Happy Thursday all!
Pip- Sending some powerful healing thoughts/vibes/prayers your way! Big hugs to Kirby and Yogi while they wait. ((( )))
Posting a pic for Allie- Allie sent me the most recent pic of Miles and asked me to post for her. I believe he is nearly two months old, now.
Rita- Sending peace and strength to you and your son.
Kylia- LOL "two grumpy blind men"! Hahahaha! Hang in there!
Heather- Ugh! Your son's unlucky afternoon, paint, coat, shop-vac,....Well, that is his three unlucky events. He is done for the month! I have had a couple of dreams about people that have later come true; but haven't had any premonitions about danger or bad things happening.
Machka- Hmmm...Most exciting thing recently...I got tickets to see Sting in May! He is my "bucket list" artist to see. I have loved him and his music since his early Police years and my early teen years. He has never come anywhere close to where I live, and this spring he is coming to Grand Rapids, which is 30 minutes from my home! I actually had started saving money to go see him in Vegas, because I thought that would be the only place to see him, as he hasn't been touring the US lately. Anyway, I am so excited and at that place where I don't want to talk about it in case I hex it! STING!
Love and hugs to all! Kids arriving! Crazy Thursday, here I come. ttfn xoxoxo KJ (Kelly)

My ennui isn't a premonition. It's a 'down', sleepy period I always seem to go through before a big event that is more than usually exciting. If I was leading a big weekend workshop, or going somewhere exciting for an occasion. It's as if I'm hoarding my energy.
A well known journalist recently mentioned that he had the same thing, so I just wondered if anyone else on here had the same thing. It feels like the depression I used to have for so many years. Luckily, now I have identified it, it is lifting. I'm listening to inspiring podcasts by my favourite people, which is a help. As the cruise draws closer I know it will disappear, but it is baffling.
Zoom with girlfriends this afternoon.
This morning I typed a couple of poems I wrote in the 80s into my new book. Revisiting them is very nostalgic. Much to ponder.

Pip - thinking about you and Kirby this morning. Hope it all goes very well, and your incredible fitness levels should help you bounce back quickly.
Allie - sorry you don't feel well, but I'm proud of you for letting the family know you aren't well. Taking care of yourself is important. Miles looks like a very happy baby.
Rori - so pleased you're able to start ridding yourself of the paperwork and other items you won't use again. I'm beginning to do the same, shift things around in my office so I can still use my computer, but open it up so there is room for crafting. Oh, and the job sounds like fun.
Carol - hope the ENT can provide what you need.
As usual, so many more I wanted to reply to, but lost in my balky brain somewhere. I'm way distractable these days, and trying to calm that down. Not always easy.
The weather's been absolutely incredible the last few days, chilly mornings and high 60s, low 70s every day. I've been outside absorbing the sunshine as much as I can, but everything still tires me, and it seems to be cumulative.
In other words, if I go to Walmart this morning, that's pretty much it for the day. I did eight minutes on the elliptical yesterday (NSV!) and had to sit down for a couple hours. Pretty sure it's the anemia, but will talk to the doc on Monday and see what's next to help alleviate that. I'm already taking iron out the wazoo.
The weather's supposed to be rainy this weekend, which means Corey can relax instead of working in the yard all day. I love it when he can just decompress completely.
And... our taxes are done. My best friend has done our taxes for more than ten years, and she never charges me because I work with her to keep her website current, test out the mobile app, etc. I'm also her on-demand Excel consultant. The only effort on my part is scanning our signature page back to her for her files.
Shredding all tax information older than seven years will be a large part of cleaning up my office. Whee! Unfortunately, I actually do enjoy it, because I truly am a big geeky girl.
Later, y'all,
Love,
Lisa8 -

Rita, what Vicki said... Sending hugs and prayers. It IS so hard when we can't make things right for our kids. We're supposed to be able to do that! I wish I had that magic wand for you. For all of us parents who are hurting.
So sorry about the migraines going on! OMG, I've had those... thankfully, not in a long time!
Prayers for your surgery, Pip!2 -
Rori amazing job of starting the renewal process.
Rita and Pip surrounding you in healing energy.
Rita Happy Birthday:flowerfor you:
Rita hoping more people will come into your life to support you and your son during this time of healing. Believe he will find his way through. You will be called to be his advocate. Sometimes with the way the system works it forces you to be creative to get your message through to the right people. Sending you patience. Something I am still trying to find ways to build.
Rori love the word renewal as a focus.
I have a phase I am trying to remember as I go through my day. To honor my fear as it tells me what I must respect.
When fear iis unhealthy it sends me down the path where I lose my voice, it chips away at my self worth, it puts distance between me and the ones I love, second guess myself.
Example of healthy fear is not putting my hand in a fire because I will get burned. Unhealthy fear of fire would keep me from building a fire when I need one to keep from freezing because of my fear fire prevents me from doing what is necessary.
Really enjoying the summit The Science of Healing yesterday a woman with last name of Glass played singing bowls infused with crystals my comment was I heard the whales singing. A young musician name of Maejor was interviewed about the creative process he writes music in both the 432 and 440 vibrations. The 432 is much more calming. 440 brings up your energy. Loved his quote...
"A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles".
Another speaker discussed the healing affect of deep bass sounds on the human body in terms of oyxgen in the blood. They took a sample of blood that was dark lacking oxygen and explosed it to a deep base vibration and the blood turned bright red. Just think what effect this could have on those suffering from COVID. We are on the brink of rediscovering many healing practices that have been misplaced in the noise of modern life.6 -
Evelyn: Congrats on the decision to retire!
Pip: With you!

