I'm just too danged cussed to let this thing knock me back, and ruin all the effort I have put in to get here. I am stepping up my routine, and taking control. Sheltering in place means I can fully concentrate on getting in my exercise, and preparing healthy food.
July: focus is on improving stamina, strength, flexibility, which may impact the scale
Aims:
- 2020: Goal is to stabilise weight around 145
- Strengthen strategies to reframe the tendency to use unhealthy snack food as a reward/treat.
- Make sure I have prepared healthy snacks available
- Cut down on eating between meals by keeping busy
Back Story:2018 goal: get back down to 160 ✅JGM10D ~|~ Round 118 🔹Posting weight and comments each evening.
2019 goal: proceed down to 150 ✅ with 2 months to spare
2020 goal: maintain below 150 dropping slowly down to 145 ✅ So far, so good.
That's a WIN in my book!
2020
Focus: maintenance! I might even manage to lose a bit more ever so slowly.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

To all our French Friends: have a safe and wonderful Independence Day!4 -
@musicsax I am praying for that very possible miracle for your DGS. My prayers also go out to you, your DD and SIL, as well as the rest of the families.3

Day/Weight/Comment
07/05 …..207.8….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
07/06 …..207.5 ….. I did really well during the holiday weekend. I couldn’t afford a set-back. Too busy for planned exercise, not enough water and little to no sleep but at least the diet was on point and the scale rewarded me a bit for that! Good luck everyone this round. You guys are Rocking It!!!!
07/77 …..208.6 ….. A small cheeseburger from McDonald’s with water. It tasted like a salt shaker (again). I forgot how salty!!!! Wow how my tastebuds have changed. This is probably fluid retention. Tomorrow will tell.
07/08 …..208.4 ….. Downward I go. Just not fast enough but patience is a virtue and so I’ll stay calm.
07/09 …..208.4 ….. There is not enough water on this EARTH for the thirst that I am experiencing!!!!
07/10 …..209.0 ….. Mexican food – half for lunch and half for dinner. Actually did not finish the dinner and completely ignored the rice, throwing it away too. Growing up so poor, it is not always easy for me to throw away food or not finish what is on my plate, so I call this a NSV for me. I am trying to learn that it is okay to be full and not need to eat more just because it’s not all gone yet. Today I will try to get the scale back down and drink more water too.
07/11 …..209.8 ….. WTHeck? I food prepped, ate low carb diet well and kept calories way down. Still retaining some sort of water? I don’t know how when I am sweating like this. I am not going to get discouraged. I must just keep up the good fight.
07/12 …..209.6 ….. Up fast, down slow but I do get how it works in general. Ugg.
07/13 …..209.6…..
07/14 …..209.6 ….. humph…..
07/15 …..xxxxx …..
@Tesha231 Thanks for the tips regarding “finishing my plate”. It just may help!

@musicsax I cannot imagine the anguish you are enduring right now. I will be praying for you, your family, and a miracle. I don’t know where you live, but can you seek a specialist? Someone at Duke, Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins or some other first class medical facility? Someone who specializes in the genetic disorder your sweet little one suffers from???2

Date/Weight/Comment
07/06 135.4 - 9.69 miles walked yesterday, wonderful day in the National Forest! 57 calories in credit, 10g fat over.
07/07 134.6 - 8.54 miles walked yesterday. 183 calories in credit, 13 carbs over.
07/08 134.2 - 2.81 miles walked yesterday, rain all day hence low mileage and it means that well over on calories, also high sodium ready meal last night means that tomorrow will probably be up.
07/09 134.8 - 8 miles walked yesterday all along the prom. at the seaside, first time at the sea this year ! 328 calories in credit, 15 carbs over.
07/19 135.2 - persistent rain meant no walking yesterday, got to spend time with DS & DGD. Food choices sensible but way over all macros ?
07/11 135.2 - 11.4 miles walked yesterday, almost no rain ! Makes all the the difference to me; 550 valid and all other macros in green.
07/12 135.4 - 8.3 miles walked yesterday. 61 calories in credit, but 12 carbs over.
07/13 135.8 – travelled back from our caravan week away yesterday hence only 3.87 miles walked. Back home now & back to usual routine & no alcohol until weekends, 2 days to improve on round start weight.
07/14 135.2 – 8.52 miles walked yesterday, 721 calories in credit all macros in green. Devastating news last night about our 5 ½ month DGS, going into 4th week in hospital. His liver is not in a good condition and his other genetic health problems mean he is not a suitable candidate for a transplant, poor little mite, if you believe please include him in your prayers, he needs a miracle. We can't visit cuz of this wretched covid, but they did allow our DD to bring him out on Saturday afternoon for an hour, we met up in the park opposite and had a cuddle with him. Feeling very despondent but have to try to keep positive for DD & family.
07/15 133.4 - 10.52 miles walked yesterday. 545 calories in credit, 2g fat over. 2.6 pounds down from end of last round. Gave blood yesterday pm, but had what I can only describe as a “funny” turn during the night which scared me – got up to use the bathroom and my legs gave way, I fell on the floor, felt very weak and for 20 mins or so was almost in faint, DH said that I did pass out for a quite a while, had a prolonged cold sweat. Unusually I had a very low carb day yesterday, had only an omelette and leaf salad for lunch, maybe I should have ensured that I had the usual carbs for lunch before I gave blood, I will in future cuz it scared me.
KEEP SAFE EVERYONE . Keep calm – we're all in this together!

