WOMEN AGES 50+ FOR JUNE 2025

😀 Annie, I have taken 5000 iu of Vitamin D for years and my doctor agrees. Good idea to go back to Strong Women Stay Young. That's a good program with a good plan to increase weight as you get stronger.
😀 Reading all your shower comments has gotten me thinking (not changing, just thinking). I liked taking a bath but my first apartment in 1970 had only a shower so I had no choice and found that showers were fast and efficient. The house I've been in since 2011 has only a shower in the master bath although I tried a bath from time to time, it was easier to just stick with the shower. I googled how often to bathe or shower and the answer had a lot to do with your skin type. Jake started showering only every other day at the suggestion of two friends with dry sensitive skin like his. But then he always worried that he might smell bad even though by then he wasn't do any strenuous work. I have such a well established routine of daily showers six days a week, that it would take a lot for me to want to change.
😀 Machka, I find work in the yard relaxing. It's a solitary pleasure for me. I like the sense of putting things in order.
😀 MIchele, I find that all that I do in the yard is "me time"
😀 Supplements the only ones I take are vitamin D and Calcium.
😀 furikake QFC has it but it has enough sodium to deter me since I'm actively looking to avoid added sodium.
😀Terri, Your cards are beautiful.
😀 I'm home from my walk (6700 steps so far) and finished with my snack (Dave's Killer Bread with cream cheese and sliced green olives) and headed out to putter in my garden. It's not warm, but it's sort of dry.

Heehee, I am no miss traveler😂😂. But I do like traveling with my sister. I make her belly laugh, so that makes me feel happy. I do silly things. But really I do like being a happy, content and home hermit.💖👍🏼 As long as its no more than a week I'm good. Anything longer and I am antsy! Its nice that she asks me, and sun and heat in October sounds maurvalous! I will most likely have to sleep on an air mattress but I have before. My cousin has 4 loud dogs, but I love her dearly and can overlook that. She has a pool which I will most likely live in.😂💖

It was a new surprising flavor to combine a berry with bleu cheese! I liked it! Then the buttermilk dressing was nice with the crispy lettuce.
Yes my sister is like 5'3" so I am amazed she likes those trucks. Of course her ego gets a boost when she backs into a tight space, (or out of one) and a guy rolls down his window to shout, "great job"! The handle up top on the passenger side is like a handhold when you're rock climbing! Getting down as a passenger I have to really bend that right knee, as my left leg tip toes to find ground. Most of the time I just would just do a little leap of faith, making people giggle that saw me! " Well what else can I do" I would announce to them!

Annie,
My salads can get way too complicated! I am learning less is more. I had bought "Valued Naturals" heavenly heart nuts in individual packets for snacks, but they are the right amount for a salad. Walnuts, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, almonds and cashews. Yummy.

On my way home from work stopped at Food Lion to get soda and Gatorade for Vince. Home and took Ganon for a walk around the neighborhood. It started to get warm, I wish I’d brought my bottle of water with me. Maybe he would have gotten the message that I had a water bowl with me for him.
Now making cookies for Vince and Jess. She should be here later today. I do hope she does because I’ve already borrowed food for Ganon twice from a neighbor and I probably only have enough for his dinner tonight . I don’t want to keep asking my neighbor for food, yet I really don’t want to pay $50 for a 15lb bag of dog food(that’s the smallest it comes)
Allie – I always marvel at Delia’s eyes. The kids are soooo cute. I remember Vince telling me (I was out at the time) that Jess and Bryan told Denise to put the chair next to the counter, step on the counter and get the cookie jar. When she did they ran into the living room saying “daddy, daddy, Denise is in the cookie jar”. Only he’d seen what they were doing so Denise didn’t get punished
kylia – this one place (I don’t think they’re a dealer, but I’m not sure) used to do warranty work for Murray. That is...until they stopped reimbursing them for the warranty work. Interesting...they only last 3-5 years. I know it has a Briggs and Stratton engine. Oh well….we’ll probably wind up getting it welded or have the guy cut the large portions of grass (front, back yards, side of the house, under the power lines). As I recall, this mower wasn’t exactly cheap. But probably cheaper than the John Deer that we had before it.
Barbie – agree with Lynette. 6 months! Seems like only 2. So proud of how you’ve risen to the occasion
Carol – I hope you’re not still without a/c