Allie ~ Miles is so darn cute! He looks so happy.
Pip ~ Love, prayers and healing thoughts! ππ»
ENT visit a bit disappointing! I think they think my feeling of blocked feelin in right ear is all in my head! Did find out that hearing in my left ear is much worse than in my right. Guess I'll see if I can get a hearing aid for one ear.

HEATHER I don't get this kind of reaction before a big event. Sometimes anxiety and possibly something akin to ennui after some events...-1
-
I feel slight ennui today but not previous to a big event...bit it's not major. Going to meet a friend for dinner and it might well dissipate at least the time we are eating together.2

Well i have a drs appointment at 2 pm the on call never left any notes , so have to go in..I texted Tracy im hoping Carmine will walk home so Tracy doesnt have to go pick them up,they have been walking the last few days with a new friend

Michele-I really admire how you plan your exercise for the following day. I always plan to exercise, I just don't plan which one(s) I'm doing. Your way is probably better for habit forming and sticking to it.
I have heard how fuel prices are insanely high, but I haven't noticed it here since I normally drive only on electric power. I have noticed electric prices going up, but that is due to greedy energy providers. Fortunately, we have solar. I think we need another panel or two, however.
Got the next trip planned yesterday. That was a difficult one. There are people who like to plan travel and then there's me. I like to travel. I hate planning it. Guess it's good I never tried to be a travel agent.
Heather-I get anxious before a trip. Can't sleep. Feel achy and exhausted. Once I'm through security at the airport, I'm OK.
Pip-Sending good thoughts your way.
Carol-Hope they figure it out. I hate when doctors dismiss our concerns. We know our bodies better than they do.
Rita-Sending hugs.
Margaret-Interesting about bass and oxygen.
My aunt told me that she thinks hearing loss is very intentional in nature...women lose ability to hear lower pitches and men lose the ability to hear higher pitch. Keeps us from killing each other.
Hugs to those who need them and happy birthday to the March birthday peeps!

Pip--Thinking of you today and sending prayers and hugs.
Rori--Glad to hear your job is going well and you are meeting new people. Sounds like you have a new room and I am sure once the cat tree is put up, Mars will be happy too.
Kylia--Hope the men got to their appointments with least about of hassle as possible.
Evelyn--Good for you getting your notice done and making plans for Aug. It will be here before we know it.
Machka--I have been printing off the action for happiness calendar for a co-worker and I for months and do enjoy them and the challenge they give me to see things in a more positive way.
Allie--Hope you are feeling better and doctor got your meds ordered. Saw the new picture of Miles and he seems like a very happy little boy. Growing so fast.
KJ--Thanks for posting the picture for Allie.
Margaret--Thanks for sharing and giving me things to think about. Fear and music and the effects on our lives and bodies.
Carol--Sorry your doctor appointment didn't go well. I agree with Tina that we know our bodies and know when something is not right. Don't give up and pray the hearing aides will help.
Had a nice evening last night and glad the birthday is behind me. Today is a new day and baby steps.
Blessings, Vicki GRAND ISLAND, NE where it was 80 yesterday, 60 today and to be 70 tomorrow with snow or rain on Saturday. No wonder people are sick you don't know how to dress7 -
Our Zoom today was interesting. Trying to arrange a get-together for the last week in April. I prefer to stay in a hotel as I am allergic to close contact and prefer not to participate in my difficult friend's ill gotten gains. I need a quick get-away! Plus I love the isolation of a hotel room! All will be well.
We are going to fit in an extra Zoom just before I go away.
My difficult friend's SIL's mother's sister is married to the chief BBC reporter from Ukraine. Everyone is very worried about him. He is on the news every night. He can't get out. Hard to even watch.
I succumbed to a couple,e of Pernods after all that. I've sent my 'widow's mite' to Ukraine.
Strange and weird story! I am currently writing about an old lover, and transcribing poems I wrote about him. It has been a nostalgic and touching experience. Today I was about to put on some gold earrings he gave me in 1985. The clasp broke. They are repairable, but ...... I'm sure he is dead because I haven't been able to trace him, despite trying all avenues.
It felt very spooky .........
Love from Heather, UK, pondering the past.

Well went to the dr, got Keflex and then had to wait 45 min at the pharmacy for them to fill it because they sent it to the mail order pharmacy firstπ
So then stopped up to see Tracy and Miles and forgot today is guitar lesson day for Carmine,so brought them down,I made the mistake of calling them Tal and got threatened.. they are really out if control.. Tracy has turned there phone off ,someone is not happy as that is a lifeline.. but there needs to be some type of respect.Carmine has none, for anyone, not her parents, not for me and im guessing not for themselves..which is sad.. has been seeing a counselor for 2 years and seems to only be getting worse.6 -

We got through my mom's heart ultrasound. She tells me the doctor called with results and she is better than last time, four years ago. Which makes me wonder what they really did say. Do valves get better? Why would the doctor call same day to report routine results? I will find out at the cardiologist next week.
The doctor asked for me, which really surprised mom. She still wants to manage her own health. But her memory is so bad and she is desperate to believe she is fine, so she persuades herself that she is. I'm still worried.