Thank you all so much for your best wishes, kind thoughts and prayers, it is such a comfort.
The little chappie is fighting and although the specialists can't give any reassurance that they can "fix" him, they are doing the very best they can for him, tomorrow he is being transferred to Leeds where the liver specialists are based - fingers crossed.3 -
@UTMom81 - we are in the UK, we have been told that genetic testing results take weeks to get results, his blood has gone off to be tested some weeks ago. The problem is that the condition that they suspect he has is so rare that the numbers are not there for there to be much experience/knowledge of; 150 cases within the UK! It seems he is one in millions, but not in a good way3

Ready for round 119 {56th for me}
OSW 88KG
RSW 61.05 (-26. 95kg) or {59.4lbs}
I reached my ultimate goal of 58kg last round then totally sabotaged myself ending up the biggest I've been this year! Goal this round is to get under 60kg.
07/06 61.05kg and a fresh start. It's Monday. It's Independence Day 🇲🇼 and I've worked out even though it's a holiday. Back on it counting every calorie and every carb.
07/07 60.45kg. It did go to 60.15 but I'm save that for tomorrow! Kept it all good yesterday and beat the snacking demon. Need to do the same again today.
07/08 60.10kg which is good. Got a special lunch out tomorrow so I'm going to be super mindful and careful today.
07/09 58.95kg I was sick yesterday and didn't eat so I doubt this number is real. Hoping I'm well for my much anticipated lunch.
07/10 59.25kg. Totally fine with that. Feeling loads better and went to lovely lunch yesterday. Back to calorie and carb control but I've missed exercise these last 2 days.
07/11 59.55kg just glad to be feeling better!
07/12 59.90kg.Still good with this. Exercise starts again tomorrow and I'm on holiday for weeks.
07/13 60.1kg exercises restarted and I'm a kg down from last Monday.
07/14 60.1kg
07/15 60.0kg which is back inside maintenance.