Furikake does have a fair amount of sodium but I do like the health benefits too. The Nori seaweed is rich in omega3, vitamins and minerals. Its important to use it sparingly. I always log it, and it fits into my sodium plans for the day. 👍🏼 I flip flop with that seasoning and the "everything bagel" seasoning when I have avocado toast or put on my cottage cheese.👍🏼

Baths and showers...
I used to love a hot bath! When I was suffering with my gallbladder issues years ago, I would take multiple baths a night to relieve the abdomen pain. This was before the bath remodel, and when we had a different tub. It was deeper and I could lie in it almost completely submerged. Now? I draw a bath and I am knees and belly out of the water! Its so shallow! Typical cheaper model with walls all pre made with shelving. Not tile. But we didn't get to choose. So now its just a spare bathroom for guests or when son returns its his bath.
We have a large shower in the master bathroom off our bedroom that has a bench seat built in. Thats nice when I want to sit and let hot water hit an aching neck or have a headache. The sliding doors are wonky, and it is most likely the same bath when the house was built in 1975. I throw cleaning products on it but it is resilient in looking cloudy glassed, and yellowed in places of the porcelain. Every sink in the house has a ding in the porcelain where like something heavy has dropped in it. We noted all the problems when we moved in, so at least we aren't responsible whenever we move out.🙄

Kylia - my eldest was diagnosed with ADHD in ‘22. I have learned from her that I sure have a lot of the signs of it. She tells me I’ve created tremendous coping skills over the years. She is sure her father has it worse than me but he of course won’t even discuss it.
Your property is beautiful.Lisa - the former owner of the ceramics shop I attend came to ceramics Thursday evening. She was telling us that she really had to stand up for herself with the nurses as they kept trying to give her different meds than she takes. They also tried to give her someone else’s once. She said it was scary to think what would happen if she just did what they expected.
Kaitlyn cleaned up a little sailboat that Brodey bought for her a few years ago but needed some repairs so she is just getting to it. She sent me this picture of her legs when she finished the other night.
Heather- your flowers are very pretty.
Nappable trousers - I love it!
I think that we should go back to more natural environments here, I swear all of the pesticides and such is killing us and ruining the environment.Margaret - you have a beautiful view.
I love food court Chinese food. I don’t have it probably more than once a year but now I really want it. 😂Lanette - I think that sounds like a wonderful way to socialize. I truly believe it is a very important thing, especially as we age.
Rebecca - that sounds like a lively trip with your sister.
I hope it all works out for you.Flea - congratulations to your daughter, it’s not an easy job for sure.
I am finding with the prices of things these days that we make more money than we ever have, but don’t feel any further ahead. I’m hoping with Rodger’s plans to continue working for winter work this year that we can get ahead a bit more without going backwards, it’s the catching up that hurts so much.
Pip - You have an eye for making things, what about buying a frame and doing a scrapbook type layout in it. You can buy dog related scrapbook paper. Something like this is what I’m trying to describe.
Seaweed - in NB growing up my grandfather used to eat Dulse, I remember trying it and it being salty.
Rosemarie - I don’t know about those driverless cars. I think machines are going to take us over. There will be no jobs and without jobs how will there be taxes paid? Like you, I might go in one just to check it out once though.
They aren’t a thing here yet.Terri - love the cards!
Rita - I’m so happy you were able to see the video!
Allie - I’m not surprised you have some PTSD from all of your medical procedures. Have you thought about therapy?
Michele - why wouldn’t Jess just send you money to buy a bag of food to leave at your place? I wouldn’t be willing to keep a dog if I had to pay to feed it.
I have to do a major clean today, so far I’ve gone and registered our vehicles for another year and sat and caught up with you ladies.
I’m thinking of running to the scrapbook store, I have a couple of projects I’m working on but I think I’ll hold off on that for a while. I want to try to use what I have before purchasing more.
I just need to use more of my creative brain on how to get the look I’m going for.
First up is finishing my nephew’s wind chime. I’m almost done!Tracey in Edmonton

