Hi Linda, tonight I'm ready for a big ole porter house steak with steak fries, a salad, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some chocolate chip cookies and an iced mocha. We had another perfect but chilly fall day today here in the real world. Didn't do much of anything though but watch my scary movies.

Hi, Zzyyggy. Francois made macaroni and cheese for my dinner. I made a nice big salad that would have tasted much better if it had salad dressing on it. I’ll join you by the fire for cookies and coffee. We had a beautiful day and I spent some time outside. I even washed the table on the back deck. It was 75 degrees so I didn’t have to wear a sweatshirt.

No scary movies for me. I think I’ll read my book instead.

Hi Linda, we had a rainy and blustery fall day out there today. Didn't do much of anything today either. For dinner tonight I'll have the Sunday roasted chicken with stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, dinner rolls, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of apple pie, with vanilla ice cream, and an iced mocha. I'll sit in the dining room tonight by the fire, and watch the aquariums.

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had wonderful weather this weekend. Even though the temperature was 78 degrees this afternoon, it felt chilly—it was windy and the humidity was low. We went out for burgers at Logan’s for dinner. I thought it wouldn’t be too busy on a Sunday night. Boy, was I wrong. When we got there it was fairly quiet, but then they got slammed. It was freezing where we were sitting because one of the air conditioning vents was blowing directly on me. I was prepared though. I brought my sweatshirt with me, so I was quite comfortable.

I asked Sweetie if he wanted dessert at the cybercafe and he said yes. He wants chocolate. He ordered a chocolate eclair, an order of chocolate mousse, and a separate bowl with two scoops of Truly Chocolate ice cream with fudge sauce. A chocolate eclair sounds good. I haven’t had on in years. Truly Chocolate ice cream is delicious, too. 🤔 I think I’ll have to order both.

Hi Linda, glad you had a good time last night. We had a rainy day today here in the real world. I tried to go swimming but the program pool was closed, and the lap pool was really busy. I got in about 15 minutes before it got really crowded for me. I gave up and went for a walk instead. It wasn't raining that badly when I left. Now it is. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a bowl of french onion soup with lots of bread and butter, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a chocolate brownie with chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce and an iced mocha. I think I need a chocolate fix. I'll eat in the dining room again. I love the Halloween themed fish tanks decorated in orange and black.

Hi, Zzyyggy. Maybe the pool was crowded because it was a holiday for some people? We used to get Columbus Day off, but our grandson had school today. Your weather was too cold for me to want to go walking in the rain. We had another beautiful day in the mid 70’s. Tomorrow the temperature is supposed to drop down for a high of 60 degrees. We haven’t had rain since Hurricane Helene almost three weeks ago.

Your dessert order sounds wonderful. I’m ordering the same thing. Then I’ll head off to bed. I’m tired and it’s getting late.

Hi Linda, we had a cloudy day today in the real world and chilly but no rain. Temp never made it above 50 degrees. Got in a swim, and went to the Shelburne Museum with my sisters and then to lunch. Got the rest of my goals done, and I'm ready for bed now. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the meatloaf platter with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, dinner rolls and a coca cola. For dessert I think I'll have a bowl of Francois's pumpkin ice cream, and an iced mocha. Had the Starbuck's kind this morning. Had to stop at Market32 between swimming and the museum to pick up some prescriptions so I picked up an iced mocha as well while waiting for my ride to the museum. It was good.

Hi, Zzyyggy. I see you’ve had a busy day. Sit by the fire for a bit. Viktor will bring a pair of bunny slippers for you. I’m sure he’ll whip up another iced mocha, too. When Sweetie heard that Francois made pumpkin ice cream, decided to have pumpkin pie and pumpkin ice cream. I ordered a pumpkin ice cream latte float. Yes, pumpkin and iced coffee! 😋!

Hi Linda, another chilly fall day today. Spent the afternoon playing bingo, and went for a walk afterwords. A nice long walk. It felt good. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the rotisserie chicken with potato salad, corn on the cob, biscuits, and a coca cola. Lots of butter with all that. For dessert I'm in the mood for chocolate again. I'll have a slice of devil's food cake with vanilla ice cream and a cafe mocha. I'll enjoy it in the dining room infront of the fire place again.