Day/Weight/Comment
07/06–177.2 I’m pretty pleased with my control over the holiday weekend. I did make a dessert for the 4th, but worked it into my calories for the day (two actually) and continued to lose a little along the way. That’s progress. No self-sabotage on this holiday weekend! I’ll call that a win!
07/07–176.2 Got up early to get my walk in before it became a scorcher of a day here yesterday. Then I managed to stay under in calories despite giving in to some fresh made tortilla chips my daughter brought over—they were still warm! Drank lots of water though yesterday, and will need to do that again today to combat that salt. Still may bounce back up a bit, but at least I’m very happy with the trend right now!
07/08–176.4 Just normal fluctuation. Was well within calorie range, but rested yesterday, so no formal exercise. I have begun to play with IF again. Did 16:8 the day before and 17:7 yesterday. Will just see if that is a good addition to all the other things I’ve changed the last few weeks. I won’t go extreme, though, and may not do it everyday. Just looking at it as another tool in the toolbox.
07/09–175.6 Another really good day yesterday. Got up early for my walk, ate well within plan even though we ate out last night. I was super careful with my choices at dinner, but enjoyed it immensely. We got a rain which cooled things off late in the day, so I went out for another walk after dinner. I’m enjoying these drops, but I also know it will slow WAY down before very long. Did 17:7 IF.
07/10–176.4 I did wonder yesterday about that drop, so I guess this means it was a fluke. It’s ok. I am more in control now than I’ve been in over a year. I did make homemade panini sandwiches for dinner last night for the family and had part of one, so maybe it was the bread. Haven’t had much bread of late. Did 18:6 IF.
07/11–176.4 I’m not sad about this. We had a celebratory lunch with my daughter yesterday at a restaurant. I tried to choose well, but I know there was lots of salt and more fat than I’m used to in the meal. Compensated well the rest of the day and got in some extra exercise to boot. Gotta keep pushing water today to make sure that salt doesn’t bite me tomorrow! Did 18:6 IF. Happy weekend everyone! WE GOT THIS!
07/12–176 Visited a local farmer’s market yesterday morning and made a haul on fresh fruits and vegetables. Came home and spent the afternoon helping my daughter make baby food from them, and had such a wonderful time. Then made dinner mostly out of what we bought. I had never tried Mediterranean zucchini until last night, and it was scrumptious!
07/13–176.2 I just knew I would break through to 175-something this morning. Had another good day yesterday with food and did some strenuous gardening, too. I’ve been inspired by@ ShielaBoneham to get to work on my backyard. It’s pretty ho-hum right now, but with the new grand baby, I’m going to want her to have a magical place to play in the coming years. So, I’ve made a plan and begun the execution of it. Thanks, Sheila! Maybe the round-goal will come tomorrow. Incentive to do well again today!
07/14–176.6 Well, I did that to myself yesterday. BUT, I stopped it from becoming an all-out self-sabotage day which is a positive. Not sure if I will make the round goal now of 175.X, but I can try. It’s going to be blistering hot today, so I’ll be riding my exercise bike, I think, instead of walking outside.
07/15–176.4 It’s a small loss for the round, and I have no idea why I didn’t lose more, but at least it’s a loss! Off to a new round. Just gotta keep doing the right things and, slowly but surely, it will come off.5 -

7/6: 174.6, Off to a good start. I kind of expected to see a gain today after a big drop yesterday. It's been really hot, so I think I'm living in a state of dehydration right now despite all of the water I'm consuming. Of course, I've also bee hitting it pretty hard the past few days. Yea me!
7/7: 174.0. I guess I hit goal for this round, but I still think it may be an artificial low. I am taking it though. Happy me
7/8: 173.2 a loss going into my mini vacation is a bonus!
7/9: DNW Camping, but had tons of activity. Maybe it will counter balance the copious amount of booze I drink last night... Good on calories, not so good on nutrition.
7/10:DNW Camping, yesterday was a blast, but I’m plum tuckered out. Ray day today. Expect a slight gain after this trip.
7/11: 172.8, yahoo! A loss after my outing, hoped for but unexpected. I was more active than I was glutinous. Yea me!
7/12: 173.0 did a 27 mile bike ride yesterday, but ate dinner late. I’m guessing the food just hasn’t had time to “process”.
7/13: 173.4 Was so hungry I couldn't sleep last night and had a late night snack. Very unusual for me. Such is life.
7/14: 173.0 Took a rest day yesterday...
7/15: 170.8 Tummy has been a bit upset, this is likely a false low, but it's still nice to see.

Day/Weight/Comment
07/06 206.4
07/07 205 Most of the weekend water retention is gone.
07/08 203.8 Yay! Thirty pounds down! (And the rest of the water retention gone.)
07/09 203.4
07/10 202.8 My pattern the last few weeks has been to lose during the weekdays and gain a bit on the weekends, but overall I am down 1.5-2 pounds a week. This is 1.8 down from last Friday morning. I'd like to get back here by the end of the challenge because my weekend will include plenty of food I haven't cooked and I will have to estimate the nutritional information about.
07/11 DNW No access to a scale and went over maintenance calories by almost 200, but if I do that two days a week, I tend to still lose well the following week. I'll eat around maintenance again today and get back to a deficit on Sunday.
07/12 DNW. No scale. Will be back to weighing tomorrow morning and expect to be up a couple of pounds because I have eaten at maintenance the last two days. That's okay. I should be able to lose that weight (which should be mostly water weight) by the end of the challenge. Back to a deficit today.
07/13 204.6. No surprise there. Found out yesterday about a get together that is happening tonight that I have to attend. I have no control again over the food being served and it's happening outside of my feeding window, so I've decided to just eat what I make (and can weigh and know exactly what the calorie and macro counts are) ahead of time.
07/14 203.2 Coming down nicely. I think that after my ten day maintenance break, I will continue with the 5 days at deficit, 2 days at maintenance idea. It's working for me now. Yesterday I was confronted with so many temptations, but I was able to resist. I think it was because I have been having a couple of maintenance days a week. Anyway, I expect this number to be lower either tomorrow or later in the week. Tomorrow would be nice because it's the end of the challenge, but even later this week would be great.
07/15 202.6 Nice. Ending the challenge at a new lower weight. Thanks, everyone. I think I'll be back for Round 121. My ten-day maintenance break starts Friday. Best of luck in Round 120.

