Just Give Me 10 Days ~ Round 119

Looking forward:
I'm just too danged cussed to let this thing knock me back, and ruin all the effort I have put in to get here. I am stepping up my routine, and taking control. Sheltering in place means I can fully concentrate on getting in my exercise, and preparing healthy food.
July: focus is on improving stamina, strength, flexibility, which may impact the scale
Aims:- 2020: Goal is to stabilise weight around 145
- Strengthen strategies to reframe the tendency to use unhealthy snack food as a reward/treat.
- Make sure I have prepared healthy snacks available
- Cut down on eating between meals by keeping busy
Back Story:2018 goal: get back down to 160 ✅JGM10D ~|~ Round 118 🔹Posting weight and comments each evening.
2019 goal: proceed down to 150 ✅ with 2 months to spare
2020 goal: maintain below 150 dropping slowly down to 145 ✅ So far, so good.
That's a WIN in my book!
2020
Focus: maintenance! I might even manage to lose a bit more ever so slowly.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~|~ Round 119 (round 51 for me ) I'm in for another round (of course!) – I need to just keep going! Yet again thank you @GrandmaJackie, such a champion particularly in these unprecidented times, helping keep some stability in our lives, for setting up these challenges.
Female age 62 5' 4” - Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !
Goal – get back to 133 for this round.... - aim to get back to & stick with good habits: be mindful of what I eat & drink, keep walking, no binges, really want to keep the 10 days binge free! Keep calm, wash hands, be kind and follow all latest Government guidelines for C-19 virus.

07/06–177.2 I’m pretty pleased with my control over the holiday weekend. I did make a dessert for the 4th, but worked it into my calories for the day (two actually) and continued to lose a little along the way. That’s progress. No self-sabotage on this holiday weekend! I’ll call that a win!
07/07–176.2 Got up early to get my walk in before it became a scorcher of a day here yesterday. Then I managed to stay under in calories despite giving in to some fresh made tortilla chips my daughter brought over—they were still warm! Drank lots of water though yesterday, and will need to do that again today to combat that salt. Still may bounce back up a bit, but at least I’m very happy with the trend right now!
07/08–176.4 Just normal fluctuation. Was well within calorie range, but rested yesterday, so no formal exercise. I have begun to play with IF again. Did 16:8 the day before and 17:7 yesterday. Will just see if that is a good addition to all the other things I’ve changed the last few weeks. I won’t go extreme, though, and may not do it everyday. Just looking at it as another tool in the toolbox.
07/09–175.6 Another really good day yesterday. Got up early for my walk, ate well within plan even though we ate out last night. I was super careful with my choices at dinner, but enjoyed it immensely. We got a rain which cooled things off late in the day, so I went out for another walk after dinner. I’m enjoying these drops, but I also know it will slow WAY down before very long. Did 17:7 IF.
07/10–176.4 I did wonder yesterday about that drop, so I guess this means it was a fluke. It’s ok. I am more in control now than I’ve been in over a year. I did make homemade panini sandwiches for dinner last night for the family and had part of one, so maybe it was the bread. Haven’t had much bread of late. Did 18:6 IF.
07/11–176.4 I’m not sad about this. We had a celebratory lunch with my daughter yesterday at a restaurant. I tried to choose well, but I know there was lots of salt and more fat than I’m used to in the meal. Compensated well the rest of the day and got in some extra exercise to boot. Gotta keep pushing water today to make sure that salt doesn’t bite me tomorrow! Did 18:6 IF. Happy weekend everyone! WE GOT THIS!
07/12–176 Visited a local farmer’s market yesterday morning and made a haul on fresh fruits and vegetables. Came home and spent the afternoon helping my daughter make baby food from them, and had such a wonderful time. Then made dinner mostly out of what we bought. I had never tried Mediterranean zucchini until last night, and it was scrumptious!
07/13–176.2 I just knew I would break through to 175-something this morning. Had another good day yesterday with food and did some strenuous gardening, too. I’ve been inspired by @SheilaBoneham to get to work on my backyard. It’s pretty ho-hum right now, but with the new grand baby, I’m going to want her to have a magical place to play in the coming years. So, I’ve made a plan and begun the execution of it. Thanks, Sheila! Maybe the round-goal will come tomorrow. Incentive to do well again today!

