I mean, I love me a good sammie too, walkin' ;-). My current fave is Trader Joe's yummy bread, toasted, with Dusseldorf style mustard, roast turkey, provolone or muenster, and half an apple, cut. Apple IN the sandwich, ofc !

    What's your favorite sammie?

I wanted to share my journey to losing 45 pounds and how I've managed to keep the weight off. The method was simple. I only counted calories, and to keep my body strong, I've taken a 45-minute walk each day. I don't count the calories I burn walking in my daily total, but I do track my exercise with a smartwatch. I started at 276 pounds with a daily calorie intake of 1,900 calories. This past week is week 14, so I've been doing this for some time now. I hope my experience can help someone else reach their goal.

Welcome to the blog Jon, yes, I believe that tracking caloric intake on a consistent basis goes a long way to achieving success with ones nutrition and weight goals. I also do not count my calories burned via activity as it often leads to weight gain.