7/6: 226.0 First day of getting back to strict tracking after a couple looser days produces a nice drop on the scale. Still feeling a little bloated, so we’ll see what happens in another day or two.
7/7: 227.0 Had a hefty late night snack around 1 AM, so I’m not surprised to see a bump despite technically being within my calories. Walked a ton but ate most of the calories back.
7/8: 226.0 Might have to cut back on exercise a bit today; I’ve been doing a lot for the last week and my body is sore. I hate to do it because of the Apple Watch challenge I’m in, but I think I need a light day.
7/9: 224.8 Another drop and a new 5-pound mark. Probably be up a bit tomorrow - gotta recognize the low fluctuations as much as the high ones - but I’ll take it for today, and get back to it for real soon.
7/10: 225.6 Very snack-y day yesterday. Half expected this to be higher, really.
7/11: 225.6 Happy to have held even. Pot roast and mashed potatoes at my parents’ house and had two plates - one of those meals that won’t hurt you every now and then but adds on the pounds if you make a habit of it!
7/12: 227.0 Ha. I predicted this number before I got on the scale, which should tell you something about how much I ate yesterday. Gotta get back on track to make this a temporary blip.
7/13: 226.0 Seems to be a recurring weight this round. Ate within my calories, working on pulling this trend back in the right direction.
7/14: 225.6 Another recurring weight this round. Out of nine days so far, I’ve been at 226.0 three times and 225.6 three times.
7/15: 224.6 A new low to finish the round, and it’s closer to my “true” weight per the trend line than the last low was. I’ve been particularly thankful for the Happy Scale app this round...it feels like my numbers have been all over the place, but seeing the trend line helps me make sense of it.