07/07 - 146 - After my 4 day weekend, I'm going to really have to watch my calories for the next couple weeks. It really struck me during the weekend, how easy it was for me to get back into my old eating habits when there are numerous high calorie foods and snacks sitting around. We threw all our leftover picnic goodies in the freezer last night to be portioned out over the next month or so. And if we couldn't freeze it, I threw it away...quiltingjaine taught me that a while ago.

07/07 205 Most of the weekend water retention is gone.
07/08 203.8 Yay! Thirty pounds down! (And the rest of the water retention gone.)
07/09 203.4
07/10 202.8 My pattern the last few weeks has been to lose during the weekdays and gain a bit on the weekends, but overall I am down 1.5-2 pounds a week. This is 1.8 down from last Friday morning. I'd like to get back here by the end of the challenge because my weekend will include plenty of food I haven't cooked and I will have to estimate the nutritional information about.
07/11 DNW No access to a scale and went over maintenance calories by almost 200, but if I do that two days a week, I tend to still lose well the following week. I'll eat around maintenance again today and get back to a deficit on Sunday.
07/12 DNW. No scale. Will be back to weighing tomorrow morning and expect to be up a couple of pounds because I have eaten at maintenance the last two days. That's okay. I should be able to lose that weight (which should be mostly water weight) by the end of the challenge. Back to a deficit today.
07/13 204.6. No surprise here. It will be back to where it was later this week. Found out yesterday about a get together that is happening tonight that I have to attend. I have no control again over the food being served and it's happening outside of my feeding window, so I've decided to just eat what I make (and can weigh and know exactly what the calorie and macro counts are) ahead of time.

07/07: feeling a bit lazy ~ good day to try some new stretching videos. (IF 15; 3 small meals, 9,847 steps ~ 2,182 burned ~ 1,286 consumed)
07/08: pushed past the lazy (it was hard! ~ best effort 75%-80% all day). Cardio, more toning and a TaeBo weight work yesterday. I've already did a bit of stretching; more later. Excited to start a virtual workout with a friend in Texas in desperate need of a workout buddy to help get back on track. I'll be in cheerleader mode for the next hour, lol ~ should be fun!
07/09: ended up 3 of us working out together ~ NY, TX and TN ~ was a great motivator for each uf us! We've committed to 3x a week for the rest of the month. Other than than, IF was only 12 hours; 2 small meals but also had a lovely bowl of captain crunch LNS. Step wise, recorded less than 3K ~ but it was hot, I was naked and could care less. Needed some "vitametavegemin" all day, lol. Feeling a bit better energy wise, but still taking it easy ~ (Darebee Hourglass & Daily Workouts for 35 minutes, Fat Loss Cardio 45 minutes and 10 mins of stretching) might be all there is today.
07/10: IF 16; 3 small meals; 8512 steps on a new Fitness Tracker. I'd been recording steps using an app on the phone and always knew it was slightly off .... but shocked @ how big the difference actually is!! Regarding my diet ~ been eating much lighter this week and there's obvious difference in energy and stamina levels because of it. (70-80% all week). Since I'm "lightening the load" primarily to give my system a break, I'd like to continue for maybe another week. Plan to keep movements easy and up my protein intake.
Overall though, feeling pretty good about other changes I'm beginning to see and feel within and without.