Yard work-I despise yard work, but it needs to be done. I tried hiring people and they just don’t care. One time, we caught them using a string trimmer on the fake grass. They mow the grass whether it needs it or not and in the summer here, it often doesn’t need it every 2 weeks because it’s so dry. Then they were just mowing dirt. They prune trees that shouldn’t be pruned and have ripped out plants for some reason we don’t understand. This is all even after I meticulously explain to them what to do and not touch. The problem is the companies just hire day laborers and no one is consistent so they just do “whatever” and most of them don’t understand a lick of English.
We can’t let it get wild because of the fire risk. So, I do the minimum for the front and don’t give a flip about the back. That’s for the mister.
Since I have pollen allergies, yard work makes me sick. Usually, one hour is my max.As for hiring people for other tasks, it’s really hard. Most handy people don’t want small jobs, so they bid soooooo high. Therefore, we have to figure it out ourselves or don’t fix it. Handy people are also very busy and sometimes cannot do our work for weeks out. If I need a handy person, I need him/her now. Not in 6 weeks.
That’s why we do things ourselves.Tina in CA

Lanette ~ Your evening out with former co-workers sounds great! Hope you get to enjoy more of these.
Rebecca ~ The new ways of eating seem to be going well. I admire how you are sticking to the program.
Barbie ~ Hugs! Know you are missing Jake and glad that Annie is settling down.
Annie ~ Seems like you have had a lot of interesting trips. I hope Pip will enjoy Vegas when she get to visit.
ADHDLD: This fits me greatly. I finally learned how to study after college which meant I no longer memorized everything and actually associated meaning to what I was studying. I am sure my DH has the same problems and so does my son. I really am happy with the news lately that red dyes are being eliminated from foods along with other nutrition changes.
Yard Work: I am like some of you who work to keep the home place neat. I have mowed, blown, trimmed, planted etc for many years. In addition I have painted inside and out; taken down and put up wallpaper; and refinished furniture along with all the other jobs that need to be done to keep the house decent. Today, I am not able to do that and must say I miss it greatly. It gave me joy.
Workers have been here since 8 AM and I hope they will be finished around 3 PM. I have paid to also have my air ducts cleaned out as the house is over 30 yrs old and it has never been done. Hope it will cut down on the dust.

Dh got the call asking if it was ok if they turn off the oxygen for his mom. They transitioned her from comfort care hospice to death hospice a week ago Thursday, expecting her to pass last weekend. Stubborn as ever, she is still hanging on, barely. This morning they said no eye or pain response at all.
He is over there now- says she has the "death rattle". Very hard to hear.Thankful that this is almost over. I just pray he is able to let go and let all the bitterness/hatered/anger die with her. He has held it all in for way too long.

you can simmer down the blueberries and make jam/preserves- if they are sweet enough, don't even need to add sugar. It takes a long time but oh is it worth it. I did that when we got cases of frozen ones when I helped at the food program/food bank- Mom and I canned them. So good on ice cream or on toast. Takes up a lot less room in the freezer too.

Tracey – I never in my life thought of having Jess leave a bag of food for Ganon here! I’m going to mention it to her when she comes to pick them up. She called and said she was on her way. Not sure what time she’ll be here. Have to lector tonight but I might leave church early in case they get here early. She wants to go out to dinner, then they have to leave because she’s on call tomorrow.
Tina – what I’m concerned about if we have to guy doing the cutting of the grass is that he’ll do it even if it doesn’t need to be done. Also, I’ve seen him doing it when it’s been raining out. I guess I just have to find out how much it’ll cost. He did cut one part which I didn’t think he could get his tractor into but he did so I called and told him “I see you had trouble. Don’t bother with that area, I’ll do it”
I plan to mow the grass tomorrow. I’ve mentioned to Vince that if I use the walk behind and he does the weed wacking, we can probably do it all in 1-1/2 hr. If he doesn’t do it, I will since that’s what I usually did anyway.
Debbie – thoughts with you and your hubby in this time. One thing I do with frozen blueberries is let them defrost in yogurt. Makes a sort-of syrup but no sugar. That’s good
Allie – happy birthday.

Thanks for the encouragement!
Its been interesting not having the food noise, or the appetite. But I still try to get my protein in. I do love my plastic family veggie platter and vary the veggies I cut up in it. I have red bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes and will fill celery in it after I get done munching today. It just makes things easier. I do like figuring out the food plan, rearranging things so I don't go over my carbs or fats. Doing that and still getting in protein is a challenge. I have 3 different protein drinks I alternate, just to make sure. While I lose weight I don't want to get "ozempic face" which is what many of the actresses faces have. It kind of looks like their face melted, loss of muscle tone. So don't want that! You all get front row seats in this here little journey of mine.👍🏼💖🤗

Tomorrow husband is taking me to see the new (not so new), "Mission Impossible" movie at the base theater. Then afterwards I will have 1/2 of a hamburger. It will be interesting. Not sure I can even do that but I have the day logged already so we'll see. I will listen to myself.

