And other guests would be pissed because he'd probably making all kinds of noise. And let's face it, no one wants that around their kids.0
-
Yep. Good call. I sure hope he didn't drive there to look for a room.0
-
Soooo...three fire alarms went off in a span of five minutes or so within a half hour of me walking in the door. Awesome! They are scheduled to replacing this shizz this week...not soon enough for this broad...ugh...0
-
That would make me plenty grumpy...I don't like loud noises!0
-
As a guest...I'd be unhappy about it but I know shizz happens...and it happens all hours of the day and night. As an employee...I'm so sick of it! I just dread all the a-holes that in the morning will act like I personally pulled the alarm and did it solely to piss them off.
And loud doesn't do it justice! It is disorienting, it is SO loud! Also the panel starts beeping, the phone starts ringing off the hook, all the emergency lights start flashing and it is just a clusterfudge of sounds & lights!
(Loud noises don't bother me too much but ya know what REALLY gets me? Multiple sounds. Like if the TV is on in one room and my fiancé is listening to a podcast in the other and my kid is singing. I feel like my brain can't take that much stimuli of sounds! I haven't always been that way but it really agitates me nowadays.)0 -
Might I suggest calling your boss and telling him your vomiting in the bathroom and letting him come in and take the flak. That would inspire him to hurry the repairs.0
-
I always miss the good stuff when I'm off!! How's everyone tonight?
@Frankie_Felinius you're beautiful either way. I don't where make up daily (or monthly lol)0 -
Doing good. So far all good clients tonight. I love nights like that.0
-
Alright! I've finished one round so far. I've eaten my salad and some watermelon. I'm drinking some water and I'm about to pay some bills.
Later, I might go to my car and pull out my recipe book I'm putting together.0 -
The weather! It is sixty degrees right now! Ba da ba ba ba...I'm lovin' it.
Getting my new driver's license tomorrow. Last pic was in 2011!0 -
I've eaten everything I could get my hands on so far, blah.
I need a new driver's license bc of my name change. Last time she had to take the photo without the flash bc I washed out so bad with it lmao!
@sufferlandrian That's always a good thing
Now for a more serious question; has anyone ever had a stress test done? My BP had been creeping up along with my heart rate. Was having a little shortness of breath and chest pain (felt more like I'd overexerted myself). Got new meds and have to one done.0 -
I'm not sure I've had the stress test they will be giving you. Got hooked up to ECGs and placed on a treadmill. They kept cranking up the speed until my heart rate got over a certain rate for over a certain amount of time. Then they compared that to how fast and far the treadmill went and said I was in good shape.0

This was like the stress test they gave my dad....where he failed miserably.
But he's on MFP and 11 pounds down now so hopefully he'll do exceptionally well on the next one!0 -
Still pretty smokey outside. Guess it's going to be early morning ride for training and Fat Tire fun for this afternoon.0
-
I was just starting to see my weight start creeping down and my dr told me I'm not allowed to do anything strenuous, no caffeine ( ), and no spicy food ( ). Blood work came back today and my thyroid levels are low too. I hit 31 and started falling apart lol. I'm hoping that's why I've been struggling to loose weight for so long.
Those wildfires out West look horrible. I hope you're safe and outta the way!0 -
Hey! At least with the thyroid low you have a reason for slower than expected weight loss. Once you fix that, Most of the other problems will start to come around since it regulates so many things.0
-
No caffeine?! I would tell that doctor to shove it where the sun don't shine! BUT...if it's about your thyroid, I would take that pretty seriously.
I'm feeling pretty lucky today. I just hit 179(I'm 5'6"), which I wont actually record until I see it again when I wake up tomorrow. My weight is dropping slowly BUT It's dropping and I know as I get closer to my goal it will slow down even more. Which is fine because I haven't been below 180 since before I moved to Texas 7 years ago!
My blood work has come back stunningly normal, all other tests were normal too! My tinea versicolor is in 'remission' I guess is what you could call it, and I'm starting to spend more time in the kitchen cooking new recipes! If I could just keep my finances in order then I will be all set!0 -
@sufferlandrian That's what I'm hoping as well as fixing a couple other issues I didn't realize were related to it.
@lilaclovebird Congrats!! That's a great post all around.
The real struggle comes at about 4am, life gets miserable about that time. I have a dr apt first thing in the morning so hopefully I'll be getting my shi*t straight pretty quick.0 -

@bethanie0825 Thanks!
My struggle hits at about 2am. If I'm properly hydrated I do okay, but if I'm not then everyone else needs to get out of the way between me and the nearest coffee pot. I've also found that snack spacing has helped significantly. I'm starting to FEEL that food is energy for the body to stay awake and keep going.
It makes me wonder how anorexics do it. If I find myself getting tired or sluggish, I pop a few grapes in my mouth or some slices of cucumber and BOOM energy. If I workout really hard and end up going 200 calories over now because of what I did that day, I don't complain or not eat. I drink water and if I'm still hungry, I accept that my body is telling me I NEED that fuel.
Hopefully, your doctor appointment goes well and you'll get your thyroid under control and get back on the fitness wagon. In the meantime, I'mma get back to fittin this whole veggie egg muffin in my mouth!0 -
Get at it!!!! lmao!!0

Oh I did, @bethanie0825. I did.
Also, @sufferlandrian, or anyone who can answer me, why does being nauseous make me want to eat more?0 -
Usually if you're nausea makes you hungry, you'll find it's the same food you are hungry for. You brain tells you it will settle your stomach. Depending on the food, you might want to look in to a possible ulcer trying to form.0

I'm craving milk/cheese.....
ETA: I've had an ulcer before when I was 17....
ETA2: according to Google, I'm pregnant....0 -
I hit my 40 pound marker yesterday and didn't even record it!...where is my BRAIN AT?!
0 -
40 pounds! Very nice!
You should see a gastroenterologist about a possible ulcer again. My grandfather craved milk/cheese when ever his ulcer would start to flair. You could try taking Pepcid or Prilosec for a week and see if that helps.
Love the video by the way.0 -
Woohoo!!!0

The weather looked pretty good this morning with visibility up to over 2 miles. I went for a ride and about 12 miles in to it, the wind shifted and blew the Glacier National Park fire smoke right into the valley. By the time I got home my eyes were burning and it was less than 1/2 mile visibility.0

Yay!!! Just got laid off 5 more days left!!0
-
Wow. That sucks. Makes it hard to work the last five days.0