7/8: 173.2 a loss going into my mini vacation is a bonus!
7/9: DNW Camping, but had tons of activity. Maybe it will counter balance the copious amount of booze I drink last night... Good on calories, not so good on nutrition.
7/10:DNW Camping, yesterday was a blast, but I’m plum tuckered out. Ray day today. Expect a slight gain after this trip.
7/11: 172.8, yahoo! A loss after my outing, hoped for but unexpected. I was more active than I was glutinous. Yea me!
7/12: 173.0 did a 27 mile bike ride yesterday, but ate dinner late. I’m guessing the food just hasn’t had time to “process”.
7/13: 173.4 Was so hungry I couldn't sleep last night and had a late night snack. Very unusual for me. Such is life.

Day/Weight/Comment
07/06: 177.6- First day tracking! My hubby is doing this with me to keep myself accountable. Tracked breakfast and ready to start my workout.
07/07: 177.4- I already feel so much better. I have been fighting the feeling of being bloated all the time.
07/08: 174.8- It really helps that my hubby is doing this with me. He doesn't need to lose weight, but he's even seeing the benefit of tracking food. It can be surprising how much a person really eats when you track it! We normally would have bought a couple bags of chips, but we decided to get some carrots and bananas to snack on. That's huge for us! Making healthy choices together💪
07/09: 174.4- I made sure to pack and track my own lunch on my trip instead of getting fast food.
07/10: 174- Tracking can be tedious but it's been worth it. I've been continuing my workout plan I've been on since May. I definitely FEEL BETTER! I know it's not all about what the scale says. I've only been tracking a few days but I already feel like a new person.
07/11: forgot to weigh in, but I've been on track with calories
07/12: 172
07/13: 172.8- overall a good day of tracking. Our meals had lots of sodium in them so I'm most likely retaining water.

