Zzyyggy, we should be seeing blueberry recipes everywhere and in the stores soon because the season has started in Florida. Blueberries from Georgia will be in May and from North Carolina in June. I used to make blueberry pies, hand pies, jam, and syrup. We’d get them from the blueberry farms in south Jersey. That was when our son was a teenager and had a job as a summer camp counselor. We would have a half dozen counselors from summer camp to feed on any given Saturday morning. Blueberries were easy because I could wash and freeze them, then cook them without having to thaw them. I wouldn’t mind having a piece of blueberry pie. Or better yet, a homemade waffle slathered with butter and blueberry jam and topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate fudge sauce. Admittedly, I’ve never had that, but it sounds wonderful. Bet that would be delicious with an iced mocha. II’ll have sweet dreams tonight.

It was so nice and sunny this morning that on my way to work I rode the ferry (I take ferry across the harbour) up top. It was to wet to sit after yesterday's weather but I was the only one up there! (And this is clearly a US based system as I am NOT spelling habour wrong!! 😁😂)

I think today for brunch, I will take scrambled eggs with cheese, 6 slices of bacon, 2 sausages, 2 pieces of dark toast with blueberry jam, 3 pancakes with real maple syrup and whip topping, a banana chocolate chip muffin, and a bowl of fruit. I will take coffee to drink. I will take it outside in the comfy chairs so I can curl up and enjoy the coffee after eating it and just have a nice relaxing day. I just might stay here all day. I will need to go for a swim after the food settles for a bit.
