A little frustrated, I had gained about 1 1/2 lbs since last Monday's weigh in. Hoping that some of that is due to stress and that it will come back off. I ate pretty good last week, not saying that it couldn't be due to what I did eat, but that I wouldn't think that would cause that much weight gain. Oh well, just keep going, right?0 -
Monday 30/96

The human body fluctuates quite a lot over the course of the day/week. Our bodies will retain more or less water depending on our diets and exercise habits. You would've had to eat all your deficit PLUS another 5250 calories to truly gain 1.5 lbs over that time. I have weeks where I do everything right (as much as I can tell) and the scale doesn't move much - I up my water and usually end up dropping extra the following week. The biggest reasons I've found that I hold onto extra water weight is if I'm not drinking enough, if I'm eating too much sodium or if I have a really intense exercise day. It could also be impacted by the time of the month for females. Just keep doing what you know is right, make sure you get enough water (and watch your sodium) and you'll eventually see it drop. :flowerforyou:0 -