About me:I love learning about food and everything about it; from the way it acts in the body to learning to cook a new recipe. I went to school for nutrition (got my bachelor's) but I didn’t become an RD because it didn’t feel like the path for me. I guess I wanted to keep it as more of an interest instead of a career. I then went into public health to further my education and I currently help medically complex patients by connecting them with community resources to improve their health and life. I enjoy helping family and friends when they ask for advice related to food and nutrition. Plus, it helps me brush up on what I spent so much time learning!Previous days entries:
I’m here because when I’m not paying attention to what I eat, I start to gain and feel uncomfortable in my body. For me that results in frustration and a lot of other emotions. It has also increased my cholesterol in the past (It’s good now as far as I know thanks to diet and exercise). I have a family history of diabetes, heart disease, and all that fun stuff. So, I want to prevent that for myself by getting a hold of my food habits now.
I’m always open to conversation about food and nutrition, so feel to reach out to me!07/06 116.6 Happy Monday everyone! This morning we did a good soccer workout for some exercise. Today is our produce CSA day and I’m looking forward to all the fun fruits and vegetables we’ll be picking up!
07/07 116.2 Hi! Not sure if the weight is right but I’ll go with it. I had the same number for like 5 days so I took one of the scale batteries out and put it back in which resulted in this number after it reading 116.6 minutes beforehand. Yesterday was fun picking up the CSA. This week we got summer squash, zucchini, kousa squash, peas, beets with greens, hakurei turnips with greens, kale, spigariello, green leaf lettuce, a cucumber, a small tomato, basil, scallions, strawberries and apples.
We went for a nice walk this morning coming in at 5ish miles. Today my sister in law and I will go pick up our monthly meat CSA which will be another fun adventure of new food options in the house! Not sure what’s on the agenda for dinner tonight except that I want to have some watermelon and feta cheese salad. I love that salty sweet combo! Have a good day everyone!
07/08 116.8 Yesterday was a really fun day/night. It was awesome to pick up the meat CSA and to fill the freezer with new cuts of meat that we haven’t had in while! Then, my husband and I had some wine and played poker. Dinner was a wash of eating jalapeno poppers and a watermelon/feta salad. He had the poppers with fries and I ate the salad and poppers. I guess that’s a half way decent food compromise. I didn’t stress about the excessive calories because it was about having fun last night. We also finally looked at our wedding pictures and watched some of the videos from it. Watching the video of our entire family (both sides) singing and dancing to Paradise by the Dashboard Lights by Meatloaf is one of the memories I will never forget from that day. It still brings so much joy just to watch the video of it.
Today is a recovery day of sorts and I’m just trying to focus on eating light and not caving too much into the cravings for all the high calorie foods after a night of a few glasses of wine. 😊 I did manage to do a reduced soccer workout this morning with my father in law because even though I drank I didn’t feel icky this morning luckily.
07/09 116.8 Oh how I love water weight retention lol. I’m going to have more because of my cycle and splurging on Chinese takeout food tonight because it has been 4 months. Busy day today with work which equals a not too chatty post. We did get a nice walk in this morning though! Have a good day!
07/19 118.2 Yuck…I hate the after effects of Chinese takeout food….but it tasted so good as a treat! Now back to eating more normally for me today 😊. We did an awesome soccer workout this morning, so that helped me sweat some salt/water retention out. For meals I have yogurt, strawberries, and granola planned for my breakfast and I’m really looking forward to it! I’ll be eating a lot of the CSA veggies today because we haven’t gone through too many. So I’ll probably be grilling or roasting some CSA squash, beets, hakurei turnips, and an eggplant I picked from our raised bed to go with our dinner tonight. I want to put them on top of a kale salad that has a basil cilantro chimichurri dressing on it. I’ll probably throw some more fresh basil in it too because our plants need some pruning/picking so they don’t flower.
07/11 118.0 Yesterday was a decent day for food. My breakfast was so good yesterday. I love the simplicity of fresh & in season fruit, yogurt, and granola. Although, to avoid having to place an online order for more yogurt I think next week my breakfast may consist of eggs and a healthy/high fiber muffin instead. Plus, it’ll be good to switch it up and eating the eggs will encourage me to use more of the CSA veggies in a new way. I’m thinking I might make a frittata with some CSA veggies. My dinner last night was a weird one because we found out some not so great news about my mother in law which made me not want to cook much for dinner. So, I finished up the last of my scallion pancakes (5 triangles worth), ate half of an apple muffin and had 6 dolmas that were in my pantry. But I really am excited to eat a lot of veggies today with my meals 😊. Not the worst dinner in the world but not the best. I still logged everything which was good though.
07/12 117.2 Yesterday was a good day for food. I had my typical breakfast and didn’t even feel the need to snack. I also didn’t exercise, so that kept the hunger levels down. I cooked an early dinner of jerk chicken leg quarters with kale and spigariello salad, roasted summer squashes, miso honey butter roasted beets and hakurei turnips. The beets and turnips were so so yummy with the miso honey butter concoction! I think I’ll be trying that mixture on a lot of root vegetables this fall. It’ll taste so good with sweet potatoes and butternut squash too!
I plan on making that frittata for breakfast today. It’ll have roasted summer squash, fresh scallions, bacon, shredded beet greens and turnip greens, American and cheddar cheese, a dollop of Greek yogurt, and some salt and pepper.
07/13 116.7 Yesterday was a chill day and the frittata I made came out really good, so I’m looking forward to that for breakfast today. We did mellow workout this morning because we were both tired. I enjoyed the change of pace. It’s CSA day today and was informed by the farmer’s that we’ll be getting a lot of Asian greens this week. It’ll be fun to try new recipes with some greens I’ve never tried before. 😊 Have a happy Monday everyone!

