It feels so good to wake up and not immediately begin thinking about what I ate last night. My mind feels clear and I feel at peace.
What I did differently was I ate enough during the day and I planned out an appropriate snack for the evening at 7:00 pm.
Before I would not eat enough during the day and then I would wake up an hour after falling asleep and overeat.

Last night I had a protein shake in the evening but it fit into my calorie goal and it was a much better choice than a pint of icecream so I'm counting it as a victory huzzah!!3 -

For me having a healthy snack after dinner is fine like wheaties or oatmeal and fruit or yogurt ect....
