12/4 - 178.8 - Starting to come back down. I never have a Round goal weight, only a 10 lb goal to reach. This time I set one. 175 lbs, to keep me accountable and away from the carbs until I reach it. BECAUSE, there are 2 carb days I am looking forward to, gingerbread and belgian waffles 😃 both courtesy of my son's baking. I've been waiting on this gingerbread for 4 years😂

12/04 - 186.4 Just one day off from hitting my 186 goal. I guess eating 300 calories all day and 1100 after 6:00 p.m. is going to have an impact. Sure I stayed within goal but the timing screwed me for next day weigh in - lesson learned. Going to the gym tonight for weights. After six rounds I've lost 5.9 pounds. Very close to a pound a week. If I keep that pace I'll be at my goal in 1 year. I started in March but didn't really get serious until July or August. Here's to the next six weeks. It would be nice to start the new year in the 170's.

Back in the "legal" zone. I'm still slacking off on exercise because of lingering pain, especially in my joints. The elimination diet I was on eliminated 15 pounds but not the pain. Still a win! We tried another short course of prednisone and will re-check inflammation levels mid month and go from there. In the meantime, I need to suck it up and exercise anyway. Maybe I should join a "get off your butt for 10 days" challenge!

@ahdewald Weight changes usually lag a few days behind changes in calories in/out, so give it a little time. I also find that tracking my average calories over a week to ten days is more meaningful than individual days. Keep at it!

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.

I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after.

I need to step up my game if I want to meet any of my goals.

12/04 - Tuesday - 178.8 - Hmmm...well thats interesting. I guess the weekend just took a day to catch up with me. Yesterday was a good eating day, even did a little yoga to destress and it was a circus at work. Not sweating it though...I felt really good this morning. Sticking to habits today, canned soup for lunch and eggroll in a bowl for dinner and tomorrows lunches. When I closed yesterdays diary is said I would be 170.5 in 5 weeks time so that was encouraging seeing that I'm not far "off schedule" to short term goal #3!

@AJB1014, I used to track my 5 week projected weight loss. Don't know why I stopped. My weight was always a pound lower at the 5 week point.

@aFit50, IKR! I've had a plan to eat that gingerbread with warm lemon curd. I used to make gingerbread and could make it now, but he wants to do it.

Goal: Get BF% to 10-12%, then bulk.

Round 57: +2.6 (15.1%)
Round 58: -1.8 (15.1%)
Round 59: -1.8 (14.1%)
Round 60: -7.0 (12.1%)

Round 61 Starting Weight: 178.6

Goals for this round are to continue recovering from my illness the last round and see where my weight stabilizes, then determine whether to cut a bit more or start my bulk. Also plan on getting back in the gym consistently now that I am starting to get my strength back.

12/04 - 181.2 - Was able to eat normal foods again and felt pretty good. Wasn't able to get a workout in, but I do plan on getting back to the gym today and getting on a normal eating schedule again.

@SheilaBoneham I’m curious about the repeated prednisone- have they tried an NSAID? Carl’s ortho gave him a script for meloxicam and he is very impressed with the pain relief. He doesn’t like to take drugs so . . .
I can see your ticker. I used the ticker once and could never get it again so gave up.

@bisonpitcher Glad you are feeling better but don’t push too hard at the gym. Allow yourself to recover!