Month/Day: Weight / Comment
07/06: 212.4 / Off to a rip-roaring start here after the holiday weekend. This will be a tough ten days for me with my birthday plopped right in the middle of it. I will be happy if I can just get my ten day average down .01 #.
07/07: 212.2 / Nutritionally a good day yesterday except for the high salt content.
07/08: 213 / I little birthday Pizza and Pie with Son & his family last night. This is going to be a tough round for me!
07/09: 211.4 / We travel to DW’s sister and her husband’s place later today for a long weekend. I may not enter any weights until Monday due to complications of inconsistent schedule and uncalibrated scale. I am going to try to walk a lot and drink a lot of water. That may offset the way our hosts will surely spoil us with food. I think a German Chocolate birthday cake is being prepared. 😊

Here we go again! And I’m determined to make at least a little progress this time. Jeesh! It’s really hot here with air quality advisory today, but I’m going for at least a short walk. Salmon-egg-guac salad for lunch, lentils & rice for dinner, and I had a low cal breakfast. Today’s my “breakout day”!
7/7 - 181
It’s a beautiful morning here, but already hot and we have a heat and ozone advisory for later, so I’m doing my gardening and walking early. I have some seeds to plant —starts for a new bed I’m planning. I love watching seedlings grow! My day’s menu is planned and lunch made (remains from yesterday). It was so yummy and easy, I thought I’d share In case anyone’s looking for a new summery salad. Recipe: 1 can salmon (I like Wild Planet wild caught pink), 2 hard boiled eggs, guacamole (I use one Wholly Guacamole mini pack), slaw mix (I use mixed broccoli, carrot, cabbage), chopped raw veggies & herbs to taste (bell pepper, celery, green onion or chives, basil, cilantro all work well). Tasty, filling, healthful.

Whew, yep, it’s July in Indiana, that’s for sure! Hot hot hot! Considering ice cream for all my meals. 😁 Okay, salads. 🥗🥦🥕🥒🥬🍓🥙

I’m sitting on my patio, smiling at my garden this morning. When we moved into this house, this entire perimeter of the backyard was a narrow band of river rock. I wish I could invite you all over for iced tea! The photo doesn’t do the colors justice in the hot sun, but still. I’ve seen four kinds of butterflies, lots of beautiful bees, lots of birds, including 6 goldfinches, and bunnies and chipmunks this morning.
7/10 - 180.6
Peaches! We got a big bunch of peaches, and they’re perfect! I made a galette with some yesterday — simple to make, delicious, and about half the calories of peach pie. Watched my calories the rest of the day and fit a piece in. Yum!
7/11 - 181
Not entirely unexpected since we had carry-out Thai yesterday. Not as salty as Chinese, but saltier than I usually eat. I stuck with veggie stir fry with chicken, though — no high-cal mussaman curry, which I love! Anyway, tomorrow will be better, I’m sure. Gorgeous day here — planning to catch up on weeding and deadheading before the heat returns next week. And I’m going to check on the 1500 ladybugs I released in my garden yesterday. Take that, aphids! Have a glorious weekend, all!
7/12 - 181
Thai leftovers and some snacking because I dunno why.

I confess, I went a little nuts over the weekend. All reasonably healthful, but too much of it. I do feel a bit bloated, so some of this is water, but still....Anyway, this week’s temps are supposed to be more reasonable than last week‘s, so I’ll get back to nice, long walks. 👟 Still hopeful to be down a tad by Wed. Happy Monday, all!

07/06: 184.4 Wow, I really did a number on myself. Went on a full fledged binge and gained 5 pounds since Friday morning!! Some of it is salt/water of course, but 5 pounds!! And I feel horrible. Bloated, stomach cramps.
07/07: 184.4 Still overate again. Not as bad as Saturday/Sunday but not yet back to my healthy eating. I had stopped writing in my journal or planning my day—stepped completely away from accountability. Well I’m back now. With work to do!
07/08 184.8 Wow, I really didn’t think you could gain 5 pounds in 3 days of real weight. But this is sticking around. I ate much better today, got some exercise...and I’m up even higher now! I still have to be gentle with myself today, getting restrictive and punitive will be counterproductive but I am sad. But I have my plan for today, including snacks, so hopefully I can gently lead myself back to the path of health.
07/09 184.0 At least it’s in the right direction. Last time I weighed this much was 31 days ago—I wiped out a full month of progress with one weekend. 😭 But I was successfully back on plan again yesterday, ate green, tracked, journaled, exercised. There’s no true end date to this work so I have to just keep at it.
07/10 182.6 Forgot to post this morning, even with a “good” number. Happy scale still shows red under the curve (first time I’ve gained enough and it stuck enough that it turned red). But going in the right direction.
07/11 181.0 Yay! Sodium is working it’s way out, I’m on my way down. Happy Scale is now green again (though my average is 2 pounds higher). Now to be intentional with my eating today, don’t “weekend it”.
07/12 181.2 Not bad for a Sunday morning. Today I’m going to stick to my “eating Windows” as a way to combat the unstructured time grazing.
07/13 181.6 Not sure why this went up as my calories were low and no excessive sodium I can think of. Totally pounded water yesterday because of the heat. Probably because I ate my snack late? Oh well at least not much of a blip.

