quit smoking I felt like I was in a prison because of my addiction. It took a lot of perseverance, dedication, and accountability to finally come off them. I have been cigarette free for almost 2 years!

WOW that is an inspiring story! I wish I could hit that like button a hundred times for your post - great work!

    2/19 Monday JFT:

    ▪Breakfast
▪Run a few errands: bank, WM, vitamin shop, mailbox
▪Research work from home- complete excel log
    ▪Laundry
    ▪Prep taxes
    ▪Rebox textbooks
    ▪Lunch
    ▪Elliptical - Only Walking Pace!!
    ▪Prenatal Yoga
    ▪Baseball - "Meet the Coach/ team"
▪Dinner either 5 pm or 8:30 pm depending on baseball event
    ▪Bedtime by 11 pm

Whew! I gotta sit and rest a moment---your JFT has left me wiped out!! We were/are a baseball family. My husband coached one of our son's til he graduated high school and went to play in college. He even coached in Belgium and the team won the national championship---of course you have to remember that Belgium is the size of Maryland, lol!!! When we lived in Austin, TX, the hubs would be up at 2am watering the field. When he first got there, it was a mess and he slowly got it back in shape by reseeding, fertilizing and watering. Our son was probably 9 or 10 at the time. As usual I was the trusty sidekick. If I wasn't helping him, I'd be selling snacks at the concession stand. I recall the league hosting a tournament and I was up early making egg and meat burritos to sell . We had four kids by then. And even though only one kid played, the other three were usually there rooting him on. Later, I would take photos and put together albums for the families. When we lived in Belgium, our son, who was in high school (homeschooled) would fly to the States and play ball from January to the end of May and then return to Belgium to play the season there. I think back now and marvel at how I let our 15-17 year old go off like that! Of course he had ten moms to pounce on him if he ever got out of line, lol. And I remember the days sitting on the cold metal bleachers, wrapped in a blanket, holding an umbrella cheering on the team. At the time, it's just what we did! Now, I'm not sure I could do that several days a week! So, I truly feel for you---and wow! I was not expecting when all this was going on in my life! So you get multiple kudos. But remember, there will be a last time. And then all you will have will be the lovely, crazy, sometimes upside down, memories to hold on to. Here is an appropriate JFT quote by a man who pitched for the Cleveland Indians for 18 seasons:

"Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday's success or put its failures behind and start over again. That's the way life is, with a new game every day, and that's the way baseball is." Bob Feller

    (Apologies for the OT rambling...)

Thank you for sharing your story!! You have an incredible story and there is no way I could let my teenager do that, Lol!! I'm much to paranoid!! Your husband did a great thing by taking over and making everything work for the baseball team. It is not easy, Lol!! I'm sure by the time my kids are all grown up, I'll miss the caious as well. Sometimes I look back and laugh about what we've already been through!! But the is the joy in life, the journey not the destination

I truly appreciate you ladies all being there for me and everyone else on JFT. Life can kick your butt sometimes and having a support system IS very helpful.

@MLHC1 Good luck today! You should give yourself a little slack about the research. You're 7 months pregnant! They need to take that into account. Lol. If you need to rest, then rest. I'm so glad that you dont have to manage the team! That's awesome! What kind of business does your husband own?

Was definitely too ambitious with today’s work goals. Lots of unexpected stuff popped up so I felt like I couldn’t get anything finished! But I did make a dent in some...

    - exercise before kids get up ✅
    - 2ltr + water :# not sure - maybe just about. Must try harder
    - Stay in calorie goal ✅
    - Interventions update work :| couldn’t get any time with the lead person to discuss
    - Sort class folder :) half done. Will finish tomorrow hopefully
    - Progress on display board materials ✅
    - hot yoga? Really want to try and make this class tomorrow ✅
    - Online grocery shop ✅

    JFT 21/2:

    - exercise early
    - Water!
    - Stay within calorie goal
    - Finish class folder
    - Get quotes and last pics for display/website
    - Twinning project chase
    - Party invitations
    - Marking and planning
    - Early night

Sounds like lots of success and hard work out there. @Bex953172 - so exciting! Good luck!! X

Haha the closer I get the more panicky I get.

So far in bth labours I’ve had a panic attack when it’s time to push!
So my JFT for Sunday will be “don’t have a panic attack in labour”

I had to look up what a sweep is. Interesting. I never heard of that. Of course I stopped making babies about 22 years ago.

Why panic? You know what's going to happen and look at the good results you have gotten to date. Two little darlings. You don't need to be fearful, you have a great track record!

Haha I don’t know, I think I fear the pain over everything. I just get a feeling that I suddenly can’t do it haha
I’ve been watching some hypnobirthing though so might even play it whilst in labour to keep me concentrating on being calm!

I think this is the most nervous I’ve been! After one bad labour and one good I’m dreading if this will be good or bad, but statistics seem to say that because I’ve birthed before it should be easier but there’s just no knowing!

Last baby so gotta give it my best go!

Oh my goodness, @Bex953172 I know it didn't go fast for you, but I can't believe it's here already! I'm so excited for you! @junodog1 I had to look up what a sweep was too! But my baby is 35, so....they didn't do ultrasounds or anything back then.

I will be thinking about you over here! Let us know when she's here (when you have time, of course!) sending you big hugs! (((BEX))) <3

I looked through 4 pages of posts, and I guess I never even set any goals for today. But .... I had a great day. I guess after having a couple of totally out of control eating, at least I am back on track again, well, at least for today I was.

    1. Drank 8 glasses of water (I know, because I counted 2 at each meal, and drank 2 tonite)
    2. Got the towels appliqued and ready for grandsons birthday
    3. Did 30 minutes on the treadmill, and also to the spinning class!!! OMG -- My legs still hurt! I loved the class, but I tend to get nauseaus when I overdo it. Not sure if its because I have low blood pressure or what. But I went and sat for awhile, and came back in and finished the class. A great workout! And I was proud of myself, because this morning I hit the snooze 3 times before going. But I always set it ahead of time --- I just had to rush out the door faster!
    4. and logged all food

I guess @Bex is going to be pretty busy this week ;) , so I best behave myself!!! I told myself last year I would be at goal weight when @Bex has her baby girl. Well, I guess thats not going to happen. But I can't wait to hear from you after you have that sweet little baby girl!! You are going to do great!

My goals for tomorrow, try and have a repeat of today.
    1. Remember how awful I feel when I eat crap!
    2. Make a list of what I want to accomplish - this always helps me get more done
    3. finish pinning the king size quilt :s
    4. concentrate on 8 glasses of water
    5. log all food - stay under 1400 cal. But better yet, make my choices healthy
    6. get back on here... be accountable.
