06/28-191.2 β - (Trend Weight: 191.0) What a disappointment! I was well under calories yesterday (988). My carbs were within my limits and made up of healthy carefully chosen items. Contributing factors are likely a lack of sleep last night (5 hours), a very late dinner (11:30 pm ) and no TMI this morning. I am a night owl and my dinner is usually at about 8:30 or 9:00 pm. However, the pork loin just wasnβt cooking as fast as it should have been on the inside. It did finally get done but is my oven okay? I guess I will find out in the days/weeks to come. Most days are just too hot to turn the oven on right now. Anyway, hopefully things will settle in so I can have a reasonable weight for the end of the challenge in just two more days!
πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ06/29-188.8 β - (Trend Weight: 190.8) Go figure. Weight was easy up yesterday and easy down today with nothing different or unusual either way. Still no TMI today x 2 or x3. I canβt even remember which now. However, I did get more sleep last night. Dinner was still very very late (11:30 pm). I was so busy and so angry about it that I ate 5 extra crackers in my soup because I was being defiant, stubborn and acting like a toddler I suppose. That put me a bit over on my carbs but my calories were still well within limits. No time for exercise either which was disappointing. My daughter made an Alfredo concoction and I am proud that I did not eat it (which is one reason my dinner was so late). The Alfredo would have been a lot of calories (carbs would have been ok) but the pasta would have been a carb disaster. At least there is thatβ¦.

06/22 β 189.8 β (Trend Weight β 191.8) Yay! Iβve finally touched down in a new decade, the 180βs !!!! Okay, okay, so I am in by the skin of my teeth, but Iβm feeling so hopeful! I never feel truly into a new decade until I hit the 7. 187.xx because of the ease it is to fluctuate back up by a pound or more due to fluid, hormones or TMI (potty) issues. But dipping my toe in like this is so encouraging.
ποΈποΈποΈποΈ06/29 β 188.8 β (Trend Weight β 190.8) It is highly unlikey that I will lose a full pound overnight and make my goal of 187.8. However, Iβve lost a few pounds this month and have gotten pretty close. Tomorrow is my final weigh-in for the monthβs tally so I hope to stay on track today and not self-sabotage. I am, quite honestly, just happy to have hit a new decade of the 180βs. Itβs been a full year since Iβve seen that decade! Until tomorrowβ¦.Have a great Sunday!

June reflection: my weight was a rollercoaster this month and so was my diet. It may sound a little strange, but I havenβt quite figured out the transition to a summer diet. With more cookouts, partyβs, being out and about - my routine and eating has been completely off! I need to figure out how to keep my protein up and calories in check! I did stay more consistent with exercise in doing yoga, Pilates and taking walks, so I feel good about that. Im ready to keep at it in July!

πΆββοΈπΆββοΈπΆββοΈ 06/30-189.0 β - (Trend Weight: 190.5) Wow, did my legs fill with fluid by last night! That explains the uptick on the scale as it was a pretty perfect day otherwise. I know I am supposed to be taking a prescribed water pill due to heart issues but who has time to stay by the toilet to pee every 10 minutes (no exaggeration!)? I probably take it about twice per month feeling many times I donβt really need it. However, last night it was definitely pooling at my ankles and in my abdomen so I plan on taking it today. Perhaps that will make a difference on the scale tomorrow. Fluid is not fat so if I lose that I can get a better pic of where I really am. I really want that magical 7 !!! Iβll try to stay compliant although I hit the floor hungry today from the minute I awoke. That usually means there was a weight loss and my body rebelling by getting overly hungry. I will try to choose foods wisely and stay on track. 2.8 lbs down this month. Iβll never know if I would have made the 4 lb goal without the fluid. Maybe, Maybe not. Iβll know more tomorrow I guess. However, I will say that I am now in the new decade of the 180βs and for that I am very happy and grateful. See you tomorrow on our July round!
