20 pounds in one month, that's definitely a "shoot for the stars and hit the moon" kinda thing.

This week was a bust obviously. Didn't control portions, ate out a lot. Had way too many carbs and there you go. Starting yesterday I added powdered collagen supplement to my morning coffee for skin, nails and hopefully, belly bloat. I've just got to get back to the basics. I've been a bit depressed so I do know that I ate for comfort this week. Now that is is staying warmer I will try to move more. I am encouraged by the success stories on here so that gives me hope.

Sooooo I have not been on here for a while!
Fighting with depression and stress and have been focused on just getting through the days!! Getting stiff and sore from not getting any exercise and exhausted from not sleeping. So enough complaining....Goals:
1)Start recording foods again
2)Going for walks minimum 3xweek
3)Connect with friends by phone or text as we are still on Lockdown here.
Protect self from negative energies and my own worrying, guilt, stress.

@RubyRed427 I heard that too! I was shocked. It doesn't sound like it's worth it (at our ages) to have a cheat day at all.4

Not sure how accurate this number is. I actually changed my MFP goals from losing 1.5lbs per week down to 1lbs per week as I am getting closer to my goal and want to start getting a feel for what maintenance might look like. So, I ate about 100 calories MORE per day 🤷♀️ A little confusing but I’ll take it and celebrate it in lieu of the many times there is a surprise number the other way. Lol.

I buy a delicious tasting Collagen at Walgreens and Target. It's called Vital Proteins beauty collagen (strawberry lemonade ). The container is a pink lemonade color. It also quells my hunger, I agree.4 -

Check-in: Today is a rest day for swimming, but I plan on walking 3 miles, to complete a Garmin Connect challenge. I normally walk 1-1.5 miles, but I'll probably walk 3.11 miles so I can call it a 5k.
(This past week, I had a 3.8 pound gain, and I'm still up by a pound. So I've got my work cut out for me this week, to get back on track.)

Both my mom and sister asked me if I lost weight when I saw them yesterday. Yay! However I probably gained it all back at the brunch I threw. I will NOT weigh in until Friday! Back on track today.9

Feeling a bit discouraged as the scale isn’t budging much ... ugh... this week is a new week. I’m going to try something different to see if it helps.8

I decided I am done with my Stepbet app that I have been using since Jan. 1st. Average walking 35 miles per week since then. It's been 16 weeks of that daily step count of over 10,000 or so. I am so tired of walking.
I need to change it up. So, I met my goals for four months (walking a lot) and now will go to the gym and get back to the elliptical and weights. That always works for me.
Also, I got my first box of Hello Fresh. I really enjoyed the box organization (well organized) and so easy to make.
I chose the 600 calories or less meals (three meals per box). Hope that helps my weight loss.
I echo the sentiment MFP was down a lot these past few days.11
