July 1 - 163.4 (Happy Canada Day! Work gave us a four day weekend. My husband and I came up to the lake last night. Sun is shining!)
July 2 - 162 (We got a 60 minute walk in yesterday in the heat and had a few drinks to celebrate Canada Day. Night was cut short as we had a huge thunderstorm and the Internet was so bad inside because everyone was in their trailers so we went to bed early and had a great restorative sleep.)
July 3 - 165.2 (Up early and back home as we have a 75th birthday brunch to attend. Later today we also have dinner out with friends.)
July 4 - 164 (Happy 4th of July to all the Americans! Our work gave us a four day weekend for Canada Day so I was still off today. I did two Peloton rides and a 5 mile walk and food stop with my husband and dog... so much fun but I am wiped. Need to do some housework now.)
July 5 - 164 (Busy work day but I got away at lunch for a walk with my husband. After supper and some TV we went out for another walk with our dog. Lots of steps again today.)
July 6 - 164.6 (Didn't sleep as long as I wanted. Started with a good filling breakfast. Will get my 10K steps today and hopefully ride the Peloton too.)
July 7 - 164.4 (Had my long ride on the Peloton last night. Today I hope to get back on the bike but I also need to finish getting my house ready for my company tomorrow.)
July 8 - 163.4 (Started my day with the Stampede Parade and a breakfast. The sun is shining and our city has come alive. I worked this afternoon and tonight we are laying low because my husband is in a 160 KM Gran Fondo bike race tomorrow that we're up early for.)

I am new to using this forum so please bare with me. I am 4 ft 11 inches tall. I am a 52 year old mother of two beautiful Daughters. Ages 32 and 29. The oldest daughter has 5 children of her own ages 15,10,7,5 and 4 months old. She also has a 8 and 6 year old step children full time. The other Daughter has a 3 year old and a new baby due the last part of January 2023. My doctor has set my goal weight at 119. I am on my journey to qualify for weight loss surgery. I will not know if they will do the surgery until September. I am doing this to get myself healthy so I can enjoy all of my grandkids. And even be able to enjoy doing things with my friends. And I could sure use a couple friends.

Hi Everyone, my name is Amy and I am from England. I hope I am still OK to join as just found this challenge
I weigh in KGS though not lbs if that is OK? I am 36 years old and have had 2 kidney transplants and take lot of medication including steroids which has seen my weight go up by 12kgs since August last year when I had my second transplant. I have been trying to shift some of my gain since Jan and the weight loss is very slow. I am getting stricter with myself and actively using mfp again to keep track.
Hope everyone has a good month and meets their goals.

I got up to go to bed at 1:30 AM and was up at 6:00. I only got in 2100 steps so my scale didn’t go down much. I felt so bad I even took an at-home covid test but it was solidly negative. Sore and in pain today from all the laying down. My body is not used to that! I’m still feeling woozy. I hope it gets better. I am babysitting DGS today. I am being scheduled for a CTA scan which is less invasive than a heart cath. Waiting for the call on date and time.
07/09.…..199.6…..(Trend Weight 202.9)….. Finally day 4 of no TMI and relief came! It showed up on the scale in a big way. Onederland! Can I hang on to that elusive old friend of mine? Time will tell. I have been feeling fatigue and bad cough since Thursday. Finally tested positive for covid last night. Left message for Dr who called me back and said just take it easy at home. No need for hospital. Retest after the 5th day of symptoms. I am vaccinated x 3 but didn’t get the 4th booster this summer due to all those heart tests. Cardiologist had said to wait so I had planned the newest one available in the fall. Clearly the old vacs are wearing off. So far, this has not affected my hunger. I’ve even logged for part of the day until I just get too tired to get up and finish or close it out. However, I know I’ve been below my 1400 calories and stayed within my macros because I have still carefully planned my meals and snacks. Just not a lot of movement and no exercise.

