07/07 145.2 lbs + 0.6. I just kept snacking last night. It was healthy veggies and dip. But calories add up. So No Surprise here! 1,520 Calories, 46 Carbs, 23 Net Carbs, and 8,141 steps. Corrected 7/06’s numbers!! That still might be wrong because I didn’t weigh my snacks. That can make a big difference

Plus, it’ll be good to switch it up and eating the eggs will encourage me to use more of the CSA veggies in a new way. I’m thinking I might make a frittata with some CSA veggies.

I love making an omelet using fresh veggies, a little cheese, and some mushrooms. I'm sure with all the veggies you have at hand, you'll find some great combinations! I may have to do that for dinner soon. YUM!

I love breakfast for dinner! It's the best, I just wish my husband could get on board with liking breakfast for dinner haha! Oh well, I guess I could make breakfast for dinner on a night he wants to do his own thing.

    Round 118—SW: 179.6, EW: 177.4

    Day/Weight/Comment
07/06–177.2 I’m pretty pleased with my control over the holiday weekend. I did make a dessert for the 4th, but worked it into my calories for the day (two actually) and continued to lose a little along the way. That’s progress. No self-sabotage on this holiday weekend! I’ll call that a win!
07/07–176.2 Got up early to get my walk in before it became a scorcher of a day here yesterday. Then I managed to stay under in calories despite giving in to some fresh made tortilla chips my daughter brought over—they were still warm! Drank lots of water though yesterday, and will need to do that again today to combat that salt. Still may bounce back up a bit, but at least I’m very happy with the trend right now!
07/08–176.4 Just normal fluctuation. Was well within calorie range, but rested yesterday, so no formal exercise. I have begun to play with IF again. Did 16:8 the day before and 17:7 yesterday. Will just see if that is a good addition to all the other things I’ve changed the last few weeks. I won’t go extreme, though, and may not do it everyday. Just looking at it as another tool in the toolbox.
07/09–175.6 Another really good day yesterday. Got up early for my walk, ate well within plan even though we ate out last night. I was super careful with my choices at dinner, but enjoyed it immensely. We got a rain which cooled things off late in the day, so I went out for another walk after dinner. I’m enjoying these drops, but I also know it will slow WAY down before very long. Did 17:7 IF.
07/10–176.4 I did wonder yesterday about that drop, so I guess this means it was a fluke. It’s ok. I am more in control now than I’ve been in over a year. I did make homemade panini sandwiches for dinner last night for the family and had part of one, so maybe it was the bread. Haven’t had much bread of late. Did 18:6 IF.
07/11–176.4 I’m not sad about this. We had a celebratory lunch with my daughter yesterday at a restaurant. I tried to choose well, but I know there was lots of salt and more fat than I’m used to in the meal. Compensated well the rest of the day and got in some extra exercise to boot. Gotta keep pushing water today to make sure that salt doesn’t bite me tomorrow! Did 18:6 IF. Happy weekend everyone! WE GOT THIS!
07/12–176 Visited a local farmer’s market yesterday morning and made a haul on fresh fruits and vegetables. Came home and spent the afternoon helping my daughter make baby food from them, and had such a wonderful time. Then made dinner mostly out of what we bought. I had never tried Mediterranean zucchini until last night, but it was scrumptious! Hey, I saw many types of squash I've never seen before yesterday. Anyone have a favorite recipe for Pattypan squash?

That sounds like a lovely day
I love patty pan squash and hope to get some in my CSA soon! It's really good grilled and it tends to hold up well because it's a little less watery than the other summer squashes. You can also stuff patty pan squash. I also agree with you on never seeing so many types of summer squash until going to a farmer's market. It's amazing the variety out there that isn't sold in grocery stores.

