I am doing a lot of weight lifting so I know I’ll be gaining muscle mass. I don’t want that number on the scale to deter me from how I feel/look. NSV (non scale victories) are just as important.

Final weigh in! Overall, I’m very pleased with this month. I passed my goal. I never missed a workout and I never felt hungry or deprived (it’s all about eating the foods/drinks we love in moderation). I learned a lot about my relationship with food, the things my body loves and hates, and the things I just don’t have great willpower over right now. Everyday was not perfect and I’m ok with that. Onward and upward! ✌🏻❤️😃6 -

Jun 30- Final weigh-in for June! Obviously, my scale is still doing funny things as the weigh-in yesterday showed an increase from the week prior. It's also possible that weighing after my workout might explain yesterday's weight. Whatever the explanation to this scale mystery, I am ecstatic to have met my goal for this month.
That said, I want to slow down the weight loss moving forward as I definitely was fatigued mentally and physically last week. Also, I can see how I might develop harmful thought patterns if I am relying solely on a scale number to validate my efforts. Nonetheless, congratulations to all! Maybe see you next month!3 -

Well, I finished weighing less than what I was at the start of the challenge so I'll take it! Even though my weight hasn't budged much I did lose half an inch off my waist! I've been exercising consistently for about three weeks now, which is a big accomplishment to me. I didn't even tell myself that I had to exercise everyday, I just did it because I wanted to! I even went for a run one day and it was really nice!
In other news I got a few pairs of jeans and a skirt all in size 8 and they felt a little loose! I can't believe that a size 8 is feeling loose!!! I used to fit into a size 12 or 14 depending on the clothes, but now I wear single digit sizes and it's insane! So, I suppose I did make progress this month but it just wasn't on the scale.