Today's food etc:
I had cubed up a potato, put in seasonings and baked it. Pretty much just oven fried potatoes, but hash browns like. I ate half of the potato.

Carol - such great news that your AC is being repaired! You'll be all set the next time the furnace door is left open!
Tracey - that's quite a large amount of dirt adorning Kaitlyn's legs. For a minute I thought I saw some kind of religious symbol on that left leg and she wouldn't be allowed to wash it but pilgrims would travel far to see it and make offerings! 😁 Looks like she got a great start in getting that boat clean.
Allie - Happy "65th Level" Birthday!!
Tina - so sorry your yard service isn't dependable. I feel lucky I've had the same guy for going on three years now, it's him, his dad and brother. Dad and brother don't speak good English but understand it quite well. So far no major mishaps. I'm generally out there with them the whole time they are working. They quoted me $300 to mow so that gives an idea of what an obstacle course it is, lol.
Michele - my neighbor hires a lawn guy for the season who has many other accounts. Often John's lawn is 6" high in some places before the guy gets here for the first mow in the spring and John even gets his old mower out and takes down the high spots over the drain field. Then, the lawn is cut so short that the guy is mowing dirt every couple weeks. John seems to really like him and it's not my business but it costs quite a bit. So I like having control over when and where it gets mowed.
Speaking of mowing, I finished the front yard this afternoon. Lisa, your shelving vinyl stuck me to the seat really well, but I still feel like I'm tipping. I'm pretty sure it's not the machine, it's somehow my back. Maybe I need to sit father back in the seat instead of crouching over - a habit formed ducking under branches. Hope to lure Charlie out here soon and he can give me some tips.
Rebecca - your meals look great, good job on the protein by the way. Enjoy the movie!
🔥 Inflammation’s Role in Weight Gain Rabbit hole….
I did a some digging as to why I gained around 7 lbs back in three months when I hadn't altered my diet very much - I wasn't eating a pint of ice cream and a package of Oreos every night. Some meals with pasta, not a lot. But still, white starches and added sugars were creeping in a little. This gain started when this back pain flared up, to the week. I found out this might be why:
Insulin Resistance
Chronic inflammation interferes with how your cells respond to insulin.
This leads to higher blood sugar and insulin levels, which promote fat storage—especially around the abdomen.
Leptin Resistance
Leptin is the hormone that tells your brain you’re full.
Inflammation can disrupt leptin signaling, making your brain think you’re starving—even when you’re not.
Result: increased appetite and slower metabolism.
Cortisol Elevation
Pain and inflammation are stressors, and the body responds by releasing cortisol.
Chronically elevated cortisol can lead to increased fat storage, particularly visceral fat, and muscle breakdown, which slows metabolism.
Fatigue & Reduced Activity
Pain makes movement harder, which reduces energy expenditure.
Less movement + unchanged or increased appetite = weight gain over time.
Sleep Disruption
Inflammation and pain often interfere with sleep.
Poor sleep increases ghrelin (hunger hormone) and decreases leptin, leading to cravings and overeating.
So I'm heading back on the no added sugar, no white carbs for a week or two and will see what happens. It's pretty much the way I was eating last summer and it was super easy.

Hi ladies,
I can’t explain how strange it is to wake up each morning feeling fine, to realize as the sun comes up and lights my bedroom that I still have limited vision. To realize once again that my world is limited by my vision and by what I want to ask help doing. Realize I type this feeling both limited and completely overwhelmed with the love and help I am surrounded by. I have been independent most of my life. By the time I was 10 years old there were 2 infant siblings who needed my parents in a way a 10 year old did not. So I became more and more independent. And there have only been short times where there was a “partner” months of dating and one 6 month time of living together. But I have lived alone (mostly) or with housemates all of the rest of the time. And much of that time there has not been a lot of disposable income so I have learned to do it myself, or figured out a way to trade skills for what I needed. I never thought about losing a sense – and how different it makes life. People have lost the sense of smell due to Covid (some short term some long term) and now I am curious, is it something that you think about everyday, does the lack of smell soak up your time and energy? Beth what about the lack of hearing, and now the restoration of some of that hearing…. The limited vision is at this point does suck up time and energy, and I wonder if I will get used to it. I hope I do not have to; that in time my vision will come back but for now I am doing a myriad of things to help make my current life easier. The last few days have been clutter control. A pile that might have some mail, a recipe, a card, a bill the most recent grocery store ad…. Is a frustrating pile, as it will take many minutes and concentration to find one item out of that pile. So each pile is being gone through and files made to put everything away, a ton of old paper work being thrown out or shredded. Just getting it done helps me feel more calm and comfortable in my own home. But as I finish one I realize that there is another spot that needs to be organized. Closing the business is also allowing me to discard items that I might not have otherwise.
Thinking of you all, and sending love and care
Love Kim