Round 119 - Started MFP and 10-Day Challenge 12/27/19 - 186.0 (Heaviest weight ever!) I'm happy to have lost 10 pounds, but, man, it has taken a long time but mainly because I keep losing the same pounds over and over again. :/

    Goal this round:
Do NOT eat sugar or white flour. These are my downfall. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I eat healthy most days except when I go on a binge for days. And what causes my binges/cravings? sugar and white flour :s

07/06 - 175.1 Huh? Too much salt, not enough water the past few days.
    07/07 - 174.9
    07/08 - 174.7
I usually stop eating around 5p each day. Last night around 7:30p I was so hungry I decided to eat a small amount over my calorie limit. I also chose something healthy - 2 carrots with ranch dressing that I made a few days ago with mostly buttermilk (only 100 calories a cup) and very little sour cream and mayo (I would have used plain yogurt but didn't have any). I also ate a small serving of leftover summer squash and cauliflower rice. I look at last night as a WIN because I got more vegetables in for the day, and because I chose healthy food and went over my calorie limit a little vs. the old me that would have had an all out binge. YAY!
    07/09 - 174.7 B)
07/10 - 174.7 Staying patient while I keep focused on all the healthy changes I'm making and all the little NSVs.
    07/11 - 174.5 :)

    End of round 118 7/5= 157.8 lbs

    Day/Weight/Comment

7/6 160.2 lbs Ugh, already over 160 but that is because of the weekend holiday.

    7/7 159.2 lbs

7/8 158.8 lbs trying to get placemats, napkins and table runners, quilted and done for birthday qifts so not much steps but did split wood for over an hour.

    7/9 158.8 lbs

7/10 160.4 lbs Grocery shopping and tried some new wine in a can with friends. Summer is the worst time for me to diet.
    7/11 159.4 lbs

    Round 119: GWFR: 174.0

7/6: 174.6, Off to a good start. I kind of expected to see a gain today after a big drop yesterday. It's been really hot, so I think I'm living in a state of dehydration right now despite all of the water I'm consuming. Of course, I've also bee hitting it pretty hard the past few days. Yea me!

7/7: 174.0. I guess I hit goal for this round, but I still think it may be an artificial low. I am taking it though. Happy me

7/8: 173.2 a loss going into my mini vacation is a bonus!

7/9: DNW Camping, but had tons of activity. Maybe it will counter balance the copious amount of booze I drink last night... Good on calories, not so good on nutrition.

7/10:DNW Camping, yesterday was a blast, but I’m plum tuckered out. Ray day today. Expect a slight gain after this trip.

7/11: 172.8, yahoo! A loss after my outing, hoped for but unexpected. I was more active than I was glutinous. Yea me!

7/12: 173.0 did a 27 mile bike ride yesterday, but ate dinner late. I’m guessing the food just hasn’t had time to “process”.

    Day/Weight/Comment
    07/06 206.4
07/07 205 Most of the weekend water retention is gone.
07/08 203.8 Yay! Thirty pounds down! (And the rest of the water retention gone.)
    07/09 203.4
07/10 202.8 My pattern the last few weeks has been to lose during the weekdays and gain a bit on the weekends, but overall I am down 1.5-2 pounds a week. This is 1.8 down from last Friday morning. I'd like to get back here by the end of the challenge because my weekend will include plenty of food I haven't cooked and I will have to estimate the nutritional information about.
07/11 DNW No access to a scale and went over maintenance calories by almost 200, but if I do that two days a week, I tend to still lose well the following week. I'll eat around maintenance again today and get back to a deficit on Sunday.
07/12 DNW. No scale. Will be back to weighing tomorrow morning and expect to be up a couple of pounds because I have eaten at maintenance the last two days. That's okay. I should be able to lose that weight (which should be mostly water weight) by the end of the challenge. Back to a deficit today.

    Ready for round 119 {56th for me}

07/11 59.55kg just glad to be feeling better and that school holidays have started... Not that we can go anywhere or do anything!

Just curious if you were actually IN school? Where are you? We haven't been in school since March 12, and the way the numbers are rising again, I'm not sure we go back (except to get computers and books distributed) in August. :-(

That's what sent me on such a nose-dive March through May--I am an educator, and I just hated online education and spent too much time sitting in front of my computer or baking bread and other high-calorie things. I'm so hoping we get to have kids in rooms again, but it also terrifies me at the same time.

