@martaindale glad your house is sealed well from scorpions. But I would be tempted to go outside at night with a black light just out of curiosity :D We used to get a lot of them in the house where I grew up when I was a kid. I live about 5 miles north of there now, and haven't seen one in the 33 years I have lived in my house.

@rheddmobile Two snakes in one run? Yikes! I really hate snakes, of any kind.

Have fun on your vacation @Teresa502!

Hope you recover quickly from your fall @Tramboman!

    Impressive intervals @johnisrunning

@7lenny7 very eclectic running playlist ;)

Looking forward to next week's weather...the 7 day forecast has dewpoints in the 50's and morning temps 60's 🤯 That will feel unbelievable (assuming I can run)

    Distance Log:
    9/2 5.22 miles
    9/4 5.90

    Total: 11.12/80 miles

This talk about scorpions is giving me that creeping feeling on the back of my neck! Our first two years in this house we had wasps nest in our walls and I thought that was bad (we got a couple per day actually in the living spaces) but scorpions would scare me a lot more. I think your approach is very sensible @martaindale !

@7lenny7 love the playlist! I also really enjoyed reading your race report. :)

While having music, etc. on runs has never really been my thing, I like the fun variety posted so far. My list would be all over the map, wind up being multiple lists, etc. I haven't even maintained a playlist for years and rarely listen to music any more (I'm such a crotchety old man now). Since learning about bone conducting earphones though I've considered maybe getting some. I can be an audio snob though (part of the crotchety old man requirements).

I have done a couple of runs so far, topped with a lovely 12.4k along the sea front this morning.

    Spring is in the air!

Great job on your race @7lenny7!

Oh no @Tramboman! Sorry about the fall!

@quilteryoyo I hope you get your 12 mile run in, but like others have said, if you can run 10, you can run 13.  So just relax and enjoy the Half. I have a really eclectic running playllist,  but one song I always include on a HM playlist is Queen "Don't Stop Me Now". @7lenny7 "Come Down" is also on my list as are many of the songs on your playlist.
