    8/16 - 180.0 lbs Good start 😊 Had to go 80 calories over my goal yesterday long after I had finished my diary, I was feeling really hungry.

    8/17 - 181.0 lbs (+ 1.0) It is SO hard for me to get past 180. I don’t get it.. What do you want from me body? I was very thirsty when I wake up, so I actually drank a lot of water before weighing. I usually weigh on an empty stomach.

    This happens to me sometimes as well. So, you can either remember to weigh before you drink water, or record the amount of water you drink and subtract it from your weight. Whatever you do, just remain consistent so you can see actual trends and accurate results in your weight data.

    In five days, (August 21st) I will have been on my current weightloss journey for 1 year. I would love to have lost 70 lbs by then. I'm so close, 67.4 lbs.This fluid retention is not helping matters :angry:
    Time to bring back the parsley and lemon :wink:

    @tiabirdie56 That's a great loss for 1 year! It took me 18 months to lose 73 pounds 2 years ago, so way to go!!!

    @deepwoodslady, Donna, parsley and lemon are both
    diuretics. Make a tea of about 8 crushed parsley leaves in one cup of hot water. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Let it cool to warm. You can drink it as is or add lemon juice. Just as effective is adding parsley to your salad. Also, hot lemon water first thing in the morning will help you shed extra fluid.