We have Air…😍 I did not mention in all my posts that we had overhead fans but not any house windows that could be opened. They had all been painted over and the original owners had installed some type of double glass things that I took down when i could no longer clean them. If I ever replace the windows it will be such a help.
Kim ~ I wanted to tell you that you are not the only one among us who had mother issues. My mother and I had a love/hate relation. I grew up in the rural country and she grew up in the small local city. In her desire to become a part of the town society, she kept telling me that I was "backward" because I was shy and didn't want to go to events that would make her happy. That word "backward" really affected my future ego.

we are still crying every day, it’s hard. Kirby is already asking me about getting another lab pup. Thing is, I do all the training/ correcting, etc. the difference here is being retired, it would go quicker because I don’t work anymore. Dogs are so expensive now (if you want a pure breed) also, I would love an English lab vs an American one. I love the English block face. We’ll see. I assumed our plan was to get a shelter dog, guess I assumed wrong. Tomorrow we go camping for a short stay, once again it will be hard because it will be the first time without hom. ;0(

😀 Carol, so happy to hear that you got your AC working again.
😀 Kim, you are doing an amazing job coping and doing stuff with your limited vision.
😀 Lanette, you are doing an amazing job caring for your huge piece of property.
😀 Michele, why not order a bag of Ganon's food from Chewy and then you'll have it whenever he comes.
😀 Jake's son called this afternoon for a chat. It was good to talk to him. He and his long time partner are planning to get married soon. I had already decided that there was no way I could drive down to a wedding and I told him that. He told me that it would be so great to have me there so I said I'd try to come. I didn't try to explain to him that I between my reluctance to drive far and my concern about care for the dogs that I hadn't been able to take Jake to and from the doctor or hospital an hour away so there was no chance that I could drive six and half hours to where they live and stay over.

Hugs to you, Allie. My husband and I have been having a long-term conversation about the trauma we carry from our childhood and especially from our former marriages. We are both learning that when people treat us poorly, as so many of us have been treated by former partners/spouses (some by current partners/spouses) that the ill-treatment says more about the other person than it says about us. With our personalities, we both internalize the poor treatment, wondering what we did wrong? What did we do to deserve this treatment. The truth is, nothing. I know you worked so hard in your marriage. You did not deserve to be treated the way you were. It's him, not you.
Kim — my heart is breaking for you. I am praying that your eyesight is fully restored. I have two chronic diseases that I think about every day. I haven't lost a sense, but it does take a lot of energy to think about how not to get glutened, for example. Everything that goes into my mouth, I have to ask if it may have been contaminated. We don't have a gluten-free kitchen, so breadcrumbs fly around everywhere. It's okay. I feel strongly that not everyone has to give up wheat, barley, and rye, just because I do, but it does make cooking tricky. I have my own toaster and my own butter. If someone accidently puts gluten bread in my toaster, which has happened, even though they are on opposite sides of the kitchen, I have to sanitize the toaster, and that's a pain. Same with so many things. Eating out is exhausting. And sometimes my family isn't the most sensitive about it. When we were traveling last week, my husband wanted to eat at Shake Shack at the airport, because he loves it and we don't have them here. He researched it and announced that their fries were safe, and they had a veggie burger. I appreciated the effort, but I had to research it myself, and both were false. Well, they did have a veggie burger, but it had wheat in it, and the fries were not cooked in a dedicated fryer. This happens a lot, which is one reason I don't eat out much, and when I choose, I am very picky!
Cancer comes with its own issues, of course, but on a day-to-day basis, the celiac actually takes up much more brain power than cancer because I have to think about the food every single meal and snack.
Michele — I wouldn't plan to cook for Jess and her partner (can't remember his name). Their schedules are likely going to be different than yours and it sounds like they like different foods. I've also gotten the impression that she doesn't like to cook, so alternating days could put a lot of stress on everyone. If it were me, I would just go about my meal preparation as normal, and if they are there, they can eat, and if they aren't, they are on their own. I would explain that clearly from the beginning. It's kind of the way we operate in my house. My 24-year-old lives with us, and he has his own schedule. Sometimes I make enough for him to eat and save it for him. If he's home, I always invite him to eat with us, but I would say half the time, he's just on his own. I would never ask him to start cooking for us. (The whole celiac thing — it really is better if I do all of the cooking, anyway). It is getting to be like this with my 18-year-old more and more, as well. I'm trying to teach him that I still expect him at dinner, so if he has other plans, he needs to tell me. He doesn't always remember, but he is getting better.
I'm feeling your sorrow, Pip. For so long after our Leif died, I was still calling for him, forgetting that he wasn't around anymore. All of us still slip up now and then and call our current dog "Leif," and they don't look a thing like each other. We are just so conditioned, and we miss him so terribly. He's been gone for about five years now. 😔 They truly do live in our hearts forever.
Hot here today. So thankful for air-conditioning. And thankful yours is fixed now, Carol!
I had a delightful grocery store run this morning before it got too hot. I bought all kinds of organic veggies and fruits (woo! woo!, but still) and some flavored sparkling water. We bought tamales from a woman on the side of the road yesterday that we're eating for dinner tonight. My son had one last night, and he said it was delicious. I wish I could figure out how to make them. I've tried, but alas, no bueno. We were laughing about it last night, that I am so picky about food, but I see a lady selling tamales caliente, and I pull off to the side of the road and run back to buy some. I was not the only one. She was doing a brisk business under her little umbrella. 😃
I better heat up those tamales! It's dinner time.
Much love.

