Round 48 *Will be on vacation during the majority of this round
7/27: 165.0/Had to work today, so got up super early to get in a run and exercise. Looking forward to starting vacation tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how my runs go as I am going from super flat terrian to hilly terrian, in the final week of C25k training, ehhhhh. I plan on trying to stay within my calorie allowance, but things happen.
7/28 165.2/Leaving for vacation today. Would like to see this number down not up, hoping to maintain. Going to try and log in with weights depending on scale access, but might be done for rest of this round.
7/29: 164.6/Went over calories yesterday, all day driving to start vacation. It is amazing how EASY it is to stack up those calories in one fast food meal. If anything recording calories really opens your eyes to how many calories can be in one meal, even when your trying to be good. Went for a run this morning, I am on week 8 of c25k and supposed to run 2.75 miles. I am in hill county now, so had to walk about 1/4 of that, but I did it!9 -

@quiltingjaine I am in Toronto. We've just come off a wave of heat and humidity. It is 19C now and our high today will be 24. Great walking weather! Sorry don't know how to covert that to farenheit (which my son calls Freedom units) but more or less room temperature.2

I’m in. I’ve gone completely out of control! I can’t believe I keep doing this to myself.
SW this round 185.8
Goal this round 180.0 looking for -5.8 this round.
It’s a big goal but my body is just so so so bloated that I think I’ll drop a few pounds easy as long as I push the water. If I can make this happen this round I will make more reasonable goals in the future rounds.
7/27 - 185.8

Day/Weight/Comment
7/27 - 158.5 - I was going to gripe about being this weight for almost 8 days straight, especially since I've stayed real close to my weight loss calories. Then I realized because of our out of town visitors, I've had food that is higher in sodium, I haven't been walking as much, and water has not been my drink of choice. We've got one last barbecue planned for this weekend and then they'll leave on Sunday. I need to enjoy this weekend and not worry about what the scale says. Last week, before they came, I was hoping to maintain and I need to be happy that I did.
7/28 - 159.5
7/29 - 161 - Well, 158.5 looks pretty good right now! I had a little of everything at our picnic yesterday and several drinks, so this is no surprise. I have figured out that exactly 11 years ago I had dieted to 157 lbs. I hit a plateau and stopped counting calories and tracking my weight. This time will be different. I don't regret the overindulgence yesterday, since this time I'm not going to let it derail me. (And we had so much fun!)

7/29 - 254.4 didn’t eat well yesterday, too many carbs, also helped son move out of his apartment so when muscles hurt, I hold on to fluids. Water and get some vegetables in today.

Day/Weight/Comment
7/27 188.4 Self Sabotage during and after a night out with friends yesterday. My own fault, no excuses. Ate 166 Net Carbs, 1972 Calories In / 2675 Out. 11 of 13 step hours (250) on fitbit. Walked 3.98 miles with 9,393 steps. Did great today so tomorrow’s stats should be much better. Socializing makes it tough!
7/28 186.0 whoosh…, high sodium and water weight gone for good along with doubts and self-sabotage. It was a good day yesterday. I worked hard to make up for my social night out. I ate 19 Net Carbs. 1192 Calories In / 3089 Calories Out. 13/13 fitbit steps (250). Blood sugar 126 before meal test (still suffering a bit from day before). Brisk 3 mile walk at school track. Day’s total was 16,625 steps and a total of 7.03 miles for the day. Best victory was that I made good healthy choices in my meals all day (not just stayed in my macros). I did indulge in that 90% Lindt chocolate, but it kept my cravings curbed as well as serves as an antioxidant. An overall very successful day.
7/29 185.2 Overall good day but not as active due to some light but frequent car time. I at 19 Net Carbs. 1263 Calories In / 2354 Calories Out. Did 9,246 steps with no particular exercise involved. Walked 3.92 miles and hit 11/13 steps hours (250) on fitbit. Followed my diet very well but drank very little water or fluids overall. I plan on drinking much more today. I forgot to check my blood sugars yesterday. My doctor has me checking before meals now instead of in the morning so I often forget to do it before I eat. I made delicious Keto friendly Jalepeno poppers yesterday. So fast, easy and delicious. Just cut off ends of Jalepenos, slice in half (like a canoe). Take out seeds and ribs (rinse under water if you need to). Fill with cream cheese (and a little salt if you need more sodium.) wrap in ½ slice of bacon, or lay ¼ slice on top (depends on how many calories you want. Bake on 375 until bacon is done to your liking. Net carb about 1 to 1.5 per popper (half) calories about 60 – 70 (depending on how high you heap the cream cheese). I use about ½ TBSP per popper of cream cheese so calories are about 70 each. Yummy!

