Starting over and looking for accountability.
In addition to a long term ultimate goal weight, Iโm setting shorter horizon goals, too, just to keep myself from getting overwhelmed. Iโm off to a good start with logging meals and getting in some activity. As the month progresses I want to up my activity level as well, but Iโve learned from experience that taking things slow and steady is much more sustainable than trying to do it all out of the gate.

Well I had a big loss this week, but some of that may be what I call โunnatural.โ I had what we suspect was a gallbladder attack and didnโt eat for about 1 1/2 days because I didnโt want to eat after it, and then I had to wait until after the ultrasound to eat again because they wanted my stomach totally empty, and it took a long time to get around to the ultrasound. So itโs kinda nice to have a big loss, but the probable reason for most of the loss is not so nice!!!

Just had a baby (March 5). Lost 20lbs within the first two weeks postpartum, then gained most of it back with being stuck at home and stress eating.

Looking forward to joining all of you! After a frustrating couple of months and a real slack off in my exercise effort, Iโm heading back to Pilates today and hope to get my data driving in the right direction. In April, I started a Pescatarian diet, in May I added an Intermittent Eating regimen and now, in June, itโs time to focus on weight loss. I stay under 1500 calories. I have yet to experience any weight loss.

Trying to get back to logging food accurately is challenging, but love that we're moving into a season where fresh produce is more readily available. I'm trying my hand at growing some greens and herbs.

First time posting on MFP!
My weight loss journey started 14 months ago, resulting in a loss of 60lbs. During the quarantine, I upped my physical activity and started intermittent fasting. While still eating clean, I was not tracking total consumed calories because I've always been adverse to calorie/food tracking and wanted to just be "intuitive" about my eating. But these past few weeks, it was immensely discouraging to see no weight loss despite all the hard work I've been putting myself through. Anyways, I've decided to change it up for June, joined MFP, and have start tracking those damn calories for the first time ever.
Lo and behold, after the first week of tracking, the scale finally budged: -4lbs. So, groan, what everyone has always been saying is true: track your food. I still want to resist, but I'm committing for June.

June 1 : 250.4 As of the conclusion of the 9:30 video staff meeting, this school year is officially over. I lost 20lbs last summer, going to try for 30 this summer.
June 6: 248. 2.4 lbs down this week after a slight increase last week. In-laws are in town this weekend, so eating out might complicate things a bit for next week.

Going to jump in to this challenge now. Need some motivation to get out of lockdown and get off the couch and stop mindless snacking! Kids are coming home from college this week. Eating less may be a challenge, but getting more exercise should be easy, as they like to get out and hike and ride bikes.
