I'M Tami :) Better known as Mamaw :) I am 52 and just today I was telling hubs I needed something... I looked at another drink mix on the market, quickly said no as I reminded myself how much I hate drinks lol then I looked at the over costly noom, said NO as I shouldn't have to pay and arm just to get the rest of this weight off :) i'm here though and looking for support.

Welcome to the group. You'll get lots of support and advice from this great bunch of gals. Just ask and someone will have an answer for you.

    Sorry for your loss

JRs head grew again so yes bobble head again. Had ambulance come out he ran fast y fell hard ouch, they felt we over reacted should just ice it y go on with life. The younger ones with the older senior driver looked like they will now never have kids. Luckily ice 🧊 brought his bruise down it swelled up but went down looked fine again. He runs like a ram 🐏 goat head down arms back full charge!! Bam 💥 no hands out if he trips y falls.

Hugs for all tonight! Those suffering loss. Those with medical issues. I reckon Hugs for ALL is appropriate!

Yes, we have security cameras and license numbers, but amazingly both vehicles were "borrowed ". Borrowed my *kitten*! Today I chained down all the saws. If someone wants to look at one we have to unlock. Pain in the *kitten* but necessary to keep me safe since I keep chasing them down. Had to call the police today again on a bad check. Our losses this month are around $5000! What sucks is each incident is a felony, but they know the law so well that if they are caught, they will get a slap on the wrist and be back at it again. 🤬

Tomorrow is a new day! Looking forward to it.

Michele- You are out and about a lot. I found a grocery delivery service yesterday with which I had a great experience. I ordered at 8:30am and had my items by 10:30am. The shopper sent me a text if they didn't have what I wanted so I could decide to ditch it or substitute it. I asked for non-ripened avocados and that is what I got! It was a very personalized experience. I never have to leave the house to go grocery shopping again! I used one last week that goes to the more "specialty" stores that I will use too, so I can even get my gourmet cheese delivered!

There is one store I do like peruse because they have new and interesting items all the time. Otherwise, grocery shopping is a mostly unpleasant chore for me.

    Have a great day, All!

    Tina in CA

I have been ordering my groceries online and having them delivered since my husband came home from the hospital 2 years ago.

It is really easy to place the order, and the more we order the smaller the delivery charge. I think it was $7 for this week's delivery.

I figure that is pretty good given that it saves me time and money to go to the store.

I place the order throughout the week. When I think of something we need I quickly log in and select it. Then on a certain day (it varies), I go online and complete the order. It asks me if I've forgotten anything and presents me with a selection of things I usually order but haven't that time. Then it shows me my order and I can put in notes about what I want to do for substitution. And I can choose a time block when I want it delivered.

I rarely go into a grocery store.

Since I returned to work this week, I've headed outside at lunch. On the first day I had to a little bit of shopping to set up my desk area again but the remaining three days, I've just gone for walks and tried to avoid people.

    I got a 3 km walk in today. :)

    Finding Boots

When did the days of real leather boots disappear?
The days before faux was a commonly used word
The times when leather was the hide of a steer

I remember stingray from the Great Barrier Reef
Real leather howbeit exotic and expensive
unlike boots made from the hides of beef

Are these real lizard skin? Why yes Maam
China made best left unworn in the shade
In the sun the crocodile came right off of them

So with careful consideration, I chose suede called faux
Stretch fabric, side zipper, ankle-high, or up to the knee
And hells bells, etc., I don't have to wear socks

    Good morning,

Looking for insight....I have a friend that has lost a lot of weight in only 4 months. Last night she said they (her and husband) are 70% fat, 20% protein, and 10% carbs. Not calorie counting. Just macros. This just doesn't seem healthy to me and am concerned. I undertand that lots of bloodwork has come back better due to weight loss, but is this really a healthy lifestyle change? Not judging, just concerned. Insights appreciated.

Kylia in Ohio really not wanting to go to work, yet thankful I have a job