Well, Jess and Colby came toget the critters. In a way, I’m relieved. I like taking care of them, but a dog’s schedule and a cat’s are so different. But I do get to go on walks with Ganon
We went to dinner at NY Hibachi Grill. Honestly, I’m getting tired of that place. Vince likes it. He likes a “cafeteria” or “buffet” type place. I’d like to at least change and go to Golden Corral once in awhile. Oh, I’ve suggested it. “There’s usually too long of await”. Big deal. It’s not like it’s hours and hours
Carol – yea for a/c
Allie – now that I think about it, you haven’t mentioned Tom in a while. What’s up?
Flea – I can totally understand how careful you have to be. Can you take, say, your own bread, give it to the place and have them put the burger (assuming it’s OK) on that? Have you ever tried doing something like that. If so, what was the reaction?
Just took a walk around the block. Got sweaty so I’ll take a short shower.

Flea - They tested me for celiac early on, and I did some research in the runup to the test. It's not an easy thing, having to deal with it… Are there any of the gluten-free processed foods, breads, etc., unexpectedly good? Do your non-celiac family like the things you make for yourself?
Lanette - I just checked in with our son today. He and the significant other are parting ways, but not until mid-August, and the move is only across the city of Jacksonville, FL. She is heading elsewhere (he said where, I forget), after they move into a one-bedroom apartment on August 8th, and she will leave August 14th. He seems quite happy about the prospect, and is keeping his emotional support cat, Mabel. Corey and I just look at each other and shrug. I think their relationship was, in the end, functionally and financially mutually supportive rather than emotional, and they're both happy to go different directions. Glad they never actually married… Interested to see what happens, as I have a feeling he will land back in our laps within a year or two. I could be wrong, if he finds a community there, it might shift that balance for him toward staying there. He is quite solitary, but doesn't really like being completely alone.
Heather - Which reminds me, that was a lovely picture of your oldest son and his partner. They both look joyful and comfortable together.
Allie - Many hugs, and what Flea said. You never deserved Tom's treatment of you, and it speaks much more to his character than yours. PTSD is probably very apt for what you've gone through in both your marriage and your medica-lollapalooza.
Had put all my pics of the summer flowers in the post, but lost everything but the text, so I'll take that as a sign and share them tomorrow. Hard to believe that June is nearly over, half the year gone.
Time for bed,
Love y'all,

Just wanted to show my sod! I am so pleased it is staying green in the shade! I don't when it will root into the grass beneath it!
Best,

How many acres do you have for it to require use of a tractor? I mow 4 acres with just a zero turn mower.
