    Probably bothers me more than an irk but,

    When people have car problems on the highway and pull off on the inside (left in US).
    NO, ride that rim over to the right side and pull as far away from the traffic as possible.
    And if you’re pulling a trailer, NEVER stand between the trailer and your vehicle on the side of the road.
    It WILL GET YOU KILLED.
    I’ve seen it happen, horrifying.

    High school students who park in front of my house at 6:30 a.m. with their stereos blasting. My husband had a bad night and I had just gotten him back to sleep and now he's still awake. I don't care if they park there, but how about a little consideration for people who live here?

    (And boy does that sound like an old lady irk!)

    They’re both bad news for the landlord.
    But the sugar ants can be helped a little with borax and powdered sugar mixed 50/50.
    Put it where the ants can find it, but away from pets and children.

    Carpenter ants are big and black. And they are very bad news.
    Sugar ants are very small. And love moisture damaged wood. Also bad news.

    The sugar and borax is essentially the same stuff that’s in the ant bait you can get at any hardware store. But it’s much less expensive to make your own.

    It’s unlikely to solve the issue. But it should put a damper on it.