Hi. No kids aren't in school (I'm in Malawi) but I live at school so I go to my classroom daily which is easier than being at home. Online teaching and learning is not fun and I miss the interactions with the students, but the thought of all those bodies not getting social distancing is scary! No idea what September will bring either but I definitely need these weeks off!

    Ready for round 119 {56th for me}
    OSW 88KG
    RSW 61.05 (-26. 95kg) or {59.4lbs}
I reached my ultimate goal of 58kg last round then totally sabotaged myself ending up the biggest I've been this year! Goal this round is to get under 60kg.

07/06 61.05kg and a fresh start. It's Monday. It's Independence Day 🇲🇼 and I've worked out even though it's a holiday. Back on it counting every calorie and every carb.
07/07 60.45kg. It did go to 60.15 but I'm save that for tomorrow! Kept it all good yesterday and beat the snacking demon. Need to do the same again today.
07/08 60.10kg which is good. Got a special lunch out tomorrow so I'm going to be super mindful and careful today.
07/09 58.95kg I was sick yesterday and didn't eat so I doubt this number is real. Hoping I'm well for my much anticipated lunch.
07/10 59.25kg. Totally fine with that. Feeling loads better and went to lovely lunch yesterday. Back to calorie and carb control but I've missed exercise these last 2 days.
07/11 59.55kg just glad to be feeling better!

07/12 59.90kg.Still good with this. Exercise starts again tomorrow and I'm on holiday for weeks.

@deepwoodslady Donna, in my case, if I ate the Mexican meal, it would be at least 2 days of increases even if I skipped the beans and rice that are always included.

@beachbody4l Does anyone else use your scale? It may be “stuck.” Get on with something significantly heavier and weigh. Then try by yourself again. Some on this forum has this problem of unchanging weight all the time and then whooooosh! Hope this helps!

Here we go again! And I’m determined to make at least a little progress this time. Jeesh! It’s really hot here with air quality advisory today, but I’m going for at least a short walk. Salmon-egg-guac salad for lunch, lentils & rice for dinner, and I had a low cal breakfast. Today’s my “breakout day”!

    7/7 - 181
It’s a beautiful morning here, but already hot and we have a heat and ozone advisory for later, so I’m doing my gardening and walking early. I have some seeds to plant —starts for a new bed I’m planning. I love watching seedlings grow! My day’s menu is planned and lunch made (remains from yesterday). It was so yummy and easy, I thought I’d share In case anyone’s looking for a new summery salad. Recipe: 1 can salmon (I like Wild Planet wild caught pink), 2 hard boiled eggs, guacamole (I use one Wholly Guacamole mini pack), slaw mix (I use mixed broccoli, carrot, cabbage), chopped raw veggies & herbs to taste (bell pepper, celery, green onion or chives, basil, cilantro all work well). Tasty, filling, healthful.

    7/8 - 181
Whew, yep, it’s July in Indiana, that’s for sure! Hot hot hot! Considering ice cream for all my meals. 😁 Okay, salads. 🥗🥦🥕🥒🥬🍓🥙

    7/9 - 180.8
I’m sitting on my patio, smiling at my garden this morning. When we moved into this house, this entire perimeter of the backyard was a narrow band of river rock. I wish I could invite you all over for iced tea! The photo doesn’t do the colors justice in the hot sun, but still. I’ve seen four kinds of butterflies, lots of beautiful bees, lots of birds, including 6 goldfinches, and bunnies and chipmunks this morning.

    7/10 - 180.6
Peaches! We got a big bunch of peaches, and they’re perfect! I made a galette with some yesterday — simple to make, delicious, and about half the calories of peach pie. Watched my calories the rest of the day and fit a piece in. Yum!

    7/11 - 181
Not entirely unexpected since we had carry-out Thai yesterday. Not as salty as Chinese, but saltier than I usually eat. I stuck with veggie stir fry with chicken, though — no high-cal mussaman curry, which I love! Anyway, tomorrow will be better, I’m sure. Gorgeous day here — planning to catch up on weeding and deadheading before the heat returns next week. And I’m going to check on the 1500 ladybugs I released in my garden yesterday. Take that, aphids! Have a glorious weekend, all!

    7/12 - 181
Thai leftovers and some snacking because I dunno why.

