@WandaVaughn great picture. If you highlight what you want to hide and then up on the tool bar where the bold etc is on the first drop down (the formatting one) you'll see spoiler in there and it will hide what you want to hide.2

Congratulations @WandaVaughn and Team WunjoWomen for finishing your VM for @PastorVincent!
I didn't think Ohio was that flat @Tramboman!4 -
4.4 treadmill miles today. Garmin logged it at 4.74 I think, but still either way was enough to get us through the finish!
Most of it was walking, but did manage to lightly run a bit at slow pace. So progress!
Oh I’m In Raleigh, NC currently. But really home to me is Toronto, I’ve also lived in Eastbourne in England, and I was born in Tanzania, and lived in the Congo as well. Been around lol.
Congrats @wandavaughn, great pic!7 -
Congratulations @WandaVaughn and Team WunjoWomen for finishing your VM for @PastorVincent!
I didn't think Ohio was that flat @Tramboman!
I think what my Garmin measures is my net gain (or loss) in altitude during my run. But northeast Ohio is pretty flat.3 -
Congrats @WandaVaughn on finishing the challenge run! That is a beautiful anniversary pic!
And congrats to the Wunjowomen!
@skippygirlsmom is in Brookline, near Coolidge corner, almost home!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=v0fndp5lbhY
Love this lady’s spirit! And her Boston accent!
@Tramboman and Team MakeTomorrowBetter just rounded the corner and are neck and neck at the Newton Firehouse! According to the Boston Globe, the turn onto Commonwealth leading to the Newton hills can make or break a runner!

Evening all! Managed a 10K this morning and a (hilariously slow and hazardous) 0.6mile run with my class of little 5 year olds today. They alternate between tearing around the playground tripping me up and then dramatically halting, panting and complaining that they are ‘sooooo tired!!!’ And the odd fall and occasional halt due to distractions, eg “oh look, a snail!!” But it’s all good fun and very good for them, so we shall persevere!
Total of 20.17 miles for Pastor V and 44.4 for September.
I have been very busy at work and with my own kids and struggled to do any specific extra acts of kindness. But I’ve tried to be really mindful as I go about my day to day life. Every drive I have done this week I have made sure I let all drivers out ahead of me from side roads, for example, stopped for pedestrians to cross even if they aren’t at crossings and tried to be extra patient. I have also given a friend with a very small apartment and a young toddler keys to my house so she can have some extra space and a change of scene while the kids and I are out all day. I have also volunteered to make a wedding cake for the son of a colleague whose wedding has been rearranged three times because of Covid.
Happy weekend all. See you at the finish line! X
September total: 44.4m

I'm pretty sure we could make a TV series out of your life @Camaramandy648 😊
The 5 year old run sounds hilarious and frustrating in equal measures @Faebert , fun if you were only having to watch!
I am in Eastbourne in the south of England.
Not a run day today so just the extended run to the shops to keep the miles ticking over.4 -

Nic e anniversary pic @WandaVaughn.
And Congratulations to you @eleanorhawkins, and the WunjoWomen for finishing your VM for @PastorVincent! And so many of you are getting close. I will get my butt in gear and finish tomorrow.
I did my RAOK today. It was truly random... just as I was leaving work my Mom called and said a neighbor down the street was moving and told her she could have all the flagstones she could hall away. She said she wanted about a dozen but no way she could lift them. So I drove over and loaded them in my truck and drove to Mom's house. She had no idea what to do with them, just that she wanted them 'somewhere'. So I made a rudimentary pathway from her back gate to her patio. It wasn't ideal since I didn't have time to level it properly, but she was thrilled!10 -
Congrats to the finishers so far! Great job!

09/11/20 :::: 3.3 :::: 38.5
I had a whole plan about how the day would go, and of course it went nothing like that. End result was that I reluctantly went out to run at 4:30 pm. It was pretty cool out at least, in the low 60s. Sadly, I did not have the energy to continue my series and get 6 miles in. 3.3 adds to 6 though! Best I could do.
So I have 8.4 miles left for the VM. Maybe I can get that done tomorrow.

Today’s long run means I move from near the start to near the finish in one fell swoop! I’m laughing at the elevation - I live in a dead flat part of Auckland but still managed nearly 200m of elevation today. It’s all relative I guess. A small mountainous country like NZ means truly flat is rare or only for short distances.
Fun fact: Did you know Auckland city is built on 48 dormant volcanoes? Ranigototo, in the middle of the harbour last erupted around 400 years ago.11 -
@WandaVaughn Love the photo. You can see the love you have for each other. Congratulations on finishing the marathon! To do the little hide thingy, click on the paragraph icon above this comment rectangle and click on spoiler. Then, add your image between the 2 little spoiler thingies. @skippygirlsmom explained it much better. LOL
@hamsterwheel6 Glad the hamstring is allowing you to run a little. Just don't overdo. Congrats on finishing the marathon.
Great RAOK @Scott6255 and @Faebert . Love the picture in my head of the 5 year olds running.
It looks like it was a good thing that I got a good start to the virtual marathon, because it looks like I may be dead last in finishing. LOL You all are doing great and I love being able to watch everyone's progress. I had intended to run 3 - 4 miles after work today, but life got in the way and that didn't happen. Depending on the weather, and when I get out of bed in the morning, I may do my long run tomorrow instead of on a rainy Sunday. We'll see.
For my act of kindness, I anonymously donated some money to one of the teachers at the daycare who is a single mother. I see her struggle to get the things she needs for her daughter with the salary she makes. I typed up a note and told her it was in memory of a pastor friend who had passed away and how his favorite saying was to Love God and Love others. (Got that from the funeral.)

Short run with some colleagues this morning while on a business trip. It was misty and a tad wet, but cool enough. Lots of people in the park.

RAOK doubled up which was nice. Bought some vouchers for Greggs bakery and was out out to give them to people sleeping rough and a car was parked with a flat tyre. Why they had been given a parking ticket was beyond me. I paid the ticket on my phone and left a note. Their day seemed bad enough already.13

Today is race day! The half marathon is not until 6pm (Central European Summer time zone) so I'm gonna clean the house, eat lunch and then take a little nap before I go
We got the list of precautions/rules this morning. It will be different. But it will be a real race. I hope I do alright!13 -
3.1 miles last night. I was scheduled to do 11 tomorrow, but I am going to do it this morning because there is a possibility I may need to go out of town later today. I just let my dogs out, and it is sooooo humid. 😭6

Also, ten years ago today...😀13
