    June 2024 SW: 160

    Challenge SW: 149.8
    8/8: 148.0
    8/15: 147.8

Challenge GW: 140-145 ish. (This will be maintenance weight for me, which I have never met, ever.) My goal this challenge is to finally reach maintenance and work on how to maintain it.

Still chipping away at my vacation gain. Goes on easy, goes off had. Ugh!

Go @200Karen That's very reassuring. I'm sure this gives you confidence that you can go seven days without tracking or measuring and be good with it.

I've been "maintaining" since May 2nd. It's still a learning process. Last night I ate WAY too much. So today I'm thinking about the upcoming week and how I can compensate for it. This is NOT what I had in mind as a strategy for maintaining!!!!! LOL🙃

I realized that I'm doing a modified IF. One day eating + 6 days tracking to make up for it. Intermittent fasting has never appealed to me. I actually went looking on the community page for information on IF. I know what I did wasn't the way IF is supposed to work. Because it doesn't work. It's stupid. It feels bad. And that's not helpful.

So here goes for another week. Back to business!!! I can do it.

Good luck everybody. Last week is gone. This week is going to be better.

@200Karen Thank you for the link to the challenge. I think I'll follow that for the rest of the month. It sounds like a great way to do IF.

l love seeing that picture of your CrossFit mates. There are so many of you working towards the same goal. And it still cracks me up that all those men are in the back row.

My name is Donna. I am 65 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall. My highest weight was 253. I would like to lose a total of about 100 pounds and have been working on it for too many years (since 2018). I weigh weekly but also on the 1st and last day of each month for a full month’s account.

CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT (FROM July 31st): 188.8

CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 10 pounds to land at 178.8

    CHALLENGE ENDING WEIGHT: xxxxx

TOTAL LOST IN THIS CHALLENGE: xxxxx

    🔜🔜🔜🔜🔜ULTIMATE GOAL: 145-155 (I’ll know when I get there!)

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    CURRENT MONTH:

    08/01 – 187.6 ✅ (Trend Weight – 188.0)

    08/05 – 185.8 ✅ (Trend Weight – 187.5)

⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️08/12 – 182.6 ✅ (Trend Weight – 186.3) I felt very ill last night and it was definitely food/Type 2 Diabetes related. But it seemed more than that. I had lost 6 lbs in 11 days and I think it had something to do with that being too quick. I have gained back one pound overnight due to having to grab carby, sugary food in volume to correct my medical situation. I’m okay with the uptick today. I think I actually needed it to reassure my body that it’s okay. I am still down 6.2 from starting weight so progress is still being made. You can be sure I will closer monitor my blood sugars today with extra blood tests so I can see what is going on. However, I’m very pleased with my progress in both the scale weight and the trend weight.

⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️08/19 – 184.4 ❌ (Trend Weight – 184.4) An overnight jump up for no reason at all. Yesterdays calories were 1200 and carbs were 55. It should have been a good day. Trusting the process and moving forward but with disappointment.