07/06 -175.6 - First day back to work from home [WFH]. Gym sore.
07/07 - 175.1 Gym streak continued. 5th day of not eating back the calories earned. This round will be an interesting weight-flux battle between fat, water & muscle. May the muscle win!
07/08 - 174.8 - No gym. Eating on track. Water wins this weigh day.
07/09 - 174.8 - Gym + extra walk with the pup. It was FINALLY cool enough for her to make her neighborhood rounds--can't say no to that! Back to work schedule made it hard for me to eat my MFP minimum calories for the day by 7p.m. so broke my IF and ate the rest of the cals by 8 p.m. Left the 525 calories-earned (plus 200 more from daily allowance) on the table--so, I'm giving this weigh day to...MUSCLE. (Found some more new ones I'm feeling today)
07/10 - 174.2 Proof you can eat pizza (within your MFP calorie limits of course)!! Had to eat back my earned treadmill calories to do it though. Worth every bite.
07/11 - 174.1 500+ calories over MFP goal due to some amazing custard. Sadly, never had the chance to work them off as the hubs picked me up from my outdoor walk with news of a tragic death of a close friend's son. 30 y.o. ; married less than two years with a 3 month old son. If you are the praying kind, please send some up for his family, especially his wife and their baby. 🙏
07/12 - 174.1
07/13- 173.6 Emotional weekend that I suspect will continue throughout this round. IF out the window as well as normal food selections, exercise, etc. Still logging and staying as close to the MFP goals as possible. Hopefully WFH will get me back on track today. Time to SPRINT if I intend to make it to my Round 119 goal.

@Katterin227 I love that you make a weight prediction before stepping on the scale. I'm doing that now, too. So far I've not been right!
@SheilaBoneham "...snacking, I dunno why" You crack me up. Sometimes it's just because right?!
@kramereh way to prove that just because it's a weekend, doesn't mean you have to choose between staying accountable or having fun!
@beachbody41YAY! You got your scale out of quarantine and got it to move down--YAY you!
@Kuhl50 What are your "eating windows"? Are they tied to IF?
@carol7878 Cancer sucks. So sorry you lost your friends to such a horrible disease. I pray knowing they are no longer hurting can help you find closure.
@TerriRichardson112 Your earlier insight that exercise/training can impact water fluxs is a good one. We shouldn't cringe at those blips and flips, right? Mine usually mean a whoosh is coming! Speaking of whoosh...
@eminater Way to Whoosh! Love you are in "onederland" and your sense of humor--you are so clever!
@_JeffreyD_ Welcome back! Hope you each oz you lose comes with a good family memory for each of those little 2#. Let what went on, come off with 32 smiles!
@UTMom81 You are a new Grandma! Congrats. Can't wait to see your magical backyard progress!
@FitBy_50 Great proactive approach to make/take your own food to your outing. Wonderful insight to how we can remain accountable and stay true to our methods. Would have been so easy for you to continue your weekend strategy for one more day--but you didn't!

