OP you have to weigh EVERYTHING, I have two sets of scales, one at home and one at work. I even weigh the milk I put in my tea.
Honestly, it takes me about a month to really see any fat loss, I find the first 3-4 weeks is my body adjusting, so I get huge scale fluctuations.
You need to pause, take a breath, re-read the stickies that people have referred you to and be consistent and patient.9 -
I’m going to buy electronic scales also I’ve been reading about flax seed does anyone eat them in thier diet
I will weigh every thing I eat and start a fresh8 -
Focus on the basics first. No need to spend more money on seeds and supplements until you figure out what you are ACTUALLY eating.
You're eating more than you think you are.8 -
Eat things you like within your allowance. Figure out calories and satiety. Then optimize for health effects by adding missing pieces and crowding out foods you no longer consider as important4

someone just said think of a GPS saying recalculate, it doesn't say you will not get there, I don't think you will get to your destination. Yes, recalculate!7

The flax seeds are not for the weight loss I’ve come of hey and was told to look for a Estrogen boost and found them but not sure how you eat them as the brown seed or ground
Today is a new start I’m going to weigh every thing I like and do little food parcels freeze meals aswell so it’s all done and just weigh what I add on as in snacks5 -
OP I have sent you a request as you appear to have had some trouble in adding me1

Do you weigh at home or at a drug store?
Plug your numbers in weightgrapher and compare to your weight during your previous cycle. This may be more for the future.
I've been looking for somewhere to record my weight in a graph format. Thanks2 -

I started eating flax seeds for a hormonal issue, oh, at least three years ago, and they have done nothing for that.
I still do add flax seeds to my smoothies for fiber and fat and a little omega-3 boost, but they are no magic hormonal food.
They need to be ground. You can either buy them ground and refrigerate them, as I do, or buy them whole and grind them yourself with a spice grinder, which I have done when I buy whole by mistake.
I think you'd be better off buying a digital scale and focusing on logging for now.5 -
@kpaing121 When is the wedding in June? With as little weight as you have to lose it will be a struggle to lose that much. Maybe you should proceed with getting the dress altered. Then afterwards worry about losing the 10lbs if you still want to. You are putting a lot of stress on yourself.
@kpaing121 I agree - with only three weeks to go before the wedding, just get the dress altered and enjoy the party. Worry about weight loss later.6 -
Looks like you have had a lot of advice in this thread - I don't think I can add any more value as everything seems to have been explained perfectly!
I would definitely agree that tracking your food accurately is going to be the way forward. Also - life isn't just about the number on the scales.. you need to enjoy things and this wedding sounds like one of those things! Don't pressurise yourself into something that's not attainable..
Good luck!2 -
I’m just going to try my best today I’ve made myself 4 meals weighed and cooked rice chicken veg mushrooms just added it all together and in total it works out 205 cals per meal need to log it but what under stir fry type meal I guess once I’ve eaten every thing and my snacks I’m going to log it then2

How do you know the calorie count if you haven't logged the meals? Where are you getting those counts from?
There are lots of ways to log things you've made. You can log the individual ingredients (not forgetting the cooking oil). If it's something you make a lot and don't change much, you can create a recipe and log that. If it doesn't have lots of ingredients or you alter it quite a lot, you can create a meal and log that.
The one way you absolutely should not log is to take some random 'stir fry type meal' from the database and log what you've made under that!10 -

What are the weights for the ingredients? Did you use any oil? 205 cal per meal for a stir fry with chicken and rice seems unlikely.11 -
Almost everyone in this thread has tried to offer advice related to accurate logging, and your diary still has a ton of red flags. If you really were eating at the calorie totals shown in your diary there is no way you wouldn't be losing weight. Barring a medical issue, nobody should really struggle to consume 1200 calories.11

This. How do you know it's 205 calories if you haven't weighed and logged the ingredients?7 -

Kpaing...How do you make a meal that contains rice, chicken, vegetable and mushrooms for only 205 calories. About the only way to do that is by having only a couple of bites of each thing. You were complaining about not reaching your calorie level and if this is how you think you will do that then all the advice we have given you has been wasted.
Are you still trying to lose 10 lbs by June 6th?3 -

I call *kitten*.
You say nothing about quantity, or oil, or anything else. And you haven't logged it yet.
Those are not 205 per meal.8 -

The OP’s responses are really vague and just enough for people to continue to provide extensive advice and responses to those vague and non-specific posts. Everyone’s going in circles.7