Hi, Zzyyggy. I’m glad I can sit by the fire tonight at the cybercafe. It’s 42 degrees outside right now at 9:00 pm and I’m getting cold sitting in my living room. The HVAC unit in our downstairs isn’t working. I think it’s been down about a week. The weather was mild and we didn’t notice until this morning. The temperature dropped into the low 60’s yesterday. It got cold overnight and this morning it was in the low 40’s. Today the temperature stayed in the mid 50’s. The thermostat said it was heating, but the burner and the fan never came on. It’s not too cold in the house, but I’m not used to it being 67 degrees. We have a frost advisory for tomorrow (Thursday) morning. I bet it’s going to be chilly in the house. Thankfully, the HVAC technician came right out. We’ll have to wait on a replacement part, but it will be near 70 degrees on Friday and then the weather will warm up into the mid to high 70’s in the coming week. Plus, we do have heat upstairs. Maybe we’ll see a difference in our utility bill for the month.

Viktor’s bringing out a pot of coffee for me. Francois made apple bread pudding that will be served warm with caramel sauce. I think I’ll skip the ice cream tonight. Sweetie says he’ll have some bread pudding, too. It’s one of his favorite desserts.

Hi Linda, we had a gorgeous beautiful fall day today. The temps were above the 60s, and I sat outside for a bit to read. There wasn't much of a wind either. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the fried scallop platter with french fries and coleslaw with a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some klondike bars and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight.

Hi, Zzyyggy. Still no heat downstairs. It was 37 degrees outside this morning and 64 degrees inside. Our master bedroom is downstairs and I did not want to get out of bed this morning. It was definitely a macaroni and cheese night tonight. I think I’ll go in and sit by the fire in the Club Room, Zzyyggy. Bring your dessert and come sit by the fire. Maybe I’ll finally warm up.

Now I need chocolate for dessert. I see Francois made homemade toffee, dipped in chocolate and rolled in chopped pecans. Mm, yummy. These will be good with my cafe mocha. Viktor brought my cafe mocha in a thermal carafe to keep it nice and hot. Well, tomorrow is Friday and I’m hoping the part comes for our HVAC.

Zzyyggy, we finally got heat at 3 pm today. Yeah! The technician came out with a new part for the HVAC, but first he wanted to check a few things. It wasn’t the control board after all. There was a tiny little pressure hose that needed to be reattached. Ta da—all better. That saved us over $600. 😅. I made chili in the oven just to heat up the kitchen and living room. Just as the chili came out of the oven, the heat came on.

Francois, our world famous cybercafe chef, made cornbread to go with the chili and Viktor brought out a carafe of coffee for me. I saw some cute little pumpkin muffins with cream cheese icing in the bakery. Those will be a delicious dessert. I can sit by the fire and continue warming up.

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had the same weather as you did today. No complaints here. I love when Francois is cooking on the grill. Not only are the steaks delicious, but his grilled vegetables are wonderful, as well. Dinner was delightful. Now it’s time for dessert. Sweetie and I are having Francois’ double chocolate grasshopper pie. It’s got a chocolate crumb crust, a layer of dark chocolate ganache, and a layer of chocolate chip mint ice cream, topped with chocolate fudge sauce and whipped cream.

Hi Linda, I tested positive for Covid this morning and have been sleeping on and off all day. Got outside for a bit, it's another perfectly warm sunny fall day here in the real world. Temp is 72 degrees. Needless to say I didn't go anywhere or do much of anything today. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a big bowl of chicken soup with bread and butter, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some chocolate chip cookies, and an iced mocha. I'll eat it in the dining room by the fire.

Oh, no! Covid? That’s terrible. Chicken soup is good—I hope you have some in the real world. Francois made some iced ginger molasses cookies, too. Viktor’s bringing out the cookies and coffees for both of us. We can sit here and enjoy the fire and nap.