07/08.…..201.8…..(Trend Weight 203.2)….. Wow! What fatigue yesterday. Laid down on the couch at 4:30 dozing off and on (I don’t take naps normally). I probably only ate about 500 calories. I got up to go to bed at 1:30 AM and was up at 6:00. I only got in 2100 steps so my scale didn’t go down much. I felt so bad I even took an at-home covid test but it was solidly negative. Sore and in pain today from all the laying down. My body is not used to that! I’m still feeling woozy. I hope it gets better. I am babysitting DGS today. I am being scheduled for a CTA scan which is less invasive than a heart cath. Waiting for the call on date and time.
07/09.…..199.6…..(Trend Weight 202.9)….. Finally day 4 of no TMI and relief came! It showed up on the scale in a big way. Onederland! Can I hang on to that elusive old friend of mine? Time will tell. I have been feeling fatigue and bad cough since Thursday. Finally tested positive for covid last night. Left message for Dr who called me back and said just take it easy at home. No need for hospital. Retest after the 5th day of symptoms. I am vaccinated x 3 but didn’t get the 4th booster this summer due to all those heart tests. Cardiologist had said to wait so I had planned the newest one available in the fall. Clearly the old vacs are wearing off. So far, this has not affected my hunger. I’ve even logged for part of the day until I just get too tired to get up and finish or close it out. However, I know I’ve been below my 1400 calories and stayed within my macros because I have still carefully planned my meals and snacks. Just not a lot of movement and no exercise.
07/10.…..198.4…..(Trend Weight 202.5)….. Watched calories carefully since I’m not getting in a lot of movement or exercise with this Covid virus. Appetite is good. I can still taste and smell. Very tired, not sleeping well and the worst part is the phlegm that causes such coughing. Throat getting rough . Feels more like pneumonia than anything, but I’ll wait and see how it is after day 5 is over. It’s far to a hospital for X-rays. Weight still coming down. I’m really trying to work on it. Spacing my meals out and leaving enough calories for a snack is key.

July 4th DNW DNT. Traveling finally caught up with me. I let myself get overly hungry and ended up binging on snacks. Back at it today, starting with a long walk. Happy 4th.

July 1 - 163.4 (Happy Canada Day! Work gave us a four day weekend. My husband and I came up to the lake last night. Sun is shining!)
July 2 - 162 (We got a 60 minute walk in yesterday in the heat and had a few drinks to celebrate Canada Day. Night was cut short as we had a huge thunderstorm and the Internet was so bad inside because everyone was in their trailers so we went to bed early and had a great restorative sleep.)
July 3 - 165.2 (Up early and back home as we have a 75th birthday brunch to attend. Later today we also have dinner out with friends.)
July 4 - 164 (Happy 4th of July to all the Americans! Our work gave us a four day weekend for Canada Day so I was still off today. I did two Peloton rides and a 5 mile walk and food stop with my husband and dog... so much fun but I am wiped. Need to do some housework now.)
July 5 - 164 (Busy work day but I got away at lunch for a walk with my husband. After supper and some TV we went out for another walk with our dog. Lots of steps again today.)
July 6 - 164.6 (Didn't sleep as long as I wanted. Started with a good filling breakfast. Will get my 10K steps today and hopefully ride the Peloton too.)
July 7 - 164.4 (Had my long ride on the Peloton last night. Today I hope to get back on the bike but I also need to finish getting my house ready for my company tomorrow.)
July 8 - 163.4 (Started my day with the Stampede Parade and a breakfast. The sun is shining and our city has come alive. I worked this afternoon and tonight we are laying low because my husband is in a 160 KM Gran Fondo bike race tomorrow that we're up early for.)
July 9 - 163 (Up early as my husband is in a Gran Fondo bike race today. I am hanging out in beautiful Longview, Alberta waiting for him. Will try to walk and get some steps while I wait.)
July 10 - 161.2 (Today I want to do two Peloton rides, get a walk in, and then we go out for supper in downtown Calgary with friends.)
July 11 - 160.8 (Amazing dinner out last night at the top rated new restaurant in Canada according to a recently issued list. I had gotten a lot of of exercise and planned for it so the scale was kind to me this morning. This afternoon I have a party at a corporate tent for Stampede and then we go to the grounds for a concert. Will be a late night and my exercise will all be getting my steps.)
