LOVE THIS THREAD! Hopefully more Newbies will get the message. I've been the fool to trust a naturopath in suggesting HCG, (VLCD of 500 a day plus shots).......STUPIDEST THING EVER!!!!! Turned me into a weak and cranky B**** .....Among other issues that took a year to recover from.
Give me my TDEE to stay within and a workout that makes my eyeballs sweat!!!
Easy way out = Temp results with a list of side effects.
True way out = TDEE and moving. It really is that simple!! :drinker:0 -

i remember when I was a kinesiology student before i switched back to accounting,
one professor talked about quickest ways to weight lose is losing a limb. If he had to lose 20-30lbs in 24hrs to get 20 million dollars, he said he give up a leg to get there.
As a class we agreed a leg would be the way to go. with modern prosthetics, losing a leg doesn't hinder one's life style as it used to. Plus you'd lose the most weight with the surgery (leg weighs more than an arm), and would still have all your upper limbs so you can use the internet, play on Imgur, Reddit, and MFP. Though it's the fastest, I do not think it's the easiest.
If you can find a DeLorean and hit 88mph... that would do the trick too I'm sure. Quickest and easiest for sure - time spent= negative, effort = easy as driving. =P0 -
I love the lose a leg discussion....I told my doctor my goal is to not lose a specific amount of weight, but to be within the "normal BMI" range by the end of the year. He said what do you need to do in order for that to happen? I said, "Lose 16 pounds or grow 6 inches"!0