Thai leftovers are so worth it though! That's our favorite take-out food, mussaman is my favorite too! That's great you were able to stick t the healthier options though. I realized a few weeks ago how much salt Thai food really does have in it. I got drunken noodles and gained like 2#'s worth of water weight for a few days.... but it's so yummy and worth it from time to time.

07/06: 184.4 Wow, I really did a number on myself. Went on a full fledged binge and gained 5 pounds since Friday morning!! Some of it is salt/water of course, but 5 pounds!! And I feel horrible. Bloated, stomach cramps.

07/07: 184.4 Still overate again. Not as bad as Saturday/Sunday but not yet back to my healthy eating. I had stopped writing in my journal or planning my day—stepped completely away from accountability. Well I’m back now. With work to do!

07/08 184.8 Wow, I really didn’t think you could gain 5 pounds in 3 days of real weight. But this is sticking around. I ate much better today, got some exercise...and I’m up even higher now! I still have to be gentle with myself today, getting restrictive and punitive will be counterproductive but I am sad. But I have my plan for today, including snacks, so hopefully I can gently lead myself back to the path of health.

07/09 184.0 At least it’s in the right direction. Last time I weighed this much was 31 days ago—I wiped out a full month of progress with one weekend. 😭 But I was successfully back on plan again yesterday, ate green, tracked, journaled, exercised. There’s no true end date to this work so I have to just keep at it.

07/10 182.6 Forgot to post this morning, even with a “good” number. Happy scale still shows red under the curve (first time I’ve gained enough and it stuck enough that it turned red). But going in the right direction.

07/11 181.0 Yay! Sodium is working it’s way out, I’m on my way down. Happy Scale is now green again (though my average is 2 pounds higher). Now to be intentional with my eating today, don’t “weekend it”.

07/12 181.2 Not bad for a Sunday morning. Today I’m going to stick to my “eating Windows” as a way to combat the unstructured time grazing.

07/05 …..207.8….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
07/06 …..207.5 ….. I did really well during the holiday weekend. I couldn’t afford a set-back. Too busy for planned exercise, not enough water and little to no sleep but at least the diet was on point and the scale rewarded me a bit for that! Good luck everyone this round. You guys are Rocking It!!!!

07/77 …..208.6 ….. A small cheeseburger from McDonald’s with water. It tasted like a salt shaker (again). I forgot how salty!!!! Wow how my tastebuds have changed. This is probably fluid retention. Tomorrow will tell.

07/08 …..208.4 ….. Downward I go. Just not fast enough but patience is a virtue and so I’ll stay calm.

07/09 …..208.4 ….. There is not enough water on this EARTH for the thirst that I am experiencing!!!!

07/10 …..209.0 ….. Mexican food – half for lunch and half for dinner. Actually did not finish the dinner and completely ignored the rice, throwing it away too. Growing up so poor, it is not always easy for me to throw away food or not finish what is on my plate, so I call this a NSV for me. I am trying to learn that it is okay to be full and not need to eat more just because it’s not all gone yet. Today I will try to get the scale back down and drink more water too.

07/11 …..209.8 ….. WTHeck? I food prepped, ate low carb diet well and kept calories way down. Still retaining some sort of water? I don’t know how when I am sweating like this. I am not going to get discouraged. I must just keep up the good fight.

07/12 …..209.6 ….. Up fast, down slow but I do get how it works in general. Ugg.

    07/13 …..xxxxx …..

    Round 118 start weight 161.0
    Current start weight: 160.2
    Goal weight: 130

    Day/Weight/Comment

07/06 160.2 I'm down .8 pounds from last round. I'll do an indoor workout today as there's too much smoke from a nearby fire to go outside for a walk or run. Need to drink more water!

07/07 160.2 Need active friends please!
07/08 162.4 I went to the beach yesterday, and instead of packing a picnic, I bought one from the supermarket - full of foods that I don't normally eat. Yuck.

07/09 163.4 I needed another day off yesterday. I didn't log, but I'm back at it today. I have a lot of yuckiness to get out of my system today. Lots of water and a workout this evening with my trainer.
