Worked today so no formal exercise. I do have over 10,000 steps, tho. The plan for tomorrow is to do a Jari Love Bootcamp DVD
Panici – welcome!
Lisa – I wouldn’t trust the calipers too much, either. I have a pair and they are accurate to some degree but not a lot
Allie – (((PRAYERS)))
Debbie – I feel your pain not seeing the kids
pip – is there a special reason Kirby is sitting out the ride?
Went for a walk around the block. Now I think I’ll do some crosstitch by the pool. Here’s what I’m making for the soup kitchen. If they want, they can put it in their auction.

Thanks- they are not my kids/grandkids but for all those years I had the kids here more than they were awake at home, then all of a sudden the mom decides that after they were in school that she would be a stay at home mom(she tried twice during the years I had them, only lasted a few weeks, a couple months was the longest time then they came back) then they pulled them. I didn't even get to say goodbye- she text me to say they weren't coming- they were sick, grandma was in town, other reasons/excuses- then finally told me she had quit work and they wouldn't be back- the dad came and got their Christmas gifts and that was it- not even a thank you card from the kids(and I always did tons for the kids on all holidays and just because). She still says they are going to stop by- just a bunch of talk/empty promises- Shows really how much I meant to her. Thought it was more- she even told the kids' teacher when they started school. I had to go to the introduction so the teacher could meet me- Katie referred to me not as the daycare provider but as their "EVERYTHING". Six months later they were gone.

Worked in the garden earlier. Just came in the house before it started pouring- had no clue it was going to rain- it was sunny and beautiful. We vary rarely get rain in May- Didn't get a lot- a couple hours of it and now the sun is out.
Going to work on some sewing this evening- Have to get my skirt done for dad's memorial service- have just over a week to get it done.
It will be mainly black with the white/black print for the inlays.
I have to alter it. I want it long but I will cut it an inch below the mid length so it is perfect length for me- have to take about 5-6 inches off the bottom.
I will be using sheets I bought to make masks out of and one I was given, pattern I got on sale for .99 instead of $19.95 so the skirt will be the perfect length and only cost $2 or $3. (store bought need to be altered for long skirts- mid length are just about perfect as long skirts for me.

He says cuz it’s a one day ride not two.0 -
Exermom- this will be the 2nd time I’ve ever did a ride without him. This will be the first ride riding by myself, not knowing anyone. The first ride I ever did without him was when I accompanied a girl I met at a gym club and she was scared to do a ride so I did it with her.3

Hello all,
Hope everyone is doing well. I’ve been away for about 1.5 years. Wow! Didn’t realize it had been that long. I need to catch-up. We are doing okay here in my corner of Texas.
🔲 We lost our beloved pot-bellied pig. She died a year ago. Now, we have mini goats, and geese, and ducks, and turkeys and chickens. It’s ridiculous. It’s DH’s thing. They are fun - but noisy.
🔲 I’m still following a Keto diet - but struggling to stay on track. Trying to keep my head on straight when I feel those emotional triggers. But, I’ve lost 45lbs. Reversed my idiopathic intracranial hypertension. My optic nerves are no longer swollen. (Whew!) My last blood labs were all great. Fasting blood glucose was 88 and A1c was 5.4. Insulin was normal.
🔲 Something is wrong with my retinas now. I see a retina specialist next week. And, if cleared I have cataract surgery scheduled for mid-June. These big beautiful brown eyes of mine - have been troublesome. One step forward - two steps back. I’ll always have to monitor the pressure in my eyes. I’m on 3 medication eye drops to keep the pressure down. Now, if I can get the rest of the eye parts to act right...
🔲 My word this year is DELIBERATE. I remind myself to be deliberate in my actions. My goals this month are Stay Keto, Move, Observe bedtime. But, here I am awake at 3am.

Morning, afternoon and evening, all...
Ginger - I remember you! Welcome back!
Scenes from the week:Me teaching the nine-year-old grandson how to drive a riding mower, walking beside him while he was dragging brush:
One nekkid little boy contemplating the kiddie pool, and his six-year-old sister on the slip-n-slide behind him. Much splashing, squealing and screaming ensued on all sides...
My daughter, just been peed on by the same nekkid little boy (18 months old):
One little boy with his mouth full of banana--he just learned to lift that foot up as high as his head, and is exercising that skill all over.
Rainy day under the carport - sidewalk chalk for the little one and a radio-controlled truck for the big one.
A rare quiet moment... and me looking old as Methuselah.
Got to get Corey's go-cup of coffee on and get him out the door, and then enough breakfast in me to take my last round of antibiotics for this go-round. Fingers crossed!
Have been losing a few ounces a day just because you're almost always in motion with three kids. It's been a hectic week, but have loved it.
Later, y'all,

Welcome back!! It's great to have you here again! I hope you keep coming back.
So sorry to hear about your pot-bellied pig. So sad to lose your sweet pig.
I am amazed at what you have done for your health. Reversing the pseudo tumor symptoms is major! Way to go. Hope the eye problem resolves.

Welcome back, Ginger!
Lisa- LOVE the pics of the kid's visit! I can almost feel that soft sun-kissed skin on Levi's cheeks (upper cheeks/ not lower)!
Hugs to all! KJ0 -
Lisa - Thank you soooo much for the photos.
Here is a screenshot of a video DDIL sent us this morning. Max is practising for his Grade 2 exams. He does all the actions as if he is taking the exam! Introducing the piece, finishing calmly etc.
My son wants a vintage style bicycle poster for his birthday, to go in the room where he has his Zwift set up. He has told me he likes an expensive one, so he asked if I would give him money towards it. Delighted! One less decision to make.
Really windy here overnight and still gusting. DH didn't go to cricket.
Friday night is wine night, so I am bringing out the steak I bought in Lidl.
I am a great, great aunt again. My brother's daughter's son has just become a father.

Love all the photos and inspirational quotes/stories!