About me:I love learning about food and everything about it; from the way it acts in the body to learning to cook a new recipe. I went to school for nutrition (got my bachelor's) but I didn’t become an RD because it didn’t feel like the path for me. I guess I wanted to keep it as more of an interest instead of a career. I then went into public health to further my education and I currently help medically complex patients by connecting them with community resources to improve their health and life. I enjoy helping family and friends when they ask for advice related to food and nutrition. Plus, it helps me brush up on what I spent so much time learning!Previous days entries:
I’m here because when I’m not paying attention to what I eat, I start to gain and feel uncomfortable in my body. For me that results in frustration and a lot of other emotions. It has also increased my cholesterol in the past (It’s good now as far as I know thanks to diet and exercise). I have a family history of diabetes, heart disease, and all that fun stuff. So, I want to prevent that for myself by getting a hold of my food habits now.
I’m always open to conversation about food and nutrition, so feel to reach out to me!07/06 116.6 Happy Monday everyone! This morning we did a good soccer workout for some exercise. Today is our produce CSA day and I’m looking forward to all the fun fruits and vegetables we’ll be picking up!
07/07 116.2 Hi! Not sure if the weight is right but I’ll go with it. I had the same number for like 5 days so I took one of the scale batteries out and put it back in which resulted in this number after it reading 116.6 minutes beforehand. Yesterday was fun picking up the CSA. This week we got summer squash, zucchini, kousa squash, peas, beets with greens, hakurei turnips with greens, kale, spigariello, green leaf lettuce, a cucumber, a small tomato, basil, scallions, strawberries and apples.
We went for a nice walk this morning coming in at 5ish miles. Today my sister in law and I will go pick up our monthly meat CSA which will be another fun adventure of new food options in the house! Not sure what’s on the agenda for dinner tonight except that I want to have some watermelon and feta cheese salad. I love that salty sweet combo! Have a good day everyone!
07/08 116.8 Yesterday was a really fun day/night. It was awesome to pick up the meat CSA and to fill the freezer with new cuts of meat that we haven’t had in while! Then, my husband and I had some wine and played poker. Dinner was a wash of eating jalapeno poppers and a watermelon/feta salad. He had the poppers with fries and I ate the salad and poppers. I guess that’s a half way decent food compromise. I didn’t stress about the excessive calories because it was about having fun last night. We also finally looked at our wedding pictures and watched some of the videos from it. Watching the video of our entire family (both sides) singing and dancing to Paradise by the Dashboard Lights by Meatloaf is one of the memories I will never forget from that day. It still brings so much joy just to watch the video of it.
Today is a recovery day of sorts and I’m just trying to focus on eating light and not caving too much into the cravings for all the high calorie foods after a night of a few glasses of wine. 😊 I did manage to do a reduced soccer workout this morning with my father in law because even though I drank I didn’t feel icky this morning luckily.
07/09 116.8 Oh how I love water weight retention lol. I’m going to have more because of my cycle and splurging on Chinese takeout food tonight because it has been 4 months. Busy day today with work which equals a not too chatty post. We did get a nice walk in this morning though! Have a good day!
07/19 118.2 Yuck…I hate the after effects of Chinese takeout food….but it tasted so good as a treat! Now back to eating more normally for me today 😊. We did an awesome soccer workout this morning, so that helped me sweat some salt/water retention out. For meals I have yogurt, strawberries, and granola planned for my breakfast and I’m really looking forward to it! I’ll be eating a lot of the CSA veggies today because we haven’t gone through too many. So I’ll probably be grilling or roasting some CSA squash, beets, hakurei turnips, and an eggplant I picked from our raised bed to go with our dinner tonight. I want to put them on top of a kale salad that has a basil cilantro chimichurri dressing on it. I’ll probably throw some more fresh basil in it too because our plants need some pruning/picking so they don’t flower.
07/11 118.0 Yesterday was a decent day for food. My breakfast was so good yesterday. I love the simplicity of fresh & in season fruit, yogurt, and granola. Although, to avoid having to place an online order for more yogurt I think next week my breakfast may consist of eggs and a healthy/high fiber muffin instead. Plus, it’ll be good to switch it up and eating the eggs will encourage me to use more of the CSA veggies in a new way. I’m thinking I might make a frittata with some CSA veggies. My dinner last night was a weird one because we found out some not so great news about my mother in law which made me not want to cook much for dinner. So, I finished up the last of my scallion pancakes (5 triangles worth), ate half of an apple muffin and had 6 dolmas that were in my pantry. But I really am excited to eat a lot of veggies today with my meals 😊. Not the worst dinner in the world but not the best. I still logged everything which was good though.
07/12 117.2 Yesterday was a good day for food. I had my typical breakfast and didn’t even feel the need to snack. I also didn’t exercise, so that kept the hunger levels down. I cooked an early dinner of jerk chicken leg quarters with kale and spigariello salad, roasted summer squashes, miso honey butter roasted beets and hakurei turnips. The beets and turnips were so so yummy with the miso honey butter concoction! I think I’ll be trying that mixture on a lot of root vegetables this fall. It’ll taste so good with sweet potatoes and butternut squash too!
I plan on making that frittata for breakfast today. It’ll have roasted summer squash, fresh scallions, bacon, shredded beet greens and turnip greens, American and cheddar cheese, a dollop of Greek yogurt, and some salt and pepper.
07/13 116.7 Yesterday was a chill day and the frittata I made came out really good, so I’m looking forward to that for breakfast today. We did mellow workout this morning because we were both tired. I enjoyed the change of pace. It’s CSA day today and was informed by the farmer’s that we’ll be getting a lot of Asian greens this week. It’ll be fun to try new recipes with some greens I’ve never tried before. 😊 Have a happy Monday everyone!
07/14 117.2 We had a surprise Bertucci’s dinner delivered to us last night kindly sent from my father in law’s work team due to everything going on with my mother in law. So, I couldn’t turn down chicken parmesan when offered. It really is crazy how salt can make you fluctuate so much. It was totally worth it though because I was tired after breaking down all the CSA produce and didn’t feel like creating dirty dishes making dinner. We found an awesome wild blueberry patch on our walk this morning, so we are going back tomorrow with a container to pick more than a handful! Our CSA was FILLED with greens this week. All sorts including: Tokyo Bakana (new to me), Mizzuna (heard of it but never tried), bok choi (tried this), Thai basil (yum!), arugula (spicy kick!), and green winterbor kale. Such a fun pick up, it also included summer squash, pickling cucumbers, beets, onions, baby fennel, blueberries, and blackberries.
07/15 117.2 First round to bounce up. It’s been a weird round for me. There has been lots of unexpected salty food and whatnot. Plan to get back down to the 115-116 range for the next round. I just feel kind of bloated and blah this week. This morning was fun though because we went wild blueberry picking! They are so yummy! Then we did a few sprints at the soccer field afterward to do “something”. So it’s been a solid start to the day so far. See you all in the next round!

