    My name is Donna. I am 65 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall. My highest weight was 253. I would like to lose a total of about 100 pounds and have been working on it for too many years (since 2018). I weigh weekly but also on the 1st and last day of each month for a full month’s account.

    08/26β€” 185.0 ❌ (Trend Weight: 185.0) I can’t believe I forgot to post Tuesday , but at least I did document my weight. On this day I experienced another unexpected and unfair jump up on the scale. I can’t explain what always happens on our journey’s. All I can do is keep on keeping on and do what is right as often as I can and know that my body will eventually catch up.

    βš“οΈβš“οΈβš“οΈβš“οΈβš“οΈ008/31 – 181.8 βœ… (Trend Weight – 184.5) I exceeded my goal by 3.0 lbs in August, losing a total of 7 lbs this month which will really help me in my little experiment if I can just hang on to it. I really kept each individual week’s goal in mind while doing this, though I had some bad days and some weeks I had to make up for. I have the U.S. Holiday of Labor Day (a food holiday) in September, a family member’s birthday, and at least one travel day every week looming for the month. I will be battling every week as I usually gain several pounds per travel day so I will have to work hard all week, every week, to get it back down. That is like a challenge within a challenge for me! It won’t be easy but I am committed to this feat, this challenge, this experiment and to myself and my health. I am going forward with hope in my heart!
