Sparkly, what is MCAS? Your comments sound much like what I’ve been dealing with.
Bears/raccoons we had a problem with raccoons here at the park. We found putting ammonia in the cans just before sunset and closing covers tightly deterred them. They did not like the ammonia smell when cover came off. Perhaps will help with bears too?

Rebecca live your goal list. Think I’ll do something like that too! I’ll make one up and post it here later. Great idea!
My June goals were to figure out my bowel issues and continue my current way of eating. The eating part has become second nature so great there. The bowel program improving. Figured out definitely some sort of food thing.
Lost 4 pounds in June so still on track. Only 6 pounds to goal but will add 5 more to it before I’m going for maintenance. That makes my starting weight (highest in 2016) of 210: current 151: goal of 145 (140).
July goals: same as June plus crest a goal list with checkoff boxes similar to Rebecca’s so I don’t lose sight.

I give up trying to catch up, I still have 20 pages to read from last month. So today is a new month and new start. It was a HOT weekend. Going from 60's to 100's is terrible. Stayed inside as much as possible. Did get the wall painted in the living room and curtains washed and inside windows washed. Had a grand daughter spend Saturday night and took her and acouple grandsons to church Sunday. Then took granddaughter home on the motorcycle. She lives about 30 miles away and by the time I got back I was dripping and ready for the shower. Did I mention I do not like the HOT?
Connie--Sorry to hear about your mom, Would she be able to get into a place that bases the rent on income? I know here we have several places for people over 55 that are based on income and some are really nice.
Pip--So sorry for your loss.
Well going to be another hot one today. So going to enjoy being inside much as I can.

Oh gosh so so done with my job..was called into the office and not yelled at per say but that I need to figure out my own solutions to problems and not come to him.
But they did have a cake for me
.and I had a piece thank goodness it was angel food cake..6 -
Hmm July resolutions? I want to keep going with tracking and stay under 1200 calories. And I want to strengthen my quads and get back to walking.

🐻 Bear/Raccoon- Ammonia does sound like a better deterrent! We used to use moth balls too they get rid of snakes 🐍 y scorpions 🦂 if tossed under a home also. JRs not the right age to use them again just yet.
Daughter still not on plane yet she has to work a few hours before shipping out due to higher rank. That way everyone gets where their going on time y people taking her job have a hand to guide before she hands the Paton 100%

Update on June Goals:-
My word for June was PERSERVERANCE- With daily Physio for my knee and elbow. I need to be more mindful of not worsening this problem by making unwise exercise choices. It's chastening to know that so much pain was a result of my own foolishness.
- With my daily goals
- With achieving my target weight
I am grateful that I have the inner reserves to work through problems.
I am greatful that I have a supportive network to encourage my efforts
June Goals- Log food daily/stay under goal ✅
- 6000 steps a day ✅
- 30+ minutes intentional exercise daily ✅
- Weigh less at the end than at the beginning! [/b]✅ 1 lb down

So for lunch today I had 3 pieces of chicken tenders that Tyson makes, with two slices of pepper jack over them. Then I warned up two flour tortillas, a small single serving size of avocado already preped, two big handfuls of fresh baby spinach, 6 hamburger dill pickle slices, and 2 big fork fulls of diced tomatoes . Pretty much all I'm eating today. It made two wraps!
This morning was a container of Greek yogurt and some oatmeal blueberry flats.
Oh hey my no is currently 112/72. I am happy!

Had a lovely light lunch of seafood under an umbrella. My friend was recovering from a couple of months of working as a divorce lawyer at the age of 70. Knackered. She needs to work on and off for money and also because she is lonely at home. She is worried about the coming reunion, so a bit anxious all round. I very much enjoyed myself though. I know I am very lucky to be in a supportive relationship. I admire those who manage to live alone. Not for wimps. I don't know what I would do if I was left alone. I might have to go to one of those retirement communities! I am useless by myself.
After I got back to Hove on the train I didn't really feel like just going home. I rang DH and then walked over to the cricket and they let me in for free. I watched 45 mins in the sunshine and then we walked down to our favourite pizza restaurant. Oh dear! Thoroughly enjoyed my naughty pizza with red wine, but I will have to rein back from now on. We walked down to the supermarket to pick up some food for tomorrow, so I have done quite a bit of walking today. Nowhere near enough for the pizza though!