We had another warm fall day, nearly 80 degrees. It’s beautiful during the day and nice and chilly at night, with no rain in sight until Halloween night. Sweetie is in charge of buying the Halloween candy. I don’t want to know it’s here because then I’ll want to eat it. I would prefer to eat the Halloween candy at the cybercafe. It’s just better somehow. 😉

Hi Linda, we had another perfect sunny fall day here in the real world. I slept in until about ten and then got up when the guys came in to take the air conditioner down. They put it in my bedroom for me. Slept on and off all day. Went outside for a bit to read. It's like 73 degrees here. My livingroom itself is 80 degrees now without the ac. I have all the blinds down though and both windows open. I'm feeling a little better tonight. For dinner I would like the fried chicken platter with mashed potatoes, gravy, and peas. A coca cola with that please. For dessert I'll have some brownies and an iced mocha. We'll have another warm day tomorrow, and then it goes down to the 50s.

Hi, Zzyyggy. I’m glad you’re feeling a little better. You’ll be glad the air conditioner is gone once the overnight temperature goes back down in the 30’s. Brr. We’re having beautiful weather in the Charlotte area, too.

Sweetie ordered a double caramel Magnum Bar for dessert. I ordered a brownie sundae with vanilla chocolate fudge swirl ice cream topped with fudge sauce and a double sprinkle of mini M&M’s. Perhaps an avalanche of M&M’s would be even better or maybe enough M&M’s to have some in every bite.

Zzyyggy, we need a movie night. Francois and Viktor can make Halloween popcorn. That’s cheddar cheese popcorn, caramel popcorn, and chocolate covered popcorn mixed with candy corn, M&M’s, and mini rolos. Does Hallmark make Halloween romances? I’m afraid of scary 🫣 movies. If you want to watch scary movies I’ll wear my headphones and listen to baroque will I read my book. I’m just here for the candy. Maybe we can ask Viktor to make a pitcher of iced mochas.

Hi Linda, that sounds like fun, a sleep over at the cyber cafe. We can watch non scary movies as well. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a big plate of spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and a salad with a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some chocolate chip cookies and an iced mocha with all that halloween candy. There must be Halloween romances from Hallmark. They have everything else. It was windy today, and a lot cooler. I had a busy day getting my toes clipped, and getting vaccinnated for Covid and the flue. All in the same building.

I think I’d like a bowl of chicken soup this evening and a big monster chocolate chip cookie. I stayed up really late watching movies with Zzyyggy last night. I think I’ll go to bed early, I’m tired. Tomorrow it’s three hundred laps in the cyberpool in my yacht.

Hi Linda, I thought I posted yestarday, but apparently my computer has other ideas. We had a perfect fall day here in the real world. A little on the chilly side, but warm in the sunshine. Finally got in a swim this afternoon. That felt good. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the fish n chips platter with plenty of fries, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have one of those monster chocolate chip cookie and an iced mocha. Another movie night tonight?

Zzyyggy, another movie night sounds wonderful. Francois has even made some delicious appetizers for us. Yes, I was test tasting them. Yup, that’s my excuse for the duck sauce on my shirt. I’ll just lick that off my shirt. Mmm. Anyway, the fried wontons are yummy, especially when dipped in duck sauce. The stuffed mushrooms also passed the test, as well as the bruschetta. There’s stuffed grape leaves and stuffed dates and a selection of cheeses. I love the Stilton cheese. The prosciutto wrapped asparagus is excellent. And there are the usual array of dips for chips and breads and vegetables and fruits. I think Francois is expecting a crowd out on the patio by the pool for a big screen movie night party. We can always hide out in the man cave. Viktor will gladly bring in a butler’s cart full of goodies. Of course, if the entire wolf pack and assorted zombies decide to join us in the man cave, nowhere will be quiet.

Whew, I got carried away, didn’t I? I guess it’s been a while since I had really good appetizers. I almost started listing all the dips and breads and . . . Oh. Well. My next big decision is what to drink. Hmm.🤔
