    Yep, I agree!

Great job on 15 min meditation! I sit, my mind starts fixating, then I think of this and that, and look at the clock and 2 minutes have passed....aaaack!

    Lisa,

Love the Front entry porch set up! You have a great front view! We have some huge boulders, and my husband piles three rocks on one of them, which the squirrels have fun knocking over. Its one tall rock with two smaller rocks on each side so you can guess what it looks like.😂

    Tracey: 🥰the wind chimes.
Debbie: Keeping you both in my thoughts as you work through the days ahead.
Heather: Coastal areas are always a little cooler. And we are also further north than you are, so not as hot as the south of England.
Machka: You’re doing well on the weight loss. Have you a goal in mind?
Carla: My heart weeps for your friend, and the decision she has taken. Assisted Dying isn’t yet an option here. Courage, dear girl!
Rebecca: I’m so proud of how you are embracing your new regimen.
    Allie: Happy Birthday.

Today we are meeting with DHs Brother and wife for coffee after lunch they are flying stateside to visit our niece and family up near the Canadian border.

    Good morning my friends!

I am irritated with my scale this morning. For three weeks I have ridden my bike every day, and been very good about calories, except for a few restaurant meals. It says I'm down four pounds so on second thought, I guess that's reasonable. I'm just impatient.

I am going to try to start stair climbing with my Dad today. I bought a calendar to use for a log. There is some risk for my broken foot. The doctor said I could reduce wearing the boot today if I had no pain. But there is still soreness. Still, I'm looking at maybe two or three flights of stairs which is not much more than daily life. Maybe I will wait for this afternoon and see if I am feeling less impatient.

Lisa hope you get good news for your shoulder. And you are doing a great job on your yard!

Lanette Yay for no sugar/ white starches! Sugar is evil. One of my toughest challenges.

Rebecca it took me months to feel like I made progress controlling my thoughts. But the benefits of meditation kick in long before it feels successful. Even then there are days when it feels like a crazy monkey in my brain. That's when I need the stillness most.

Tina Yay for yardwork done! I think the only permanent yardwork is to pave it over with concrete. ( And then sweep!) I just stopped going outside. Too hot, and too many mosquitoes. I had small trees pulled out of my mother's flower garden this spring. It's chaos out there. But I hired out trimming the bushes and mowing the lawn. So it looks okay from the street.

Ginny bravo for managing a move with a bad back! So hard to know how much you can do without hurting yourself.

It's six thirty and Dad is up, but refusing to wear pants. He says he doesn't need them.

I was thinking of disabling his computer. He keeps talking about buying a car. I don't think he would do it online, but maybe. I could password it, or unplug something, or change the input for the monitor. It depends on whether I assume responsibility when he can't use it. He tries to look up the church schedule, with very limited success. Hmm.

Anyway, wishing you all a happy, healthy, safe and free day. Oops just realized I need to post to the new thread. Sorry!