07/06 -175.6 - First day back to work from home [WFH]. Gym sore.
07/07 - 175.1 Gym streak continued. 5th day of not eating back the calories earned. This round will be an interesting weight-flux battle between fat, water & muscle. May the muscle win!
07/08 - 174.8 - No gym. Eating on track. Water wins this weigh day.
07/09 - 174.8 - Gym + extra walk with the pup. It was FINALLY cool enough for her to make her neighborhood rounds--can't say no to that! Back to work schedule made it hard for me to eat my MFP minimum calories for the day by 7p.m. so broke my IF and ate the rest of the cals by 8 p.m. Left the 525 calories-earned (plus 200 more from daily allowance) on the table--so, I'm giving this weigh day to...MUSCLE. (Found some more new ones I'm feeling today)
07/10 - 174.2 Proof you can eat pizza (within your MFP calorie limits of course)!! Had to eat back my earned treadmill calories to do it though. Worth every bite.
07/11 - 174.1 500+ calories over MFP goal due to some amazing custard. Sadly, never had the chance to work them off as the hubs picked me up from my outdoor walk with news of a tragic death of a close friend's son. 30 y.o. ; married less than two years with a 3 month old son. If you are the praying kind, please send some up for his family, especially his wife and their baby. 🙏
07/12 - 174.1
07/13- 173.6 Emotional weekend that I suspect will continue throughout this round. IF out the window as well as normal food selections, exercise, etc. Still logging and staying as close to the MFP goals as possible. Hopefully WFH will get me back on track today. Time to SPRINT if I intend to make it to my Round 119 goal.
07/14 - 173.3 Ate back some of my 560-earned calories today, but DANG--that pretzel bread was awesome! I rarely eat back earned calories or bread these days so that made every bite more special. 1.3 pounds to this round's goal (which I'm unlikely to meet at this point) so no treats today--just tracking and hard work!
07/15- 172.6 Just shy of my goal but a 2.9# loss works for me! See you in R1206 -

Day/Weight/Comment
07/06: 177.6- First day tracking! My hubby is doing this with me to keep myself accountable. Tracked breakfast and ready to start my workout.
07/07: 177.4- I already feel so much better. I have been fighting the feeling of being bloated all the time.
07/08: 174.8- It really helps that my hubby is doing this with me. He doesn't need to lose weight, but he's even seeing the benefit of tracking food. It can be surprising how much a person really eats when you track it! We normally would have bought a couple bags of chips, but we decided to get some carrots and bananas to snack on. That's huge for us! Making healthy choices together💪
07/09: 174.4- I made sure to pack and track my own lunch on my trip instead of getting fast food.
07/10: 174- Tracking can be tedious but it's been worth it. I've been continuing my workout plan I've been on since May. I definitely FEEL BETTER! I know it's not all about what the scale says. I've only been tracking a few days but I already feel like a new person.
07/11: forgot to weigh in, but I've been on track with calories
07/12: 172
07/13: 172.8- overall a good day of tracking. Our meals had lots of sodium in them so I'm most likely retaining water.
07/14: 172.4- We made homemade butter pecan ice cream yesterday😁 I've learned I can still eat whatever I want as long as I pay attention to portions. Doing so has made me appreciate foods more and I find myself savoring the flavors instead of mindlessly eating.
07/15: 172.8- I managed to stay within my calories so that's good. I know it's normal to have my weight flunctuate so I'm not too worried. I've been exercising daily and counting calories so I'm proud of myself making it 10 days! And 172.8 is better than where I started.6 -
Forgot to note I lost 4.8 lbs this round! 👏2
