I've only just seen this thread, it's been really interesting seeing what people are eating & given me some inspiration for future food ideas... also reassured me plenty of people have random "dinner" breakfasts!
so my day today:
Breakfast: 2x crumpets & sunflower spread
2nd breakfast/snack: (I'm not a hobbit but I do work shifts so by the time it's breaktime it's also 2nd breakfast time!) Bowl of fruit & fibre cereal, semi skimmed milk
Lunch: chicken broth, pom bears, greek yoghurt with blackberries, grapes, an apple.
Dinner: beans on toast (it was a 12h shift - beans on toast is my friend!!)0 -
Breakfast: an orange, I was ill yesterday and started out eating lightly...then was starving later
Lunch: rice with steamed broccoli, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil
Dinner: more rice with chili beans, topped with yellow bell pepper and salsa, carrot sticks0 -
I love this thread! Just been super busy lately and haven't had time to post. c:
Brunch: Leftover lemon shrimp and rice from Chinese last night
Snack: Greek yogurt with Pineapple
Dinner: No idea yet, probably something light with a side salad!
If I'm still hungry I'll either have some wasabi soy almonds or Chilly Cow ice cream.0 -
I vote for the once a week thread- it was / is super fun and does give some good ideas- lots of fun when people are busy- didn't it used to be on Wednesday- like what we're eating weeky or something like that?
Anyway food:
breakfast:a Mexican style egg white omelette with 2 strips of bacon, coffee
lunch: veggie burger, with half an order of onion rings diet coke
snack- fiber one protein bar with cup of tea
super- 2 servings of green beans, beets, and cuke/ tomatoe salad
snack - serving of potatoe chips with dip0 -
Breakfast - A piece of whole wheat high fiber bread with 1 slice of cheese, toasted
Lunch: Cauliflower rice stir fry with shrimp
Dinner - Chicken Balsamic with mushrooms and spinach.
Snack - a peach and 12 cherries.
I'd love to see this as a weekly thread. I'm always looking for ideas.

Breakfast: banana that was rapidly becoming too ripe and had to be eaten
Lunch: repeat of yesterday: rice with steamed broccoli, soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, and sesame oil
Work snack one: flatout wrap with hummus and romaine, side of sliced carrots and bell peppers
Work snack two: flatout wrap with hummus and romaine, a really really delicious apple
Dinner: tofurky deli meat on sourdough bread with spicy mustard and romaine, an orange1 -
Breakfast: Beet and lentil burger with chipotle cashew cheese
Lunch: Spicy cashew and butternut squash soup with chopped jalapenos, cucumber salad, Clif nut butter bar
Dinner: Chilled rice noodles with vegetables (chard, red bell pepper, carrot) and smoked tofu, chorizo tempeh crumbles, charred shishito peppers1 -
Breakfast: Coffee with creamer
Lunch: Probably going to be a spinach and red pepper 3-egg omelette
Snack: Green yogurt with pineapple
Dinner: 3 leftover tuna cakes with a side salad
Dessert: Either 2 mint oreos or Chilly cow ice cream, depending on calories and how I'm feeling tonight0 -
Breakfast: rice with leftover spicy peanut sauce
Lunch: rice with chili beans and salsa, cucumber spears and carrot sticks
Dinner: tofurky sandwich with romaine and spicy mustard, an orange
Snack: an Envy apple: delicious!1 -
Breakfast: Coffee with creamer
Lunch: 2 leftover tuna cakes, side salad
Snack: Greek yogurt, 2 mint oreos
Dinner: Blackened shrimp tacos!
Dessert: Ben and Jerry's new coffee truffle ice cream0 -
Breakfast:
spinach, mango, pineapple and banana smoothie, coffee, tea
lunch:
half salad from wendy's with water
supper: Ole wrap with grilled chicken, bacon, light cheese and tomatoe with light chips and diet c oke
snack: graham cracker with 2 tbs cool whip for a MOCK ICE CREAM sandwich with a hot tea0 -
B: Coffee with cream
L: Salad with chicken breast, avocado and sesame soy dressing, cheese string and an apple
D : Air Fried Chicken burger and french fries.0