07/06: 149.3 - I love this format, 10 day chunks really keep me motivated. I am a small fraction up due to partying on Saturday, hoping to get rid of it quickly.
07/07: 149.1 - Good, back to my end weight from last round.
07/08: 149.4 - Staying disciplined. I still let fluctuations bother me a bit.
07/09: 148.4 - Slept in today so got a great number.
07/10: 148.7 - I will be so happy if I can stay this entire 10 days under 150. Trying.
07/11: 148.8
07/12: 150.1 - Up at 4am, so possibly just to early to be weighing. I wanted to start drinking water, coffee etc. so weighed early anyway. Hoping to normalize the scale tomorrow.

Round 119 - Started MFP and 10-Day Challenge 12/27/19 - 186.0 (Heaviest weight ever!) I'm happy to have lost 10 pounds, but, man, it has taken a long time but mainly because I keep losing the same pounds over and over again.
Goal this round:
Do NOT eat sugar or white flour. These are my downfall. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I eat healthy most days except when I go on a binge for days. And what causes my binges/cravings? sugar and white flour
07/06 - 175.1 Huh? Too much salt, not enough water the past few days.
07/07 - 174.9
07/08 - 174.7
I usually stop eating around 5p each day. Last night around 7:30p I was so hungry I decided to eat a small amount over my calorie limit. I also chose something healthy - 2 carrots with ranch dressing that I made a few days ago with mostly buttermilk (only 100 calories a cup) and very little sour cream and mayo (I would have used plain yogurt but didn't have any). I also ate a small serving of leftover summer squash and cauliflower rice. I look at last night as a WIN because I got more vegetables in for the day, and because I chose healthy food and went over my calorie limit a little vs. the old me that would have had an all out binge. YAY!
07/09 - 174.7
07/10 - 174.7 Staying patient while I keep focused on all the healthy changes I'm making and all the little NSVs.
07/11 - 174.5
07/12 - 174.4
07/12 - 174.7 Up a little - salty popcorn. I've started eating popcorn as a snack a few days a week (1 serving = 120 calories). I use an air popper but I use way too much salt (and on pretty much everything else too). I hardly ever eat processed foods so most comes from what I just put on my food. I read for an adult, you should have no more than 1 tsp a day. I'm going to measure out a tsp each day and only use that. I'm curious to see how much I was actually using and if I can start enjoying my food without it. I think it's one of those things that you can stop your body from wanting so much when you don't eat it. I know that's true with sugar and think it is with salt as well. I'll soon find out!

@Tesha231 I'm behind on posts and just saw yours from a few days ago. How so very tragic. There are no words for how sad it is. So young, 30 years old, and I can't even imagine what his young wife is going thru, and his parents. With friends like you, and a caring family, hopefully she'll find some way to get thru it. I'm so very sorry. I'm praying for her and her child.5

Ready for round 119 {56th for me}
OSW 88KG
RSW 61.05 (-26. 95kg) or {59.4lbs}
I reached my ultimate goal of 58kg last round then totally sabotaged myself ending up the biggest I've been this year! Goal this round is to get under 60kg.
07/06 61.05kg and a fresh start. It's Monday. It's Independence Day 🇲🇼 and I've worked out even though it's a holiday. Back on it counting every calorie and every carb.
07/07 60.45kg. It did go to 60.15 but I'm save that for tomorrow! Kept it all good yesterday and beat the snacking demon. Need to do the same again today.
07/08 60.10kg which is good. Got a special lunch out tomorrow so I'm going to be super mindful and careful today.
07/09 58.95kg I was sick yesterday and didn't eat so I doubt this number is real. Hoping I'm well for my much anticipated lunch.
07/10 59.25kg. Totally fine with that. Feeling loads better and went to lovely lunch yesterday. Back to calorie and carb control but I've missed exercise these last 2 days.
07/11 59.55kg just glad to be feeling better!
07/12 59.90kg.Still good with this. Exercise starts again tomorrow and I'm on holiday for weeks.
07/13 60.1kg exercises restarted and I'm a kg down from last Monday.