@quiltingjaine and @brightresolve : Both of you are so right. I have scaled my interactions back considerably or I would be a wreck. I admit to being a bit of a hermit now; living 25 minutes from town facilitates this as well.
I've always been an introvert with high social skills (almost no one believes I'm an introvert due to being a retired performer and former coordinator of the friends' group social activities LOL) and do enjoy my friends and family.
As of the past 5+ years I've been feeling depleted so I spend my time puttering about my home and taking solitary walks and hikes. It restores my energy and feeds my soul.
Thank you for your kindness.8 -

Had a very active day yesterday and plan on the same today. I ate really well yesterday with the exception of dinner where I ate a footlong sweet onion chicken teriyaki on wheat with onion, lettuce, and spinach.
I could have done just a 6 inch but I was really hungry and it filled me up. I'm still under my calories for the day so I'm not sweating it.
This morning I had 2 poached eggs, humas and carrots. I feel nice and full.
That's the big thing for me is finding foods that fill me up. I wanted to get some steel cut oats at the store last night but forgot. Yes I'm a guy and wouldn't ever think of making a list. That would be too easy12 -
I'm back! Was doing this challenge last year for a while. I think from about round 11 - 17. Got off track and am ready to get serious again.I'm 60 years old, soon to be 61. I like to walk and do yoga, but haven't been doing either lately.
I mostly eat a Paleo type diet, but just bought some ketostix and may give keto a whirl, but not until after my anniversary and birthday in August. I've done two rounds of Whole30 and had really good results from it.

Round 44 End Weight = 165.8 (5.2 lbs lost)
Round 45 End Weight = 164.9 (0.9 lbs lost)
Round 46 End Weight = 159.6 (5.2 lbs lost)
Round 47 End Weight = 157.2 (2.4 lbs lost)
Stats = 5'4 female, age 48
Highest Weight = 172 lbs
Initial Goal Weight = 139 lbs (last weighed this is 2013)
Ultimate Goal Weight = 129 lbs (last weighed this in 2011)
Round 48 Goal: to be in the 155's
Exercise Plan = The Betty Rocker 90 Day Challenge (in week 2 of 12), run outside 3-4 times a week, get 8,000-10,000 steps/weekday
Nutrition Plan = Continue to limit gluten, dairy, sugar, diet soda, alcohol & eat non-processed foods, protein/fruit/veg at every meal, complex carbs at breakfast and post workout meal, drink plenty of water.
07/27 - 157.2 (no change from yesterday) I had a really good exercise day yesterday! Was able to get a run in and completed the 1st week of my 90 day challenge with the day 7 exercises. Food wise, everything was on point. I'm tired today and super happy it's Friday! So looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow, although a later weigh-in may sque the number on the scale. I bought a book yesterday that was recommended by another person on a similar weight loss/fitness journey called Intuitive Eating and looking forward to diving into this book over the weekend. Welcome to everyone new to this challenge, excited to see what this round brings!
07/28 - 157.0 (down .2 from yesterday) Late weigh-in this morning and hopefully will have a late weigh-in tomorrow, so we'll see what the scale brings on Monday with a normal weigh-in time. Yesterday I completed day 8 of my 90 day challenge: Body Squat w/ 2 Knee Lift, Incline Push Ups, Alternating Reverse Lunges, Elbow Plank, 4-Point Triceps Dips, Side Step Squat w/ Bicep Curls (used dumbbells), & Bridge Lifts. My upper body is my weakest area (in terms of strength) and I put on weight here 1st and lose here last. Those 4-point triceps dips were hard!! But the sense of accomplishment after is worth all the pain of doing them! On point yesterday with nutrition, calories & macros. Today is a scheduled rest day and my plan was to do nothing, but my daughter just got invited over to a friend's house, which opens me up to be able to get outside and get a run in - Yay!
07/29 - 156.7 (down .3 from yesterday) Didn't get to sleep in this morning as my daughter had a friend sleepover and they were up quite early wanting breakfast. They had a baked berry French toast, I had prepped the night before, I took a small bite but it didn't really interest me, happy to stick to my green smoothie. Yesterday was a partial rest day, just did a short run, it was a little warm but there was a nice breeze so no complaints. I did my day 10 of 90 workout earlier this morning and for the rest of the day I'm hoping to get some meal prep in and then have some nice family time with my husband and daughter. Enjoy your day everyone

From St. Paul, Minnesota. 72 degrees right now, probably high in the low 80's today, lows in the low 60's and even high 50's which is nice for sleeping. Humidity is building again though. High of 65 last Monday which was great and unusual for the end of July.5 -
@quiltingjaine, I live in Maryland and the weather started out typically for July highs in the 90's upwards to 100° on a few days and humid. Then came temps in the low 80's, 100% humidity and torrential flooding rains and severe thunderstorms last week. Today the weather is beautiful, mid 80's, no precipitation forecast. The rain and flooding potential returns Tuesday thru Saturday.
@grebber1, I always make lists and forget to put some of the things I need on them or FORGET THE LIST! 😂4 -

If I can plan carefully and work through my list of things to do hopeful can have a good trip and keep the weight down. I’m visiting my kids & grandkids who mostly eat very well. There is a lot of driving though and those days are not so good. I did buy an excellent cooler though so I can avoid the fast food and stop at rest stops. Just takes a little planning. @quiltingjaine, I'm in the Kootenays in BC - for Americans, think just over the border straight north of Spokane, WA. We've been having highs around 30C (86F) but cools off nicely in the evenings at this altitude - 1,023 m (3,356 ft). We had a cool wet spring but now is extremely dry and have a contained wildfire just to the south so a little smoke in the air.3

I'm late to the party - but all in. I was part of, gosh, maybe round 17, 18 & 19? Then decided to stop weighing myself so often - but I really need the accountability. I lost 20+ pounds from March through mid-June. Summer and crazy schedule hit and have gained at least 5 back. So......thanks Jackie for keeping this going so long - there are obviously a lot of people that appreciate it (and need it!).
